Abstract
To provide a metal particle-containing composition which produces high joining strength at a joined position and of which the lowering of the joining strength due to cooling and heating cycles is suppressed, to provide a paste for joining which, in addition to the above mentioned characteristics, has excellent printability on a body to be joined even when the metal particles are contained with high concentration, and further to provide a joined body which is not degraded by the cooling and heating cycles.SOLUTION: A metal particle-containing composition comprises: metal particles (A) with an average particle diameter of 180-1,000 nm; and a 20-80C compound (B) with two or more functional groups (b) being any one selected from a hydroxy group, a carboxy group, and an amino group. A paste for joining comprises a dispersion medium (C) and the metal particle-containing composition.
