Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] Embodiments of the present application relate to the field of communications, and more specifically, to communication methods and communication devices.
Background Art
[0002] In a wireless communication system, discontinuous reception (DRX) is introduced to reduce the power consumption of a terminal device while ensuring effective data transmission.
[0003] When a network device sets a DRX function for a terminal device, the terminal device can enter a sleep state at some moments, so that the terminal device does not need to continuously monitor the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). When the terminal device needs to monitor the PDCCH, the terminal device can be woken up from the sleep state to reduce the power consumption of the terminal device to some extent.
[0004] In the prior art, there is only a solution for the method in which a terminal device reports channel state information CSI based on unicast DRX. However, the method in which a terminal device reports CSI when unicast DRX and multicast DRX coexist is a technical problem that needs to be solved.
Summary of the Invention
[0005] Embodiments of the present application provide a communication method and a communication device for implementing CSI reporting of a terminal device when unicast DRX and multicast DRX coexist.
[0006] According to a first aspect, a communication method is provided, including skipping the terminal device from transmitting first channel state information CSI at a first time when a pre-set condition is satisfied, and the pre-set condition is as follows: The first condition is that the first time period does not fall within the active time of the first intermittent receiving DRX, and the first time period does not fall within the active time of the second DRX set. The second condition is that the first time does not belong to the active time of the first DRX, and the first time belongs to the active time of the third DRX set. The third condition is that neither the first timer nor the second timer set is operating during the first hour. The fourth condition is that the first timer is not operating during the first hour, but the third timer set is operating. The tenth condition is that the first timer is not operating during the first hour, and the first hour does not fall within the active time of the fourth DRX set. The 11th condition is that the first timer is not operating during the first hour, and the first hour falls within the active time of the fifth DRX set. Condition 12, which is that the first time period does not fall within the active time period of the first DRX and the fourth timer set is not operating, or The 13th condition includes one or more of the following: the first time period does not belong to the active time period of the first DRX, and the fifth timer set is operating. The first DRX is for controlling the monitoring of control information specific to the terminal device. The fourth DRX set includes at least one multicast DRX, and at least one multicast DRX includes the fourth multicast DRX, and the fourth multicast DRX is for controlling the monitoring of control information relating to the fifth multicast service. The fifth DRX set includes at least one multicast DRX, and at least one multicast DRX includes the fifth multicast DRX, and the fifth multicast DRX is for controlling the monitoring of control information relating to the sixth multicast service. While the first timer is operating, the terminal device monitors control information specific to the terminal device. The second timer set includes at least one multicast timer, and at least one multicast timer includes a third multicast timer. While the third multicast timer is operating, the terminal device monitors control information related to the third multicast service. The fifth timer set includes at least one multicast timer, and at least one multicast timer includes a sixth multicast timer. While the sixth multicast timer is operating, the terminal device monitors control information related to the eighth multicast service.

[0165] The terms “system” and “network” may be used interchangeably in the embodiments of this application.
[0166] The technical solutions in this application will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0167] Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of a communication system to which an embodiment of the present invention is applied. As shown in Figure 1, a terminal device 130 can access a wireless network to obtain services from an external network (e.g., the Internet) or to communicate with other devices through the wireless network, for example, to communicate with other terminal devices. The wireless network includes a radio access network (RAN) device 110 and a core network (CN) device 120. The RAN device 110 is configured to enable the terminal device 130 to access the wireless network, and the CN device 120 is configured to manage the terminal devices and provide a gateway for communication with the external network. It should be understood that the number of devices in the communication system shown in Figure 1 is used merely as an example. Embodiments of the present invention are not limited to such an example. During actual application, the communication system may further include more terminal devices 130 and more RAN devices 110, and may further include other devices.
[0168] Figure 2a is a schematic diagram of another network architecture to which embodiments of the present invention are applied. As shown in Figure 2a, the network architecture includes CN devices, RAN devices, and terminal devices. The RAN devices include baseband equipment and radio frequency equipment. The baseband equipment may be implemented by one node or by multiple nodes. The radio frequency equipment may be implemented independently of the baseband equipment, or it may be integrated into the baseband, or some functions may be implemented independently and some functions may be integrated into the baseband equipment. For example, in an LTE communication system, the RAN device (eNB) includes baseband equipment and radio frequency equipment. The radio frequency equipment may be located far away from the baseband equipment. For example, a remote radio unit (RRU) is a remote radio unit located relative to the BBU.
[0169] Communication between RAN devices and terminal devices follows a specific protocol layer structure. For example, the control plane protocol layer structure may include the functions of protocol layers such as the radio resource control (RRC) layer, packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer, radio link control (RLC) layer, media access control (MAC) layer, and physical layer. The user plane protocol layer structure may include the functions of protocol layers such as the PDCP layer, RLC layer, MAC layer, and physical layer. In possible implementations, a service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) layer may be further included on top of the PDCP layer.
[0170] A RAN device can implement the functions of protocol layers such as RRC, PDCP, RLC, and MAC by using one or more nodes. For example, in an advanced structure, a RAN device may include CUs and DUs, and multiple DUs may be controlled centrally by a single CU. As shown in Figure 2a, the CU and DU may be separated based on the protocol layers of the wireless network. For example, the functions of the PDCP layer and protocol layers above the PDCP layer are set on the CU, and the functions of protocol layers below the PDCP, such as the RLC layer and MAC layer, are set on the DU.
[0171] Splitting based on the protocol layer is just one example; alternatively, splitting may be performed based on other protocol layers, such as the RLC layer. Functions of the RLC layer and protocol layers above the RLC layer are set on the CU, while functions of protocol layers below the RLC layer are set on the DU. Alternatively, splitting can be performed at the protocol layer level. For example, some functions of the RLC layer and functions of protocol layers above the RLC layer are set on the CU, while the remaining functions of the RLC layer and functions of protocol layers below the RLC layer are set on the DU. Furthermore, splitting may be performed in other ways. For example, splitting can be performed based on delay. Functions whose processing time must satisfy delay requirements are set on the DU, while functions whose processing time does not need to satisfy delay requirements are set on the CU.
[0172] Furthermore, the radio frequency equipment does not have to be located in the DU; it may be independently integrated, integrated into the DU, or part of it may be located far from the DU and the rest integrated into the DU. This is not limited to the above.
[0173] Figure 2b is a schematic diagram of another network architecture to which embodiments of the present invention are applied. Compared to the network architecture shown in Figure 2a, in Figure 2b the control plane (CP) and user plane (UP) of the CU are further separated and can be implemented as different entities, namely, the control plane (CP) CU entity (i.e., the CU-CP entity) and the user plane (UP) CU entity (i.e., the CU-UP entity).
[0174] In the network architecture described above, signaling generated by the CU may be sent to a terminal device via the DU, or signaling generated by a terminal device may be sent to the CU via the DU. The DU can transmit the signaling transparently to the terminal device or CU by directly encapsulating the signaling at the protocol layer without parsing it. In subsequent embodiments, if such transmission of signaling between the DU and the terminal device is included, the transmission or reception of signaling by the DU includes this scenario. For example, signaling at the RRC or PDCP layer is ultimately processed as signaling at the PHY layer and transmitted to the terminal device, or converted from received signaling at the PHY layer. In this architecture, signaling at the RRC or PDCP layer may be transmitted by the DU, or by the DU and radio frequency equipment.
[0175] The network architectures shown in Figure 1, Figure 2a, or Figure 2b are applicable to communication systems in various radio access technologies (RATs). For example, the communication system may be an LTE communication system, a 5G (also known as New Radio, NR) communication system, a transition system between an LTE communication system and a 5G communication system, or certainly a future communication system, where the transition system may also be called a 4.5G communication system. The network architectures and service scenarios described in the embodiments of this application are intended to provide a clearer description of the technical solutions in the embodiments of this application and do not constitute a limitation on the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of this application. Those skilled in the art will recognize that, with the evolution of communication network architectures and the emergence of new service scenarios, the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of this application are also applicable to similar technical challenges. For example, the present invention may be applicable to broadcast multicast scenarios.
[0176] The devices in subsequent embodiments of the present application may be arranged in terminal devices or network devices based on the functions implemented by the devices. When the above CU-DU structure is used, the network device may be a CU node, a DU node, or a RAN device including a CU node and a DU node.
[0177] The multicast or multicast service referred to in the embodiments of this application may be a multicast and broadcast service (or multicast / broadcast service, MBS) in a new radio (NR) system. MBS was introduced by 3GPP to make effective use of resources in mobile communication networks and provides a point-to-multipoint service in mobile communication networks that transmits data to multiple users by a data source, thereby realizing network resource sharing and improving the utilization of resources, particularly air interface resources. NR MBS supports multicast and broadcast.
[0178] In the embodiments of this application, "multicast" can be replaced with other terms such as "multiple simultaneous transmission." Therefore, a multicast service can be replaced with a multiple simultaneous transmission service.
[0179] The same service and / or the same content data may be supplied simultaneously to a group / multiple terminal devices via multicast.
[0180] Multicast can be specific to a particular group of terminal devices, and these terminal devices may need to perform a "group joining process."
[0181] Therefore, unicast can be understood as supplying the same service and / or the same content data to one terminal device simultaneously. Unicast can also be understood as requiring a single piece of data to be sent separately to each device if that data needs to be sent to multiple devices.
[0182] In wireless communication systems, discontinuous reception (DRX) functionality is introduced to control the behavior of terminal devices in monitoring the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) while ensuring effective data transmission and further reducing power consumption of terminal devices. When a network device configures a terminal device for DRX functionality, the terminal device can enter a sleep state for a certain period of time, thereby eliminating the need for the terminal device to continuously monitor the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). When the terminal device needs to monitor the PDCCH, it wakes up from sleep mode, which can reduce the terminal device's power consumption to some extent.
[0183] The DRX is briefly described below with reference to Figure 3. Figure 3 is a schematic diagram of the DRX cycle according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 3, the DRX cycle may include a lifetime (e.g., on lifetime) or wake-up time (e.g., on lifetime) and a sleep time (e.g., DRX opportunity). The on lifetime is the time the terminal device waits after being woken up to receive the PDCCH. During this period, the terminal device monitors the PDCCH. If the terminal device successfully decodes the PDCCH, it may remain in the wake-up state or extend its active time. The DRX opportunity is the sleep time of the terminal device. During this period, the terminal device does not need to monitor the PDCCH, and power consumption can be reduced. It can be understood that the longer the sleep time of the terminal device, the lower the power consumption of the terminal device, but correspondingly, the delay in service transmission of the terminal device will be higher.
[0184] The DRX functionality of a terminal device can be configured by a network device. Even if a network device configures DRX functionality for a terminal device, it should be understood that the terminal device may still monitor the PDCCH depending on the requirements of other media access control MAC layer processes. That is, if other MAC layer processes require the terminal device to continue monitoring the PDCCH, the terminal device must continuously monitor the PDCCH regardless of its current DRX status.
[0185] (1) Unicast DRX:
[0186] If a DRX group is not configured (or, in other words, in R15), DRX parameters are configured by the network device for each terminal device's MAC entity or for each terminal device. That is, one terminal device's MAC entity uses one set of DRX parameters.
[0187] In a carrier aggregation (CA) scenario, the terminal device performs a single DRX for all active cells using the same set of DRX parameters.
[0188] In a multi-radio dual connectivity (MR-DC) scenario, the master node (MN) and secondary node (SN) correspond separately to the MAC entities of the terminal devices. Therefore, the terminal device has two independent sets of DRX parameters and performs two DRX operations on the MN and SN. In other words, the terminal device performs one DRX operation using one set of DRX parameters for all active serving cells in the master cell group (MCG), and another DRX operation using the other set of DRX parameters for all active serving cells in the secondary cell group (SCG).
[0189] If no DRX group is configured, the DRX active time may include one or more of the following: the operating time of drx-onDurationTimer; the operating time of drx-InactivityTimer; the operating time of drx-RetransmissionTimerDL; the operating time of drx-RetransmissionTimerUL; the operating time of drx-RetransmissionTimerSL; the operating time of drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM for multicast; the time while a scheduling request SR is sent on a PUCCH and the SR is waiting to be processed; the time while a PDCCH indicating a new transmission has not been received after a successful reception of a RAR in a non-contradiction-based random access process (i.e., after a successful non-contradiction-based RA), etc.
[0190] Network devices control DRX operation by setting the following parameters using RRC messages: ● drx-onDurationTimer: This is the period at the start of the DRX cycle. The position at which drx-onDurationTimer starts can be calculated based on parameters set by the base station and an expression specified in the protocol. ● drx-InactivityTimer: The period following a PDCCH occasion instructing the scheduling of a new uplink or downlink transmission. When a terminal device receives a PDCCH indicating that there is a new uplink or downlink transmission (i.e., a new transmission is scheduled), it starts or restarts the drx-InactivityTimer. ● drx-RetransmissionTimerDL: The maximum duration until a DR retransmission is received. If drx-HARQ-RTT-TimerUL has elapsed and data decoding has not been successful, drx-RetransmissionTimerDL is started. ● drx-RetransmissionTimerUL: The maximum duration until a grant for UR retransmission is received. drx-RetransmissionTimerUL is initiated for the corresponding HARQ process on the first symbol after drx-HARQ-RTT-TimerUL has elapsed. ● drx-HARQ-RTT-TimerDL: The minimum duration before a MAC entity expects to receive a DL allocation for HARQ retransmission. At the terminal, the device receives a PDCCH indicating that downlink transmission is present, or the terminal device receives data in a configured downlink allocation and starts or restarts drx-HARQ-RTT-TimerDL. ● drx-HARQ-RTT-TimerUL: The minimum duration before a MAC entity expects to receive a UL HARQ retransmission grant. The terminal device starts or restarts drx-HARQ-RTT-TimerUL when it transmits a MAC protocol data unit (PDU) on a configured uplink grant, or when it receives a PDCCH indicating a UL transmission. ●drx-RetransmissionTimerSL: Maximum duration until a grant is received for SL retransmission. ●drx-HARQ-RTT-TimerSL: Minimum duration before a grant for an SL retransmission is expected to be received.
[0191] Compared to R15, the R16 standard protocol adds the functionality of DRX groups and DCI (DCI with CRC scrambled by PS-RNTI, DCP) to unicast DRX, which includes CRC scrambled by a power-saving radio network temporary identifier (PS-RNTI).
[0192] The following is a brief explanation of the DRX group and DCP.
[0193] DRX Groups: Within a single MAC entity, different DRX groups are distinguished for different frequency ranges. In other words, DRX groups are distinguished for frequency range (FR) 1 and FR2. That is, the concept of secondary DRX groups is introduced for cells within FR2.
[0194] For each cell / DRX group within FR1, there is a separate set of parameters: drx-onDurationTimer and drx-InactivityTimer. Similarly, for each cell / DRX group within FR2, there is a separate set of parameters: drx-onDurationTimer and drx-InactivityTimer. Other DRX parameters are common to all.
[0195] Each DRX group executes one DRX. That is, a MAC entity may have two DRX groups, and two DRXs will be executed.
[0196] If a DRX group is configured, the active time of the DRX group may include one or more of the following: the operating time of the DRX group's drx-onDurationTimer; the operating time of the DRX group's drx-InactivityTimer; the operating time of the drx-RetransmissionTimerDL corresponding to the DRX group (or any cell within the DRX group); the operating time of the drx-RetransmissionTimerUL corresponding to the DRX group (or any cell within the DRX group); the operating time of the drx-RetransmissionTimerSL corresponding to the DRX group (or any cell within the DRX group); the operating time of the drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM corresponding to the multicast corresponding to the DRX group; the time while a scheduling request SR is sent on the PUCCH and the SR is waiting to be processed; the time while a PDCCH indicating a new transmission, scrambled by using C-RNTI, has not been received after a successful reception of an RAR in a non-contradiction-based random access process (i.e., after a successful non-contradiction-based RA), etc.
[0197] DCP: When a network device configures DCP functionality for a terminal device, the terminal device monitors the DCI, including the CRC scrambled by PS-RNTI, before the drx-onDurationTimer is started, to determine whether the drx-onDurationTimer should be started, thereby further reducing the terminal device's power consumption.
[0198] For example, when DCP functionality is configured for a terminal device, the terminal device may decide whether to start drx-onDurationTimer based on several of the following methods:
[0199] Method 1: If a network device sets ps-wakeup for a terminal device and the terminal device does not detect scrambled DCI by using PS-RNTI, the terminal device may start drx-onDurationTimer.
[0200] Method 2: If the network device does not configure ps-wakeup for the terminal device, and the terminal device detects the scrambled DCI using PS-RNTI, and the DCI instructs the terminal device to wake up, the terminal device starts drx-onDurationTimer.
[0201] (2) Multicast DRX:
[0202] Multicast DRX and unicast DRX are independent, and multicast DRX parameters can be per group RNTI (G-RNTI) and / or group configured scheduling RNTI (G-CS-RNTI), with multicast DRX being performed for each G-RNTI and / or G-CS-RNTI.
[0203] The active time of each multicast DRX may include one or more of the following, which are specific to G-RNTI or G-CS-RNTI: drx-onDurationTimerPTM, drx-InactivityTimerPTM, or drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM.
[0204] The multicast DRX functionality may be described below:
[0205] Network devices control multicast DRX operation by setting the following parameters using RRC messages: ● drx-onDurationTimerPTM: The period at the start of the DRX cycle. The position where drx-onDurationTimerPTM starts is calculated based on parameters set by the base station and an expression specified by the protocol. ● drx-InactivityTimerPTM: The period after a PDCCH occasion where a new DL transmission scheduling is indicated. The terminal device receives a PDCCH indicating that there is a new uplink or downlink transmission (i.e., scheduling of a new transmission) and starts or resumes drx-InactivityTimerPTM. ● drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM: The maximum duration until a DR retransmission is received. If drx-HARQ-RTT-TimerDL-PTM elapses and decoding of data fails, drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM is started. ● drx-HARQ-RTT-TimerDL-PTM: The minimum duration before a DL retransmission is expected to be received, the minimum duration before an expected DL retransmission, or the minimum duration before an expected DL retransmission is received. The terminal device receives a PDCCH indicating the existence of a downlink transmission, or the terminal device receives data in a set downlink allocation and starts or resumes drx-HARQ-RTT-TimerDL-PTM.
[0206] (3) CSI reporting: The following briefly describes the solutions for the terminal device to report CSI to the network device in R15 and R16.
[0207] In R15 (or, in other words, when DCP monitoring is not set and no DRX group is set), the solutions for the terminal device to report CSI based on unicast DRX include any one or more of the following: ● If symbol n is not within the active time of DRX, the terminal device skips transmitting semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and skips transmitting CSI on the terminal device's PUCCH; or ● If CSI masking is set for the terminal device and drx-onDurationTimer is not operating at symbol n, the terminal device skips transmitting CSI on PUCCH.
[0208] In R16 (or, in other words, when DCP monitoring is set), the solution for the terminal device to report CSI based on unicast DRX includes any one or more of the following: ● If DCP monitoring is set for the terminal device, symbol n is within the period of drx-onDurationTimer, drx-onDurationTimer within the current DRX cycle has not been started, and symbol n is not within the active time of DRX, the terminal device skips transmitting semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH; ● If DCP monitoring is set for the terminal device, symbol n is within the period of drx-onDurationTimer, drx-onDurationTimer within the current DRX cycle has not been started, symbol n is not within the active time of DRX, and ps-TransmitPeriodicL1-RSRP is not set to true for the terminal device, the fact that ps-TransmitPeriodicL1-RSRP is true indicates that the terminal device needs to report periodic CSI that is L1-RSRP in this case, and the terminal device skips transmitting periodic CSI that is L1-RSRP on PUCCH; ● If DCP monitoring is configured for the terminal device, and symbol n is within the duration of drx-onDurationTimer, and drx-onDurationTimer has not started within the current DRX period, and symbol n is not within the DRX active time, and ps-TransmitOtherPeriodicCSI is not configured to be true for the terminal device, then ps-TransmitOtherPeriodicCSI being true indicates that the terminal device should report a periodic CSI that is not L1-RSRP in this case, and the terminal device will skip transmitting a periodic CSI that is not L1-RSRP on PUCCH; ●If DCP monitoring is not configured for the terminal device and symbol n is not within the duration of the drx-onDurationTimer, or if the drx-onDurationTimer has started within the current DRX period and symbol n is not within the DRX active time, the terminal device will skip sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH, and the terminal device will skip sending the CSI on PUCCH; ●If DCP monitoring is not configured for the terminal device and symbol n is not within the duration of the drx-onDurationTimer, or if the drx-onDurationTimer has started within the current DRX cycle, CSI masking is configured for the terminal device, and the drx-onDurationTimer is not active for symbol n, the terminal device will skip sending the CSI over PUCCH.
[0209] In R16 (or, in other words, when DCP monitoring is configured), other solutions for terminal devices to report CSI based on unicast DRX include one or more of the following: ● If symbol n is not present within the duration of drx-onDurationTimer, the terminal device will skip sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH within the DRX group, and the terminal device will skip sending the CSI on PUCCH within the DRX group; ●If CSI masking is configured for the terminal device and the drx-onDurationTimer in the DRX group is not active on symbol n, the terminal device will skip sending CSI over PUCCH within the DRX group.
[0210] Regarding DRX and CSI reporting, please refer to 3GPP TS 38.321: “NR; Medium Access Control (MAC); Protocol specification”. Further details are not provided here.
[0211] It is known that in R15 and R16, there is no solution for how terminal devices report CSI when multicast DRX is present, or in other words, when unicast DRX and multicast DRX coexist.
[0212] In scenarios where a multicast DRX is not configured for some or all of the multicast that a terminal device is receiving or participating in, based on prior art, if a unicast DRX is not active during the active time, or if neither a multicast DRX nor a unicast DRX is active during the active time, the terminal device will not report a CSI / SRS and will not be able to assist with base station scheduling. In scenarios where a multicast DRX is not configured for some or all of the multicast that a terminal device is receiving or participating in, how does the UE report a CSI to facilitate base station multicast scheduling?
[0213] Furthermore, if a separate multicast DRX is configured for multicast, how will the UE report the CSI?
[0214] In view of this, the embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method and communication apparatus for reporting CSI when unicast DRX and multicast DRX are present together.

[0230] It should be noted that under different conditions, “first CSI” and / or “the terminal device skips transmitting the first CSI in the first time” may be different or the same. This is not limited to the present invention.
[0231] Condition 1: The first time period does not belong to the active time of the first intermittent receiving DRX, and the first time period does not belong to the active time of the second DRX set.
[0232] The first DRX may be used to control the monitoring of control information specific to the terminal device.
[0233] It should be noted that the first DRX may alternatively be used to control the monitoring of control information that is not specific to the terminal device. This is not limited to the present invention.
[0234] For example, the first DRX includes the following RNTIs: cell RNTI (C-RNTI), cancellation indication RNTI (CI-RNTI), configured scheduling RNTI (CS-RNTI), interrupt RNTI (INT-RNTI), slot format indication RNTI (SFI-RNTI), semi-persistent CSI RNTI (SP-CSI-RNTI), transmit power control physical uplink control channel RNTI (PUCCH-RNTI, TPC-PUCCH-RNTI), transmit power control physical uplink shared channel RNTI (PUSCH-RNTI, TPC-PUSCH-RNTI), and transmit power control sounding reference signal RNTI. This may be for controlling the monitoring of control information specific to one or more of the following: signal-RNTI (TPC-SRS-RNTI), AI-RNTI, sidelink RNTI (SL-RNTI), sidelink configured scheduling RNTI (SLCS-RNTI), or sidelink semi-persistent scheduling V2X RNTI (SL semi-persistent scheduling V-RNTI).
[0235] For example, the first DRX may be a unicast DRX or a group of DRXs (e.g., a single group of DRXs).
[0236] For example, the active time of the first DRX may include one or more of the following: the operating time of an on-duration timer corresponding to a unicast (e.g., drx-onDurationTimer); the operating time of an inactivity timer corresponding to a unicast (e.g., drx-InactivityTimer); or the operating time of a retransmission timer corresponding to a unicast.
[0237] For example, the operating time of a retransmission timer corresponding to unicast may include one or more of the following: downlink retransmission timers (e.g., drx-RetransmissionTimerDL), uplink retransmission timers (e.g., drx-RetransmissionTimerUL), or sidelink retransmission timers (e.g., drx-RetransmissionTimerSL).
[0238] For example, an on-lifetime timer / on-lifetime timer that corresponds to unicast indicates the duration for which a terminal device waits after being woken up to receive control information (e.g., DCI).
[0239] For example, a unicast-compatible idle timer indicates a period after the control information scheduling a new transmission or a period after the new transmission data.
[0240] For example, a retransmission timer for unicast indicates the duration for which the communication device receives retransmission data / DCI and / or retransmission resources.
[0241] For example, a downlink retransmission timer for unicast indicates the duration for which a communication device receives downlink retransmission data / DCI and / or downlink retransmission resources.
[0242] For example, an uplink retransmission timer for unicast indicates the duration for which a communication device receives uplink retransmission data / DCI and / or uplink retransmission resources.
[0243] For example, a unicast-compatible sidelink retransmission timer indicates the duration for which a communication device receives sidelink retransmission data / DCI and / or sidelink retransmission resources.
[0244] Optionally, the active time of the first DRX may further include the operating time of a multicast-compatible retransmission timer (e.g., drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM).
[0245] For example, the active time of the first DRX may include one or more of the following: the operating time of the on-duration timer (e.g., drx-onDurationTimer) corresponding to the DRX group; the operating time of the inactivity timer (e.g., drx-InactivityTimer) corresponding to the DRX group; or the operating time of the retransmission timer corresponding to the DRX group.
[0246] Optionally, the active time of the first DRX may further include the operating time of a multicast-compatible retransmission timer (e.g., drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM) corresponding to the DRX group.
[0247] For example, a multicast-compatible retransmission timer indicates the duration for which a communication device receives multicast-compatible retransmission data / DCI and / or retransmission resources.
[0248] It should be noted that the active time of the first DRX may include other periods of time, and this is not limited to the present invention. For example, see 3GPP TS 38.321: “NR; Medium Access Control (MAC); Protocol specification” for details on the content of the active time of the first DRX.
[0249] The second DRX set may include at least one multicast DRX, at least one multicast DRX may include a first multicast DRX, the first multicast DRX may be for controlling the monitoring of control information relating to the first multicast service.
[0250] For example, the second DRX set may include DRXs corresponding to multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or DRXs corresponding to multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0251] For example, the second DRX set may include DRXs corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or DRXs corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0252] For example, the second DRX set may be associated with the first multicast service set, and the first multicast service set may include the first multicast service.
[0253] For example, the first multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0254] For example, the first multicast service set may include any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0255] For example, the first multicast service may be understood as a multicast service associated with the first G-RNTI and / or the first G-CS-RNTI, or a multicast service associated with the first G-RNTI and / or the first G-CS-RNTI.
[0256] For example, control information relating to the first multicast service may include, or be understood to include, control information associated with (or scrambled with) the first G-RNTI and / or the first G-CS-RNTI, and / or control information scrambled with a unicast RNTI (e.g., C-RNTI and / or CS-RNTI).
[0257] It should be noted that the first multicast DRX may alternatively be used to control the monitoring of other control information. This is not limited to the present invention.
[0258] For example, the active time of a multicast DRX may include one or more of the following: the operating time of an on-duration timer (e.g., drx-onDurationTimerPTM) corresponding to multicast (e.g., G-RNTI and / or G-CS-RNTI); the operating time of an inactivity timer (e.g., drx-InactivityTimerPTM) corresponding to multicast (e.g., G-RNTI and / or G-CS-RNTI); or a retransmission timer (e.g., drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM) corresponding to multicast (e.g., G-RNTI and / or G-CS-RNTI).
[0259] For example, a multicast-compatible on-lifetime timer indicates the duration for which a terminal device waits after being woken up to receive control information (e.g., DCI).
[0260] For example, a multicast-compatible idle timer indicates a period after control information scheduling a new transmission or a period after new transmission data.
[0261] For example, the active time of the first DRX may include one or more of the following: the operating time of an on-duration timer (e.g., drx-onDurationTimerPTM) corresponding to the first multicast service (or the first G-RNTI and / or the first G-CS-RNTI); the operating time of an inactivity timer (e.g., drx-InactivityTimerPTM) corresponding to the first multicast service (or the first G-RNTI and / or the first G-CS-RNTI); or the operating time of a retransmission timer (e.g., drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM) corresponding to the first multicast service (or the first G-RNTI and / or the first G-CS-RNTI).
[0262] For example, the active time of the second DRX set may include one or more of the following: the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the first multicast service set, the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the first multicast service set, or the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the second DRX set.
[0263] For example, the active time of the second DRX set may include one or more of the operating times of the following drx-onDurationTimerPTM, drx-InactivityTimerPTM, or drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM, which are specific to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the second DRX set.
[0264] The active time of the second DRX set / multicast DRX / first multicast DRX may further include other time, but is not limited herein.
[0265] Optionally, a pre-set condition includes condition 1, and "the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour" may include, for the first cell set, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour.
[0266] The first cell set contains at least one cell and is associated with the first DRX.
[0267] For example, the first DRX is a DRX group (e.g., the first DRX group). The first cell set is the cell set corresponding to the DRX group (e.g., the first DRX group).
[0268] It should be noted that "For the first cell set, the terminal device skips transmitting the first CSI in the first hour" may be understood as including / being one of the following: the terminal device skips transmitting a CSI (e.g., the first CSI) within the first cell set in the first hour, or the terminal device skips transmitting a CSI (e.g., the first CSI) specific to the first cell set in the first hour.
[0269] It should be noted that if a terminal device "skips transmitting a CSI (e.g., a first CSI) within the first cell set in the first hour," it is not limited in this application whether the terminal device transmits a CSI specific to the first cell set within other cells or cell groups.
[0270] It should be noted that when "a terminal device transmits a CSI specific to the first cell set (e.g., the first CSI) in the first time," the present application does not limit whether the terminal device transmits CSIs specific to other cells or cell sets within the first cell set.
[0271] In the statement regarding “For the first cell set, the terminal device skips transmitting the first CSI in the first hour,” it should be noted that “first cell set” may be understood as including / substituting for / the first DRX. For example, “for the first cell set” may be understood as including / the first DRX. For example, “specific to the first cell set” may be understood as including / the first DRX.
[0272] Optionally, the first cell set includes the second cell set.
[0273] For example, the second cell set is either a subset of the first cell set, or the second cell set is equal to the first cell set.
[0274] The second cell set is associated with the second DRX set, and the second cell set contains at least one cell.
[0275] It can be understood that the second DRX set is associated with the first DRX.
[0276] For example, the second DRX set may include DRXs that are received by terminal devices and correspond to multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX, DRXs that terminal devices participate in and correspond to multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX, or DRXs that correspond to multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX.
[0277] For example, the second DRX set may include a DRX received by a terminal device and corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX, a DRX in which a terminal device participates and corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX, or a DRX corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX.
[0278] For example, the first multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices and associated with the first cell set / first DRX, multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate and are associated with the first cell set / first DRX, or multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX.
[0279] For example, the first multicast service set may include any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by a terminal device and associated with the first cell set / first DRX, any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services that a terminal device participates in and associated with the first cell set / first DRX, or any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX.
[0280] For example, the second DRX set may include / include a multicast DRX set associated with the first DRX, or a multicast DRX set corresponding to a multicast service set associated with the first cell set.
[0281] For example, a terminal device includes / possesses two DRXs, where the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1. If the first time is not within the active time of the first DRX group or the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI for the first DRX group / first cell set during the first time. The first DRX is the first DRX group, the second DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second cell set is cell 1.
[0282] For example, a terminal device includes / possesses two DRXs, where the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. If the first time is not within the active time of the first DRX group, nor within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, nor the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI for the first DRX group / first cell set during the first time. The first DRX is the first DRX group, the second DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second cell set is cell 1 and cell 2.
[0283] For example, a terminal device includes / possesses two DRXs, where the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2, and the terminal device receives multicast 4 in cell 4.
[0284] In some embodiments, whether the first time falls within the active time of the first DRX can be determined by the terminal device.
[0285] Optionally, the fact that the first time does not fall within the active time of the first DRX includes the terminal device determining that the first time does not fall within the active time of the first DRX.
[0286] Optionally, a terminal device may determine that the first time does not belong to the active time of the first DRX, which may include:

[0295] For example, the first lifespan may be a parameter set by the network device, calculated based on an expression or algorithm, or defined by a protocol. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application. For example, the first lifespan may be 4 ms.
[0296] In some embodiments, whether the first time falls within the active time of the second DRX set can be determined by the terminal device.
[0297] Optionally, the fact that the first time does not belong to the active time of the second DRX set includes the terminal device determining that the first time does not belong to the active time of the second DRX set.

[0301] It should be noted that the DRX command MAC CE associated with unicast and the DRX command MAC CE associated with multicast may be the same or different. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application.
[0302] In this embodiment of the present application, multicast-related allocations may include allocations / data received in a unicast manner (e.g., through scheduling of DCIs scrambled by using C-RNTI or CS-RNTI) and / or allocations / data received in a multicast manner (e.g., through scheduling of DCIs scrambled by using G-RNTI or G-CS-RNTI).
[0303] The third term is determined based on the first term and the second term of existence.
[0304] For example, the interval between the third hour and the first hour is the third duration, and the third hour is before the first hour.
[0305] Similarly, the second lifespan may be a parameter set by the network device, calculated based on an expression or algorithm, or defined by a protocol. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application. For example, the second lifespan is 4 ms.
[0306] It should be noted that the third and second hours may be the same or different. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application.
[0307] It should be noted that the second term and the first term may be the same or different. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application.
[0308] In other embodiments, optionally, the first time not belonging to the active time of the first DRX and the first time not belonging to the active time of the second DRX set includes the terminal device determining that the first time does not belong to the active time of the first DRX and the first time does not belong to the active time of the second DRX set.
[0309] Optionally, a terminal device may determine that the first time period does not belong to the active time period of the first DRX, and that the first time period does not belong to the active time period of the second DRX set, which may include:
[0310] (1) A terminal device may determine that the first hour does not belong to the active time of the first DRX, and that the first hour does not belong to the active time of the second DRX set, based on or considering one or more grants, assignments, DRX command MAC CEs, long DRX command MAC CEs, multicast-related DRX command MAC CEs, or multicast-related long DRX command MAC CEs received in the fifth hour and / or before the fifth hour, and / or based on or considering scheduling requests sent in the fifth hour and / or before the fifth hour; and / or (2) A terminal device may determine that the first hour does not belong to the active time of the first DRX, and that the first hour does not belong to the active time of the second DRX set, based on or considering one or more grants, allocations, DRX command MAC CEs, long DRX command MAC CEs, multicast-related DRX command MAC CEs, or multicast-related long DRX command MAC CEs received in the fifth hour and / or before the fifth hour, and based on or considering scheduling requests sent in the fifth hour and / or before the fifth hour. Herein, the received grants and allocations may be grants and allocations received in the first cell set or the second cell set.

[0315] Optionally, scheduling requests may include scheduling requests related to unicast.
[0316] The fifth hour is determined based on the first hour and the fourth term of life.
[0317] For example, the interval between the fifth hour and the first hour is the fourth duration, and the fifth hour is before the first hour.
[0318] It should be understood that the fourth duration may be a parameter set by the network device, may be calculated based on a formula or algorithm, or may be defined by a protocol. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application. For example, the fourth duration may be 4 ms.
[0319] Optionally, pre-set conditions include condition 1, and the first CSI may be / may include / be replaced with the second CSI.

[0324] For example, if condition 1 is satisfied, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI or the second CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0325] For example, if symbol n is not present within the active time of either a unicast DRX or a multicast DRX, the terminal device will skip sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUSCH and / or skip sending the CSI on the PUSCH.
[0326] For example, if symbol n is not present within the active time of the DRX group or within the active time of the multicast DRX associated with the DRX group, the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH to or within the DRX group, and / or the terminal device will skip sending a CSI on PUSCH.

[0338] It should be understood that "the first timer being started or restarted" is not limited to the first timer still being operational during the first hour. For example, the first timer may or may not still be operational during the first hour.
[0339] For example, if conditions 1 and 5 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or second CSI in the first time.
[0340] For example, if conditions 1 and 5 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI or the second CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0341] For example, if DCP is not configured for the terminal device and symbol n is not within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the unicast, or if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the unicast is started or restarted and symbol n is not within the active time of either the unicast DRX or the multicast DRX, the terminal device will skip sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending the CSI on PUCCH.

[0353] For example, if conditions 1 and 6 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or third CSI in the first time.
[0354] For example, if conditions 1 and 6 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or third CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0355] For example, if DCP is configured for a terminal device, and symbol n is within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the unicast, and the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the unicast is not started or restarted, and symbol n is neither within the active time of the unicast DRX nor the active time of the multicast DRX, then the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending a CSI / periodic CSI on PUSCH.

[0361] "Reporting a periodic CSI that is L1-RSRP or a CSI that is L1-RSRP" means the following: If the first timer is not started or restarted, report a periodic CSI that is L1-RSRP or a CSI that is L1-RSRP. When / if condition 6 is satisfied, report a periodic CSI that is L1-RSRP or a CSI that is L1-RSRP, or When conditions 1 and 6 are met, report a periodic CSI that is L1-RSRP or a CSI that is L1-RSRP. [0370] For example, if the terminal device does not acquire the fourth piece of information, under conditions 1 and 6, the terminal device will skip sending a periodic CSI that is not L1-RSRP on PUCCH at the first time.
[0371] For example, if conditions 1 and 7 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or third CSI in the first time.
[0372] For example, if conditions 1 and 7 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first or third CSI in the first hour for the first cell set.
[0373] For example, if conditions 1, 6, and 7 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or third CSI in the first time.
[0374] For example, if conditions 1, 6, and 7 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first or third CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0375] For example, if DCP is configured for a terminal device, and symbol n is within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, and the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not started or restarted, and symbol n is neither within the active time of unicast DRX nor multicast DRX, then the terminal device will: The terminal device skips sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUSCH. If a terminal device is not configured to report periodic CSIs that are L1-RSRP or CSIs that are L1-RSRP, the terminal device may skip sending periodic CSIs that are L1-RSRP on PUCCH, or If a terminal device is not configured to report periodic CSIs that are not L1-RSRP or non-L1-RSRP CSIs, the terminal device shall skip sending periodic CSIs that are not L1-RSRP on PUCCH. Perform one or more of the following actions.
[0376] For example, if DCP is configured for a terminal device, and symbol n is within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, and the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not started or restarted, and symbol n is neither within the active time of the DRX group nor the active time of multicast DRX, then for or within the DRX group, the terminal device will: The terminal device skips sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUSCH.
[0377] Condition 2: The first time period does not belong to the active time of the first DRX, and the first time period belongs to the active time of the third DRX set.
[0378] The third DRX set includes at least one multicast DRX, and at least one multicast DRX includes a second multicast DRX, the second multicast DRX being for controlling the monitoring of control information related to the second multicast service.
[0379] For example, the third DRX set may include DRXs corresponding to multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or DRXs corresponding to multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0380] For example, the third DRX set may be associated with the second multicast service set, and the second multicast service set may include the second multicast service.
[0381] For example, the second multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0382] For example, the second multicast service may be understood as a multicast service associated with the second G-RNTI and / or the second G-CS-RNTI, or as a multicast service associated with the second G-RNTI and / or the second G-CS-RNTI.
[0383] For example, control information relating to a second multicast service may include / be understood to include control information associated with (or scrambled by) a second G-RNTI and / or a second G-CS-RNTI, and / or control information scrambled by using a unicast RNTI (e.g., C-RNTI and / or CS-RNTI).
[0384] It should be noted that the second multicast DRX may alternatively be used to control the monitoring of other control information. This is not limited to the present invention.
[0385] For example, the active time of the second multicast DRX may include one or more of the following: the operating time of the on-duration timer (e.g., drx-onDurationTimerPTM) corresponding to the second multicast service (or the second G-RNTI and / or the second G-CS-RNTI); the operating time of the inactivity timer (e.g., drx-InactivityTimerPTM) corresponding to the second multicast service (or the second G-RNTI and / or the second G-CS-RNTI); or the operating time of the retransmission timer (e.g., drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM) corresponding to the second multicast service (or the second G-RNTI and / or the second G-CS-RNTI).
[0386] For example, the active time of the third DRX set may include one or more of the following: the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the second multicast service set, the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the second multicast service set, or the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the third DRX set.
[0387] For example, the active time of the third DRX set may include one or more of the operating times of the following drx-onDurationTimerPTM, drx-InactivityTimerPTM, or drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM, which are specific to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the third DRX set.
[0388] It should be noted that the active time of the third DRX set may include other time periods, and this is not limited to the present invention.
[0389] Optionally, pre-set conditions include condition 2, "The terminal device transmits the first CSI at the first time." SkipThis may include, for the third cell set, the terminal device skipping the transmission of the first CSI in the first hour.
[0390] The third cell set contains at least one cell, and the third cell set is not associated with the third DRX set.
[0391] It should be noted that "Skipping the transmission of the first CSI in the first hour for the third cell set" may include / be understood to include either: the terminal device skipping the transmission of a CSI (e.g., the first CSI) within the third cell set in the first hour, or the terminal device skipping the transmission of a CSI (e.g., the first CSI) specific to the third cell set in the first hour.
[0392] It should be noted that if a terminal device skips transmitting a CSI (e.g., a first CSI) within the third cell set in the first hour, it is not limited in this application whether the terminal device transmits a CSI specific to the third cell set in other cells or cell groups.
[0393] It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to whether the terminal device transmits other cell or cell set-specific CSIs within the third cell set if it skips transmitting a CSI specific to the third cell set (e.g., the first CSI) in the first time.
[0394] For example, the sixth cell set is associated with the third DRX set or the second multicast service set.
[0395] The sixth cell set contains at least one cell
[0396] The fact that the third cell set is not associated with the third DRX set can be understood as the third cell set not being associated with the second multicast service set.
[0397] For example, the third cell set may be understood as / may include cells / cell sets other than those associated with the second multicast service set, or cells / cell sets other than the sixth cell set.
[0398] For example, a terminal device contains / has three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1. If the first time is not within the active time of the unicast but within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI for cells 2 and 3 at the first time. The first DRX is a unicast DRX, the third DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the third cell set is cells 2 and 3, and the sixth cell set is cell 1.
[0399] Optionally, the third cell set is associated with the first DRX.
[0400] For example, the association of a third cell set with a first DRX can be understood as the cells in the third cell set using the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters relating to the first DRX) and the reception of control information for the cells in the third cell set being controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the first DRX).
[0401] Optionally, the sixth cell set is associated with the first DRX.
[0402] For example, the association of the sixth cell set with the first DRX can be understood as the cells in the sixth cell set using the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters relating to the first DRX) and the reception of control information for the cells in the sixth cell set being controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the first DRX).
[0403] Optionally, the first cell set includes the third cell set.
[0404] For example, the third cell set is either a subset of the first cell set, or the third cell set is equal to the first cell set.
[0405] For example, the first cell set includes the sixth cell set.
[0406] For example, the sixth cell set is either a subset of the first cell set, or the sixth cell set is equal to the first cell set.
[0407] Optionally, the first cell set includes the third and sixth cell sets.
[0408] For example, the third and sixth cell sets are equal to the first cell set.
[0409] For example, the third cell set and the sixth cell set do not have a common subset.
[0410] For example, the third DRX set may include a DRX that is received by a terminal device and corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first DRX, a DRX that a terminal device joins and corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first DRX, or a DRX that corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first DRX.
[0411] For example, the second multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices and associated with the first cell set / first DRX, multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate and are associated with the first cell set / first DRX, or multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX.
[0412] For example, a terminal device includes / has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1. If the first time is not within the active time of the first DRX group but is within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI at the first time for cells other than cell 1 in the first cell set (i.e., cell 2 and cell 3). The first DRX is the first DRX group, the third DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, the third cell set is cell 2 and cell 3, and the sixth cell set is cell 1.
[0413] For example, a terminal device includes / has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. If the first time is not within the active time of the first DRX group, but within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for all cells in the first cell set except both cell 1 and cell 2 (i.e., cell 3). The first DRX is the first DRX group, the third DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, the third cell set is cell 3, and the sixth cell set is cell 1 and cell 2.
[0414] For example, a terminal device includes / has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, multicast 2 in cell 2, and multicast 4 in cell 4.
[0415] In some embodiments, whether the first time falls within the active time of the third DRX set can be determined by the terminal device.
[0416] Optionally, the first time being within the active time of the third DRX set includes the terminal device determining that the first time is within the active time of the third DRX set.
[0417] Optionally, a terminal device determining that the first time period belongs to the active time period of the third DRX set may include the following:
[0418] (1) The terminal device determines that the first hour belongs to the active time of the third DRX set based on or considering one or more of the following: assignments received in and / or before the fourth hour (e.g., assignments related to received multicast), DRX command MAC CE related to multicast, or long DRX command MAC CE related to multicast; and / or, (2) A terminal device may determine that the first hour does not belong to the active time of the second DRX set based on or considering one or more of the following: an assignment received in the fourth hour and / or before the fourth hour (e.g., an assignment related to received multicast), a DRX command MAC CE related to multicast, or a long DRX command MAC CE related to multicast, wherein the received assignment (e.g., an assignment related to received multicast) may be an assignment received in the sixth cell set or the first cell set, and / or an assignment received related to the second multicast service set; optionally, the DRX command MAC CE related to multicast may be a DRX command MAC CE related to multicast received in the sixth cell set or the first cell set, and / or a DRX command MAC CE related to the second multicast service set; optionally, the long DRX command MAC CE related to multicast may be a long DRX command MAC CE related to multicast received in the sixth cell set or the first cell set, and / or a long DRX command MAC CE related to the second multicast service set.
[0419] The fourth hour is determined based on the first hour and the third term of life.
[0420] For example, the interval between the fourth hour and the first hour is the third duration, and the fourth hour is before the first hour.
[0421] Similarly, the third duration may be a parameter set by the network device, calculated based on a formula or algorithm, or defined by a protocol. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application. For example, the third duration is 4 ms.
[0422] It should be noted that the fourth and second hours may be the same or different. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application.
[0423] It should be noted that the third term and the first term may be the same or different. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application.
[0424] Optionally, whether the first time does not belong to the active time of the first DRX and whether the first time belongs to the active time of the third DRX set includes the terminal device deciding whether the first time does not belong to the active time of the first DRX and whether the first time belongs to the active time of the third DRX set.
[0425] Optionally, a terminal device may determine that the first time does not belong to the active time of the first DRX, and that the first time belongs to the active time of the third DRX set, which may include:
[0426] (1) A terminal device may determine that the first hour does not belong to the active time of the first DRX, and that the first hour belongs to the active time of the third DRX set, based on or considering one or more grants, assignments, DRX command MAC CEs, long DRX command MAC CEs, multicast-related DRX command MAC CEs, or multicast-related long DRX command MAC CEs received in the sixth hour and / or before the sixth hour, and / or based on or considering scheduling requests sent in the sixth hour and / or before the sixth hour; and / or (2) A terminal device may determine that the first hour does not belong to the active time of the first DRX, and that the first hour does not belong to the active time of the third DRX set, based on or considering one or more grants, allocations, DRX command MAC CEs, long DRX command MAC CEs, multicast-related DRX command MAC CEs, or multicast-related long DRX command MAC CEs received in the sixth hour and / or before the sixth hour, and based on or considering scheduling requests sent in the sixth hour and / or before the sixth hour. Herein, the received grants and allocations may be grants and allocations received in the first cell set or the sixth cell set.
[0427] Optionally, grants include grants associated with unicasts.
[0428] Optionally, the allocation may include unicast-related allocations and / or multicast-related allocations.
[0429] Optionally, DRX command MAC CE includes DRX command MAC CE related to unicast.
[0430] Optionally, a long DRX command MAC CE includes a long DRX command MAC CE associated with unicast.
[0431] Optionally, scheduling requests may include scheduling requests related to unicast.
[0432] The sixth hour is determined based on the first hour and the fifth term of life.
[0433] For example, the interval between the 6th hour and the 1st hour is the 5th duration, and the 6th hour is before the 1st hour.
[0434] It should be understood that the fifth term of life may be a parameter set by the network device, may be calculated based on an expression or algorithm, or may be defined by a protocol. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application. For example, the fifth term of life may be 4 ms.
[0435] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 2, and the first CSI may be / may include / be replaced with the fourth CSI.
[0436] The 4th CSI is as follows: Semi-persistent CSI, periodic CSI, CSI configured on the physical uplink shared channel PUSCH, Semi-persistent CSI set on PUSCH, CSI configured on the physical uplink control channel PUCCH, Periodic CSI set on PUCCH, or Semi-persistent CSI configured on PUCCH It may include one or more of the following.
[0437] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 2, and "the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour" may be replaced with / may include / may include / may include / may include / may be replaced with "the terminal device skips sending the fourth CSI in the first hour."
[0438] Optionally, a terminal device may skip sending the 4th CSI in the first hour, as follows: The terminal device skips sending semi-persistent CSIs. The terminal device skips sending periodic CSIs. The terminal device skips sending the CSI configured on the PUSCH. The terminal device skips sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUSCH. The terminal device skips sending the CSI configured on the PUCCH. The terminal device skips sending the periodic CSI configured on the PUCCH. The terminal device skips sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUCCH. The terminal device skips sending CSI over PUCCH. The terminal device skips sending periodic CSIs on PUCCH. The terminal device skips sending semi-persistent CSIs on PUCCH. The terminal device skips sending CSI over PUSCH. The terminal device skips sending semi-persistent CSIs on PUSCH. It may include one or more of the following.
[0439] For example, if condition 2 is met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or fourth CSI in the first hour.
[0440] For example, if condition 2 is satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first or fourth CSI in the first hour for the third cell set.
[0441] For example, if symbol n is not within the active time of a unicast DRX but is within the active time of a multicast DRX, the terminal device will skip sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUSCH and / or skip sending the CSI on the PUSCH for cells or cell sets other than the multicast-associated cells (e.g., multicast-associated cells where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX).
[0442] For example, if symbol n is not within the active time of the DRX group but is within the active time of the multicast DRX associated with the DRX group, then for cells or cell sets other than the multicast-associated cells within the DRX group (e.g., the multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX), or for cells or cell sets other than the multicast-associated cells within the DRX group (e.g., the multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX), the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending a CSI on PUSCH.
[0443] Optionally, the third cell set is not associated with the fifth multicast service set.
[0444] The fifth multicast service set includes at least one multicast service, and at least one multicast service includes the ninth multicast service.
[0445] Multicast DRX is not configured for the 9th multicast service.
[0446] For example, the fifth multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0447] For example, the fifth multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices and without multicast DRX configured, multicast / multicast services to which terminal devices participate and without multicast DRX configured, or multicast / multicast services without multicast DRX configured.
[0448] For example, the fifth multicast service set may include any one or more / all multicast / multicast services received by a terminal device and for which multicast DRX is not configured, or any one or more / all multicast / multicast services to which a terminal device participates and for which multicast DRX is not configured.
[0449] For example, the 12th cell set is associated with the 5th multicast service set.
[0450] The 12th cell set contains at least one cell.
[0451] For example, the fact that the third cell set is not associated with the fifth multicast service set can be understood as the third cell set not being associated with the twelfth cell set.
[0452] For example, the third cell set may be understood as / may include cells / cell sets other than those associated with the fifth multicast service set, or cells / cell sets other than the twelfth cell set.
[0453] It should be noted that condition 2 may be replaced by the fact that the first time does not fall within the active time of the first DRX. In other words, it is not necessary for the first time to fall within the active time of the third DRX set. For example, if there is a fifth multicast service set / twelfth cell set, condition 2 may be that the first time does not fall within the active time of the first DRX. In this way, the UE can report a CSI for / in the case of a cell corresponding to multicast where no DRX is configured.
[0454] For example, a terminal device contains / has three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If the first time is neither within the active time of the unicast DRX nor within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI for cells 3 and 1 at the first time. The first DRX is a unicast DRX, the third DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the third cell set is cell 3 and cell 1, and the twelfth cell set is cell 2.
[0455] For example, a terminal device contains / has three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If the first time is not within the active time of the unicast DRX but is within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI for cell 3 at the first time. The first DRX is a unicast DRX, the third DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the third cell set is cell 3, the sixth cell set is cell 1, and the twelfth cell set is cell 2.
[0456] For example, if symbol n is not present within the active time of the unicast DRX, the terminal device will skip sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending the CSI on the PUSCH for any cell or cell set other than the multicast associated cell for which a multicast DRX is not configured.
[0457] For example, if symbol n is not within the active time of a unicast DRX but is within the active time of a multicast DRX in which the terminal device participates, the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending a CSI on PUSCH for any cell or set of cells other than those associated with multicast (e.g., a multicast associated with a cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and those associated with multicast where no multicast DRX is configured.
[0458] Optionally, the 5th multicast service set / 12th cell set is associated with the 1st DRX / 1st cell set.
[0459] For example, the fifth multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services that are received by terminal devices and associated with the first cell set / first DRX, and for which multicast DRX is not configured; multicast / multicast services that terminal devices participate in and are associated with the first cell set / first DRX, and for which multicast DRX is not configured; or multicast / multicast services that are associated with the first cell set / first DRX, and for which multicast DRX is not configured.
[0460] For example, the fifth multicast service set may include any one or more / all multicast / multicast services received by a terminal device and associated with the first cell set / first DRX, for which multicast DRX is not configured; any one or more / all multicast / multicast services in which a terminal device participates and is associated with the first cell set / first DRX, for which multicast DRX is not configured; or any one or more / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX, for which multicast DRX is not configured.
[0461] For example, the association of the 5th multicast service set / 12th cell set with the 1st DRX / 1st cell set can be understood as the cells included in the 12th cell set using the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters related to the 1st DRX), and the reception of control information for the cells included in the 12th cell set being controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the 1st DRX).
[0462] Optionally, the first cell set includes the twelfth cell set.
[0463] For example, the 12th cell set is either a subset of the 1st cell set, or the 12th cell set is equal to the 1st cell set.
[0464] Optionally, the first cell set includes the third cell set and the twelfth cell set.
[0465] For example, the third and twelfth cell sets are equal to the first cell set.
[0466] For example, the third cell set and the twelfth cell set do not have a common subset.
[0467] For example, if symbol n is not present within the DRX group's active time, the terminal device will skip sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending the CSI on the PUSCH for any cell or cell set other than the multicast associated cell for which multicast DRX is not configured within the DRX group.
[0468] Optionally, the first cell set includes the third cell set, the sixth cell set, and the twelfth cell set. Alternatively, the first cell set may include the third cell set and the union of the sixth and twelfth cell sets.
[0469] For example, the third cell set, the sixth cell set, and the twelfth cell set are equal to the first cell set.
[0470] For example, the third cell set and the twelfth cell set do not have a common subset.
[0471] For example, the union of the third cell set and the sixth and twelfth cell sets has no intersection.
[0472] It should be noted that the 6th cell set and the 12th cell set may or may not have a common subset. This is not limited to the present application.
[0473] It should be noted that the sixth cell set and the twelfth cell set may be the same or different. This is not limited to the present application.
[0474] For example, if symbol n is not within the active time of the DRX group, but the terminal device is within the active time of the multicast DRX that it has joined and is associated with the DRX group, the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUSCH and / or skip sending a CSI on the PUSCH for cells or sets of cells other than the multicast-associated cells (e.g., the multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and the multicast-associated cells where the multicast DRX is not configured within the DRX group. For example, a terminal device has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, i.e., cells 1, 2, and 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, i.e., cells 4, 5, and 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1 and multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If the first time is neither within the active time of the first DRX group nor within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, then for cells in the first cell set other than cell 2 (i.e., cell 3 and cell 1), the terminal device skips sending the first CSI during the first time. The first DRX is the first DRX group, the third DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, the third cell set is cell 3 and cell 1, and the twelfth cell set is cell 2.
[0475] For example, a terminal device has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1 and multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If the first time is not within the active time of the first DRX group but is within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI at the first time for all cells in the first cell set except both cell 1 and cell 2 (i.e., cell 3). The first DRX is the first DRX group, the third DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, the third cell set is cell 3, the sixth cell set is cell 1, and the twelfth cell set is cell 2.
[0476] For example, a terminal device has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, multicast 2 in cell 2, and multicast 4 in cell 4. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If the first time is not within the active time of the first DRX group but within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for cells other than cell 1 in the first cell set (i.e., cell 2 and cell 3). The first DRX is the first DRX group, the third DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, the third cell set is cell 2 and cell 3, the sixth cell set is cell 1, and the twelfth cell set is cell 1.
[0477] For example, for cell sets or cells other than the third cell set (e.g., the sixth cell set and / or the twelfth cell set), the terminal device may transmit the first CSI or CSI in the first hour. For example, within a cell or cell set associated with the fifth multicast service set, the terminal device may transmit the first CSI in the first hour. Alternatively, within a cell or cell set associated with the ninth multicast service, the terminal device may transmit the first CSI in the first hour.
[0478] In this embodiment of the present invention, if a multicast DRC is not set up in a multicast in which the terminal device participates, the terminal device may report a CSI, thereby allowing the base station to obtain the CSI, which helps the base station perform multicast scheduling.
[0479] Optionally, a pre-set condition may include condition 2, and a pre-set condition may further include condition 5.
[0480] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 2, and method 400 of the present application may further include that condition 5 is satisfied.
[0481] For example, if conditions 2 and 5 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or fourth CSI in the first time.
[0482] For example, if conditions 2 and 5 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or fourth CSI in the first hour for the third cell set.
[0483] For example, if DCP is not configured for a terminal device and symbol n is not within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, or if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is started or restarted and symbol n is not within the active time of the unicast DRX but is within the active time of the multicast DRX, then for cells or sets of cells other than one or both of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., multicast-associated cells where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells for which a multicast DRX is not configured, the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending a CSI on PUSCH.
[0484] For example, if DCP is not set for the terminal device, and symbol n is not within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the unicast, or if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the unicast is started or restarted, and symbol n is not within the active time of the DRX group but is within the active time of the multicast DRX associated with the DRX group, then for cells or sets of cells other than one or both of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., multicast-associated cells where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells for which no multicast DRX is set within the DRX group, the terminal device skips sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device skips sending a CSI on PUSCH. Optionally, the pre-set conditions include condition 2, and the first CSI may / may / may / may / may be the fifth CSI.
[0485] The 5th CSI is as follows: Semi-persistent CSI, CSI configured on PUSCH, Semi-persistent CSI configured on PUCCH, The Layer 1 reference signal received power L1-RSRP is CSI, CSI that is not L1-RSRP, L1-RSRP is a periodic CSI, Periodic CSI that is not L1-RSRP, CSI, which is configured on PUCCH and is L1-RSRP, A CSI configured on PUCCH that is not L1-RSRP, A periodic CSI configured on PUCCH and being L1-RSRP, or Periodic CSI configured on PUCCH and not L1-RSRP It may include one or more of the following.
[0486] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 2, and "the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour" may be replaced with / may include / may include / may include / may include / may be replaced with "the terminal device skips sending the fifth CSI in the first hour."
[0487] Optionally, a terminal device may skip sending the 5th CSI in the first hour, as follows: The terminal device skips sending semi-persistent CSIs. The terminal device skips sending the CSI configured on the PUSCH. The terminal device skips sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUCCH. The terminal device is configured on PUCCH and skips sending CSIs that are not L1-RSRP. The terminal device skips sending periodic CSIs that are configured on PUCCH and are L1-RSRP. The terminal device is configured on PUCCH and skips sending periodic CSIs that are not L1-RSRP. The terminal device skips sending the CSI, which is L1-RSRP, on PUCCH. The terminal device skips sending non-L1-RSRP CSIs on PUCCH. The terminal device skips sending periodic CSIs, which are L1-RSRP, on PUCCH, or The terminal device skips sending periodic CSIs that are not L1-RSRP on PUCCH. It may include one or more of the following.
[0488] Optionally, a pre-set condition may include condition 2, and a pre-set condition may further include condition 6.
[0489] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 2, and the method of this application may further include that condition 6 is satisfied.
[0490] For example, if conditions 2 and 6 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or fifth CSI in the first hour.
[0491] For example, if conditions 2 and 6 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or fifth CSI in the first hour for the third cell set.
[0492] For example, if DCP is configured for a terminal device, and symbol n is within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, and the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not started or restarted, and symbol n is not within the active time of the unicast DRX but is within the active time of the multicast DRX, then for cells or sets of cells other than one or both of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., multicast-associated cells where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells for which a multicast DRX is not configured, the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending a CSI / periodic CSI on PUSCH.
[0493] For example, if DCP is set for a terminal device, and symbol n is within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, and the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not started or restarted, and symbol n is not within the active time of the DRX group but is within the active time of the multicast DRX, then for cells or cell sets other than one or both of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., a multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells where a multicast DRX is not set in the DRX group, or for cells or cell sets other than one or both of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., a multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells where a multicast DRX is not set in the DRX group, the terminal device skips sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device skips sending a CSI / periodic CSI on PUSCH. Optionally, the pre-set conditions include condition 1, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 7.
[0494] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 2, and the method of this application may further include that condition 7 is satisfied.
[0495] For example, if conditions 2 and 7 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or fifth CSI in the first hour.
[0496] For example, if conditions 2 and 7 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first or fifth CSI in the first hour for the third cell set.
[0497] For example, if conditions 2, 6, and 7 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or fifth CSI in the first time.
[0498] For example, if conditions 2, 6, and 7 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first or fifth CSI in the first hour for the third cell set.
[0499] For example, if DCP is configured for a terminal device, and symbol n is within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, and the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not started or restarted, and symbol n is not within the active time of the unicast DRX but is within the active time of the multicast DRX, then for cells or cell sets other than one or both of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., multicast-associated cells where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells for which a multicast DRX is not configured, the terminal device will: The terminal device skips sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUSCH.
[0500] For example, if DCP is configured for a terminal device, and symbol n is within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, and the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not started or restarted, and symbol n is neither within the active time of the DRX group nor the active time of the multicast DRX, then for cells or cell sets other than one or both of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., multicast-associated cells where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells where a multicast DRX is not configured within the DRX group, or for cells or cell sets other than one or both of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., multicast-associated cells where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells where a multicast DRX is not configured within the DRX group, the terminal device will: The terminal device skips sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on the PUSCH.
[0501] Condition 3: Neither the first timer nor the second timer is operating during the first hour.
[0502] While the first timer is running, the terminal device monitors control information specific to the terminal device.
[0503] It should be noted that while the first timer is operating, the terminal device may alternatively monitor control information that is not specific to the terminal device. This is not limited to the present invention.
[0504] For example, while the first timer is operating, a terminal device may monitor scrambled control information by using one or more of the following RNTIs: C-RNTI, CI-RNTI, CS-RNTI, INT-RNTI, SFI-RNTI, SP-CSI-RNTI, TPC-PUCCH-RNTI, TPC-PUSCH-RNTI, TPC-SRS-RNTI, AI-RNTI, SL-RNTI, SLCS-RNTI, or SL Semi-Persistent Scheduling V-RNTI.
[0505] For example, the first timer may be associated with the first DRX.
[0506] For example, the first timer can be associated with a unicast.
[0507] For example, the first timer may be an on-duration timer (e.g., drx-onDurationTimer), an on-duration timer for a unicast DRX (e.g., drx-onDurationTimer), or an on-duration timer for a group of DRXs (e.g., drx-onDurationTimer).
[0508] For example, an ON lifetime timer indicates the time a terminal device waits after being woken up to receive control information (e.g., DCI).
[0509] The second timer set includes at least one multicast timer, and at least one multicast timer includes a third multicast timer, and while the third multicast timer is operating, the terminal device monitors control information regarding the third multicast service.
[0510] For example, the multicast timer may be an on-duration timer corresponding to multicast (e.g., drx-onDurationTimerPTM) or an on-duration timer related to multicast DRX (e.g., drx-onDurationTimerPTM).
[0511] For example, the second timer set may include a multicast timer corresponding to a multicast / multicast service received by the terminal device, or a multicast timer corresponding to a multicast / multicast service in which the terminal device participates.
[0512] For example, the second timer set may include multicast timers corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or multicast timers corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0513] For example, the second timer set may be associated with the third multicast service set, and the third multicast service set may include the third multicast service.
[0514] For example, the third multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0515] For example, the third multicast service set may include any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0516] For example, the third multicast service may be understood as a multicast service associated with the third G-RNTI and / or the third G-CS-RNTI, or as a multicast associated with the third G-RNTI and / or the third G-CS-RNTI.
[0517] For example, control information relating to a third multicast service may include / be understood to include control information associated with (or scrambled by using) a third G-RNTI and / or a third G-CS-RNTI, and / or control information scrambled by using a unicast RNTI (e.g., C-RNTI and / or CS-RNTI).
[0518] It should be noted that while the third multicast timer is operating, terminal devices may alternatively monitor other control information. This is not limited to the present invention.
[0519] For example, the third multicast timer may be a timer for the third multicast service, a drx-onDurationTimerPTM for the third multicast service, a timer for the third G-RNTI and / or the third G-CS-RNTI, or a drx-onDurationTimerPTM for the third G-RNTI and / or the third G-CS-RNTI.
[0520] Optionally, pre-set conditions include condition 3, and "the terminal device skips transmitting the first CSI in the first hour" may include, for the first cell set, the terminal device skips transmitting the first CSI in the first hour.
[0521] The first cell set includes at least one cell and is associated with the first DRX or the first timer.
[0522] For example, the first timer is an on-duration timer (e.g., drx-onDurationTimer) corresponding to a DRX group (e.g., the first DRX group).
[0523] It should be understood that the relevant description regarding "the terminal device skipping the transmission of the first CSI in the first hour for the first cell set" should be referred to above. For brevity, further details are not provided again.
[0524] Optionally, the first cell set includes the fourth cell set.
[0525] For example, the fourth cell set is either a subset of the first cell set, or the fourth cell set is equal to the first cell set.
[0526] The fourth cell set is associated with the second timer set, and the fourth cell set contains at least one cell.
[0527] It can be understood that the second timer set is associated with the first timer.
[0528] For example, the second timer set may include a multicast timer that is received by a terminal device and corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX, a multicast timer that the terminal device participates in and corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX, or a multicast timer that corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX.
[0529] For example, the second timer set may include a multicast timer received by a terminal device and corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX, a multicast timer in which the terminal device participates and corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX, or a multicast timer corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX.
[0530] For example, the third multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices and associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX, multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate and are associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX, or multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX.
[0531] For example, the third multicast service set may include any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by a terminal device and associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX, any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which a terminal device participates and associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX, or any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first timer / first DRX.
[0532] For example, the second timer set is a multicast timer set associated with the first timer or the first DRX, or a multicast timer set corresponding to a multicast service set associated with the first cell set.
[0533] For example, a terminal device contains / possesses two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1. If neither the timer for the first DRX group nor the timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 is operating in the first hour, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for the first DRX group / first cell set. The first timer is the timer for the first DRX group, the second timer set is the timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the fourth cell set is cell 1.
[0534] For example, a terminal device has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. If the timers of the first DRX group, the multicast DRX timers corresponding to multicast 1, and the multicast DRX timers corresponding to multicast 2 are not operating in the first hour, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for the first DRX group / first cell set. The first timer is the timer of the first DRX group, the second timer set is the multicast DRX timers corresponding to multicast 1 and multicast DRX timers corresponding to multicast 2, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the fourth cell set is cell 1 and cell 2.
[0535] For example, a terminal device has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, multicast 2 in cell 2, and multicast 4 in cell 4. If the timers for the first DRX group, the multicast DRX timers corresponding to multicast 1, and the multicast DRX timers corresponding to multicast 2 are not operating in the first hour, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for the first DRX group / first cell set. The first timer is the timer for the first DRX group, the second timer set is the multicast DRX timers corresponding to multicast 1 and multicast DRX timers corresponding to multicast 2, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the fourth cell set is cell 1 and cell 2.
[0536] In some embodiments, whether the first timer is operating during the first time can be determined by the terminal device.
[0537] Optionally, the fact that the first timer is not operating may include the terminal device determining that the first timer is not operating.

[0544] Optionally, scheduling requests may include scheduling requests related to unicast.
[0545] The seventh hour is determined based on the first hour and the sixth term of existence.

[0550] The determination by a terminal device that the second timer set is not activated may include the following:
[0551] (1) A terminal device may determine that the second timer set is not activated based on or by considering one or more of the following: an assignment received in the eighth hour and / or before the eighth hour (e.g., an assignment related to multicast received), a multicast-related DRX command MAC CE, or a multicast-related long DRX command MAC CE; and / or (2) A terminal device may determine that the second timer set is not activated based on or by considering one or more of the following: an assignment received in the eighth hour and / or before the eighth hour (e.g., an assignment related to received multicast), a DRX command MAC CE related to multicast, or a long DRX command MAC CE related to multicast, wherein the received assignment (e.g., an assignment related to received multicast) may be an assignment received in the fourth cell set or the first cell set and / or an assignment received related to the third multicast service set; optionally, the DRX command MAC CE related to multicast may be a DRX command MAC CE related to multicast received in the fourth cell set and / or a DRX command MAC CE related to the third multicast service set; optionally, the long DRX command MAC CE related to multicast may be a long DRX command MAC CE related to multicast received in the fourth cell set and / or a long DRX command MAC CE related to the third multicast service set.
[0552] The eighth hour is determined based on the first hour and the seventh term of existence.
[0553] For example, the interval between the 8th hour and the 1st hour is the 7th duration, and the 8th hour is before the 1st hour.
[0554] It should be understood that the seventh term of life may be a parameter set by the network device, may be calculated based on a formula or algorithm, or may be defined by a protocol. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application. For example, the seventh term of life may be 4 ms.
[0555] In other embodiments, the terminal device determining that neither the first timer nor the second timer set is operating during the first time period may include the following:

[0557] Optionally, grants include grants associated with unicasts.
[0558] Optionally, the allocation may include unicast-related allocations and / or multicast-related allocations.
[0559] Optionally, DRX command MAC CE includes DRX command MAC CE related to unicast.

[0561] Optionally, scheduling requests may include scheduling requests related to unicast.
[0562] The ninth hour is determined based on the first hour and the eighth term of life.
[0563] For example, the interval between the 9th hour and the 1st hour is the 8th duration, and the 9th hour is before the 1st hour.
[0564] For example, the eighth term of life may be a parameter set by the network device, calculated based on a formula or algorithm, or defined by a protocol. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application. For example, the eighth term of life may be 4 ms.
[0565] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 3, and the first CSI may be / may include / be replaced with the sixth CSI.

[0580] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 3, and method 400 of the present application may further include that condition 8 is satisfied.
[0581] Condition 8 may include the terminal device acquiring the first information.
[0582] The first piece of information is as follows: The terminal device should transmit a CSI while a unicast timer (e.g., the first timer) is operating and / or while a multicast timer is operating. Terminal devices should be restricted to transmitting CSIs while a unicast timer (e.g., the first timer) is operating and / or while a multicast timer is operating, or The terminal device should only transmit CSI while a unicast timer (e.g., the first timer) is active and / or while a multicast timer is active. It may indicate one or more of the following.
[0583] For example, a unicast timer may include an on-duration timer corresponding to a unicast (e.g., drx-onDurationTimer) and / or an on-duration timer corresponding to a DRX group (e.g., drx-onDurationTimer).
[0584] "Sending a CSI while a unicast timer (e.g., the first timer) is operating and / or while a multicast timer is operating" may be understood to include / be understood to include one or more of the following: sending a CSI on PUCCH while a unicast timer (e.g., the first timer) is operating and / or while a multicast timer is operating.
[0585] For example, the first information may be transmitted by a network device. For example, a network device may transmit the first information to a terminal device by using an RRC message.
[0586] For example, the first information may be CSI mask information (also called CSI masking information or CSI-masking information). The CSI mask information may instruct the terminal device to transmit CSI while the drx-onDurationTimer is running and / or while the drx-onDurationTimerPTM is running.
[0587] Therefore, if a terminal device obtains the first information, it will skip sending a CSI during the active time outside of the operating period of the unicast timer and / or the operating period of the multicast timer, or at any time outside of the operating period of the unicast timer and / or the operating period of the multicast timer, or it will skip sending a CSI on the PUCCH.
[0588] It should be noted that "the terminal device acquires the first information" may include / may be replaced by "the CSI mask is set for the terminal device."
[0589] It should be noted that "the terminal device does not acquire the first information" may include / may be replaced with "the CSI mask is not set for the terminal device."
[0590] For example, if conditions 3 and 8 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or sixth CSI in the first hour.
[0591] For example, if conditions 3 and 8 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI or the sixth CSI in the first hour for the first cell set.
[0592] For example, if CSI masking is configured for a terminal device and neither the on-lifetime timer for unicast nor the on-lifetime timer for multicast is active on symbol n, the terminal device will skip sending a CSI over PUCCH.
[0593] For example, if CSI masking is set for a terminal device, and neither the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the DRX group nor the on-lifetime timer corresponding to multicast associated with the DRX group is active on symbol n, then the terminal device will skip sending CSI over PUCCH for or within the DRX group.
[0594] For example, if conditions 3, 5, and 8 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or sixth CSI in the first time.
[0595] For example, if conditions 3, 5, and 8 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first or sixth CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0596] For example, if DCP is not set for the terminal device, symbol n is not within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, or if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast has been started or restarted, CSI masking is set for the terminal device, and neither the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast nor the on-lifetime timer corresponding to multicast is active for symbol n, the terminal device will skip sending a CSI over PUCCH.
[0597] For example, if DCP is not set for the terminal device, and symbol n is not within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, or if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast has been started or restarted, CSI masking is set for the terminal device, and neither the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the DRX group nor the on-lifetime timer corresponding to multicast associated with the DRX group is active for symbol n, then the terminal device will skip sending a CSI over PUCCH for or within the DRX group.
[0598] Condition 4: Timer 1 is not operating during the first hour, but Timer 3 is operating.
[0599] The third timer set includes at least one multicast timer, and at least one multicast timer includes a fourth multicast timer, and while the fourth multicast timer is operating, the terminal device can monitor control information relating to the fourth multicast service.
[0600] For example, the third timer set may include a multicast timer corresponding to a multicast / multicast service received by the terminal device, or a multicast timer corresponding to a multicast / multicast service in which the terminal device participates.
[0601] For example, the third timer set may be associated with the fourth multicast service set, and the fourth multicast service set may include the fourth multicast service.
[0602] For example, the fourth multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0603] For example, the fourth multicast service may be understood as a multicast service associated with the fourth G-RNTI and / or the fourth G-CS-RNTI, or as a multicast service associated with the fourth G-RNTI and / or the fourth G-CS-RNTI.
[0604] For example, control information relating to a fourth multicast service may include / be understood to include control information associated with (or scrambled by using) a fourth G-RNTI and / or a fourth G-CS-RNTI, and / or control information scrambled by using a unicast RNTI (e.g., C-RNTI and / or CS-RNTI).
[0605] It should be noted that while the fourth multicast timer is operating, terminal devices may alternatively monitor other control information. This is not limited to the present invention.
[0606] For example, the fourth multicast timer may be a timer for the fourth multicast service, a drx-onDurationTimerPTM for the fourth multicast service, a timer for the fourth G-RNTI and / or the fourth G-CS-RNTI, or a drx-onDurationTimerPTM for the fourth G-RNTI and / or the fourth G-CS-RNTI.
[0607] Optionally, pre-set conditions include condition 4, "The terminal device transmits the first CSI at the first time." SkipThis may include, for the fifth cell set, the terminal device skipping the transmission of the first CSI in the first hour.
[0608] The fifth cell set contains at least one cell, and the fifth cell set is not associated with the third timer set.
[0609] "For the fifth cell set, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour" means the following: The terminal device skips sending a CSI (e.g., the first CSI) within the fifth cell set in the first hour, or The terminal device skips sending a CSI specific to the fifth cell set (e.g., the first CSI) during the first hour. It should be noted that it is acceptable to include / understand that any one of these is acceptable.
[0610] It should be noted that if a terminal device skips transmitting a CSI (e.g., a first CSI) within the fifth cell set in the first hour, it is not limited in this application whether the terminal device transmits a CSI specific to the fifth cell set within other cells or cell groups.
[0611] It should be noted that when "the terminal device transmits a CSI specific to the fifth cell set (e.g., the first CSI) in the first time," the present application does not limit whether the terminal device transmits CSIs specific to other cells or cell sets within the fifth cell set.
[0612] For example, the seventh cell set is associated with the third timer cell or the fourth multicast service set.
[0613] The seventh cell set contains at least one cell.
[0614] It should be understood that the fact that the fifth cell set is not associated with the third timer set can be understood as the fact that the fifth cell set is not associated with the fourth multiservice set.
[0615] For example, the fifth cell set may be understood as / may include cells / cell sets other than those associated with the fourth multicast service set, or cells / cell sets other than the seventh cell set.
[0616] For example, a terminal device contains / has three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1. In the first time, if the on-lifetime timer for unicast is not activated but the on-lifetime timer for multicast 1 is activated, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for cells 2 and 3. The first timer is the on-lifetime timer for unicast, the third timer set is the on-lifetime timer for multicast 1, the fifth cell set is cells 2 and 3, and the seventh cell set is cell 1.
[0617] Optionally, the fifth cell set is associated with the first timer or the first DRX.
[0618] For example, the association of a fifth cell set with a first timer or first DRX can be understood as the cells within the fifth cell set using the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters relating to the first timer or first DRX) and the reception of control information for the cells included in the fifth cell set being controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the first timer or first DRX).
[0619] Optionally, the seventh cell set is associated with the first DRX.
[0620] For example, the association of the seventh cell set with the first DRX can be understood as the cells in the seventh cell set using the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters relating to the first DRX) and the reception of control information for the cells in the seventh cell set being controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the first DRX).
[0621] Optionally, the first cell set includes the fifth cell set.
[0622] For example, the fifth cell set is either a subset of the first cell set, or the fifth cell set is equal to the first cell set.
[0623] For example, the first cell set includes the seventh cell set.
[0624] For example, the seventh cell set is either a subset of the first cell set, or the seventh cell set is equal to the first cell set.
[0625] Optionally, the first cell set includes the fifth and seventh cell sets.
[0626] For example, the 5th and 7th cell sets are equal to the 1st cell set.
[0627] For example, the fifth and seventh cell sets do not have a common subset.
[0628] For example, the third timer set may include a multicast timer that is received by a terminal device and corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first DRX / first timer, a multicast timer that the terminal device participates in and corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first DRX / first timer, or a multicast timer that corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first DRX / first timer.
[0629] For example, the fourth multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices and associated with the first cell set / first DRX / first timer, multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate and are associated with the first cell set / first DRX / first timer, or multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX / first timer.
[0630] For example, a terminal device contains / has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1. If, in the first hour, the on-lifetime timer for the first DRX group is not activated, but the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 is activated, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for cells other than cell 1 in the first cell set (i.e., cell 2 and cell 3). The first timer is the on-lifetime timer for the first DRX group, the third timer set is the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the fifth cell set is cell 2 and cell 3.
[0631] For example, a terminal device has / contains two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. In the first hour, if the on-lifetime timer for the first DRX group is not activated, but the on-lifetime timers for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2 are activated, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for all cells in the first cell set except for both cell 1 and cell 2 (i.e., cell 3). The first timer is the on-lifetime timer for the first DRX group, the third timer set is the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the fifth cell set is cell 3.
[0632] For example, a terminal device has / contains two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, multicast 2 in cell 2, and multicast 4 in cell 4. In the first hour, if the on-lifetime timer for the first DRX group is not activated, but the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 is activated, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for cells other than cell 1 in the first cell set (i.e., cell 2 and cell 3). The first timer is the on-lifetime timer for the first DRX group, the third timer set is the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the fifth cell set is cell 2 and cell 3.
[0633] In some embodiments, it can be determined by a terminal device that the third timer set is operating during the first hour.
[0634] Optionally, the activation of the third timer set includes the terminal device determining that the third timer set is activated.
[0635] The determination by a terminal device that the third timer set is active may include the following:
[0636] (1) The terminal device determines that the third timer set is operational based on or by considering one or more of the following: assignments received during and / or before the 10th hour (e.g., assignments related to received multicast), multicast-related DRX command MAC CE, or multicast-related long DRX command MAC CE; and / or (2) A terminal device may determine that the third timer set is operating based on or by considering one or more of the following: an assignment received in the 10th hour and / or before the 10th hour (e.g., an assignment related to received multicast), a DRX command MAC CE related to multicast, or a long DRX command MAC CE related to multicast, wherein the received assignment (e.g., an assignment related to received multicast) may be an assignment received in the 7th cell set or the 1st cell set and / or an assignment received related to the 4th multicast service set; optionally, the DRX command MAC CE related to multicast may be a DRX command MAC CE related to multicast received in the 7th cell set or the 1st cell set and / or a DRX command MAC CE related to the 4th multicast service set; optionally, the long DRX command MAC CE related to multicast may be a long DRX command MAC CE related to multicast received in the 7th cell set or the 1st cell set and / or a long DRX command MAC CE related to the 4th multicast service set.
[0637] The 10th hour is determined based on the 1st hour and the 9th term of life.
[0638] For example, the interval between the 10th hour and the 1st hour is the 9th duration, and the 10th hour is before the 1st hour.
[0639] It should be understood that the tenth lifespan may be a parameter set by the network device, may be calculated based on a formula or algorithm, or may be defined by a protocol. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application. For example, the tenth lifespan is 4 ms.
[0640] Optionally, the fact that the first timer is not operating during the first hour but the third timer set is operating includes the terminal device determining that the first timer is not operating but the third timer set is operating.
[0641] The determination by a terminal device that the first timer is not operating but the third timer set is operating may include the following:
[0642] (1) A terminal device may determine that the first timer is not operating but the third timer set is operating based on or by considering one or more grants, assignments, DRX command MAC CEs, long DRX command MAC CEs, multicast-related DRX command MAC CEs, or multicast-related long DRX command MAC CEs received in the 11th hour and / or before the 11th hour, and / or based on or by considering scheduling requests sent in the 11th hour and / or before the 11th hour; and / or (2) A terminal device may determine that the first timer is not operating but the third timer set is operating, based on or considering one or more grants, assignments, DRX command MAC CEs, long DRX command MAC CEs, multicast-related DRX command MAC CEs, or multicast-related long DRX command MAC CEs received in the 11th hour and / or before the 11th hour, and based on or considering scheduling requests sent in the 11th hour and / or before the 11th hour, wherein the received grants and assignments may be grants and assignments received in the first cell set or the seventh cell set.
[0643] Optionally, grants include grants associated with unicasts.
[0644] Optionally, the allocation may include unicast-related allocations and / or multicast-related allocations.
[0645] Optionally, DRX command MAC CE includes DRX command MAC CE related to unicast.
[0646] Optionally, a long DRX command MAC CE includes a long DRX command MAC CE associated with unicast.
[0647] Optionally, scheduling requests may include scheduling requests related to unicast.
[0648] The 11th hour is determined based on the 1st hour and the 10th term of life.
[0649] For example, the interval between the 11th hour and the 1st hour is the 10th duration, and the 11th hour is before the 1st hour.
[0650] It should be understood that the tenth lifespan may be a parameter set by the network device, may be calculated based on a formula or algorithm, or may be defined by a protocol. This is not limited to this embodiment of the present application. For example, the tenth lifespan is 4 ms.
[0651] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 4, and the first CSI may be / may include / be replaced with the seventh CSI.
[0652] The 7th CSI is as follows: Semi-persistent CSI, periodic CSI, CSI configured on the physical uplink shared channel PUSCH, Semi-persistent CSI set on PUSCH, CSI configured on the physical uplink control channel PUCCH, Periodic CSI set on PUCCH, or Semi-persistent CSI configured on PUCCH It may include one or more of the following.
[0653] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 4, and "the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour" may be replaced with / may include / may include / may include / may include / may be replaced with "the terminal device skips sending the seventh CSI in the first hour."
[0654] Optionally, a terminal device may skip sending the 7th CSI in the first hour, as follows: The terminal device skips sending semi-persistent CSIs.
[0655] For example, if condition 4 is satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first or seventh CSI in the first hour.
[0656] For example, if condition 4 is satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first or seventh CSI in the first hour for the fifth cell set.
[0657] For example, if the on-lifetime timer for unicast is not active for symbol n, but the on-lifetime timer for multicast is active, the terminal device will skip sending a CSI over PUCCH for cells or cell sets other than the multicast-associated cell (for example, a multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX).
[0658] For example, if, in symbol n, the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the DRX group is not active, but the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the multicast associated with the DRX group is active, then for cells or cell sets within the DRX group other than the multicast-associated cell (e.g., the multicast-associated cell in which symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX), or within cells or cell sets other than the multicast-associated cell in the DRX group (e.g., the multicast-associated cell in which symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX), the terminal device will skip sending a CSI over PUCCH.
[0659] Optionally, the fifth cell set is not associated with the seventh multicast service set.
[0660] The seventh multicast service set includes at least one multicast service, and at least one multicast service includes the eleventh multicast service.
[0661] Multicast DRX is not configured for the 11th multicast service.
[0662] For example, the seventh multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0663] Multicast services received by a terminal device may be understood to include / are received by / are received by / are received by / the terminal device, and / or multicast services from which the terminal device obtains / are configured settings for the multicast service.
[0664] For example, the seventh multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices and without multicast DRX configured, multicast / multicast services to which terminal devices participate and without multicast DRX configured, or multicast / multicast services without multicast DRX configured.
[0665] For example, the seventh multicast service set may include any one or more / all multicast / multicast services received by a terminal device and for which multicast DRX is not configured, or any one or more / all multicast / multicast services to which a terminal device participates and for which multicast DRX is not configured.
[0666] For example, the 13th cell set is associated with the 7th multicast service set.
[0667] The 13th cell set contains at least one cell.
[0668] For example, the fact that the 5th cell set is not associated with the 7th multicast service set can be understood as the 5th cell set not being associated with the 13th cell set.
[0669] For example, the fifth cell set may be understood as / may include cells / cell sets other than those associated with the seventh multicast service set, or cells / cell sets other than the thirteenth cell set.
[0670] It should be noted that condition 4 may be replaced by the fact that the first timer is not operating. That is, The third timer set is active. This is not mandatory. For example, if there is a 7th multicast service set / 13th cell set, condition 4 may be that the 1st timer is not operating. In this way, the UE can report a CSI for / in a cell corresponding to multicast where DRX is not configured.
[0671] For example, a terminal device contains / has three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. In the first hour, if the on-lifetime timer of the first DRX is not activated, and the on-lifetime timer of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 is also not activated, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for cells 3 and 1. The first DRX is a unicast DRX, the third timer set is the on-lifetime timer of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the fifth cell set is cell 3 and cell 1, and the thirteenth cell set is cell 2.
[0672] For example, a terminal device contains / has three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. In the first hour, if the on-lifetime timer for the first DRX is not activated, but the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 is activated, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI for cell 3 in the first hour. The first DRX is a unicast DRX, the third timer is the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the fifth cell set is cell 3, the seventh cell set is cell 1, and the thirteenth cell set is cell 2.
[0673] For example, if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not operating on symbol n, the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH for any cell or cell set other than the multicast associated cell for which a multicast DRX is not configured, and / or the terminal device will skip sending a CSI on PUSCH.
[0674] For example, if, in symbol n, the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not active, but the on-lifetime timer corresponding to multicast in which the terminal device participates is active, then for cells or sets of cells other than those associated with multicast (e.g., cells associated with multicast where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and cells associated with multicast where no multicast DRX is configured, the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending a CSI on PUSCH.
[0675] Optionally, the 7th multicast service set / 13th cell set is associated with the 1st DRX / 1st cell set.
[0676] For example, the seventh multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services that are received by terminal devices and associated with the first cell set / first DRX, and for which multicast DRX is not configured; multicast / multicast services that terminal devices participate in and are associated with the first cell set / first DRX, and for which multicast DRX is not configured; or multicast / multicast services that are associated with the first cell set / first DRX, and for which multicast DRX is not configured.
[0677] For example, the seventh multicast service set may include any one or more / all multicast / multicast services that are received by a terminal device and associated with the first cell set / first DRX and do not have a multicast DRX configured; any one or more / all multicast / multicast services that a terminal device participates in and is associated with the first cell set / first DRX and do not have a multicast DRX configured; or any one or more / all multicast / multicast services that are associated with the first cell set / first DRX and do not have a multicast DRX configured.
[0678] For example, the association of the 7th multicast service set / 13th cell set with the 1st DRX / 1st cell set can be understood as the cells included in the 13th cell set using the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters related to the 1st DRX), and the reception of control information for the cells included in the 13th cell set being controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the 1st DRX).
[0679] Optionally, the first cell set includes the thirteenth cell set.
[0680] For example, the 13th cell set is either a subset of the 1st cell set, or the 13th cell set is equal to the 1st cell set.
[0681] Optionally, the first cell set includes the fifth and thirteenth cell sets.
[0682] For example, the 5th and 13th cell sets are equal to the 1st cell set.
[0683] For example, the 5th cell set and the 13th cell set do not have a common subset.
[0684] For example, in symbol n, if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the DRX group is not active, but the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the multicast associated with the DRX group is active, the terminal device will skip sending CSIs on PUCCH for cells or cell sets other than those associated with multicast where multicast DRX is not configured within the DRX group.
[0685] Optionally, the first cell set includes the fifth cell set, the seventh cell set, and the thirteenth cell set. Alternatively, the first cell set may include the fifth cell set and the union of the seventh and thirteenth cell sets.
[0686] For example, the 5th cell set, the 7th cell set, and the 13th cell set are equal to the 1st cell set.
[0687] For example, the 5th cell set and the 13th cell set do not have a common subset.
[0688] For example, the union of the 5th cell set and the 7th and 13th cell sets has no intersection.
[0689] It should be noted that the 7th cell set and the 13th cell set may or may not have a common subset. This is not limited to the present application.
[0690] It should be noted that the seventh cell set and the thirteenth cell set may be the same or different. This is not limited to the present application.
[0691] For example, if, in symbol n, the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the DRX group is not active, but the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the multicast that the terminal device has joined and is associated with the DRX group is active, then for cells or sets of cells other than those associated with multicast (e.g., cells associated with multicast where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and cells associated with multicast where no multicast DRX is configured within the DRX group, the terminal device will skip sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending the CSI on PUSCH.
[0692] For example, a terminal device contains / possesses two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. Multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If, in the first hour, neither the on-lifetime timer for the first DRX group nor the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 is activated, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for cells other than cell 2 in the first cell set (i.e., cell 3 and cell 1). The first DRX is the first DRX group, the third timer set is the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, the fifth cell set is cell 3 and cell 1, and the thirteenth cell set is cell 2.
[0693] For example, a terminal device contains / possesses two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. Multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. In the first hour, if the on-lifetime timer for the first DRX group is not activated, but the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 is activated, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI in the first hour for all cells in the first cell set except for both cell 1 and cell 2 (i.e., cell 3). The first DRX is the first DRX group, the third timer set is the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, the fifth cell set is cell 3, the seventh cell set is cell 1, and the thirteenth cell set is cell 2.
[0694] For example, a terminal device contains / possesses two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, multicast 2 in cell 2, and multicast 4 in cell 4. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. In the first hour, if the on-lifetime timer for the first DRX group is not activated, but the on-lifetime timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 is activated, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI in the first hour for cells other than cell 1 in the first cell set (i.e., cell 2 and cell 3). The first DRX is the first DRX group, and the third timer set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1. ON duration timerThe first cell set consists of cells 1, 2, and 3, the fifth cell set consists of cells 2 and 3, the seventh cell set consists of cell 1, and the thirteenth cell set consists of cell 1.
[0695] For example, for cell sets or cells other than the 5th cell set (e.g., the 7th cell set and / or the 13th cell set), the terminal device may transmit the 1st CSI or CSI in the 1st hour. For example, within a cell or cell set associated with the 7th multicast service set, the terminal device may transmit the 1st CSI in the 1st hour. Alternatively, within a cell or cell set associated with the 11th multicast service, the terminal device may transmit the 1st CSI in the 1st hour.
[0696] In this embodiment of the present invention, if a multicast DRC is not set up in a multicast in which the terminal device participates, the terminal device may report a CSI, thereby allowing the base station to obtain the CSI, which helps the base station perform multicast scheduling.
[0697] Optionally, a pre-set condition may include condition 4, and a pre-set condition may further include condition 5.
[0698] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 4, and method 400 of the present application may further include that condition 5 is satisfied.
[0699] For example, if conditions 4 and 5 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or seventh CSI in the first hour.
[0700] For example, if conditions 4 and 5 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI or the seventh CSI in the first hour for the fifth cell set.
[0701] For example, if DCP is not set for the terminal device, and symbol n is not within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, or if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is started or restarted, and the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not activated for symbol n, but the on-lifetime timer corresponding to multicast is activated, then the terminal device will skip sending a CSI over PUCCH for any cell or set of cells other than one or both of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., a multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells for which a multicast DRX is not set.
[0702] For example, if DCP is not set for the terminal device, and symbol n is not within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, or if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast has been started or restarted, and for symbol n, the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the DRX group is not running, but the on-lifetime timer corresponding to multicast associated with the DRX group is running, then for cells or cell sets other than one or both of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., the multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or the multicast-associated cells where a multicast DRX is not set within the DRX group, or for cells or cell sets other than the multicast-associated cells (e.g., the multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or the multicast-associated cells where a multicast DRX is not set within the DRX group, the terminal device will skip sending a CSI over PUCCH.
[0703] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 4, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 8.
[0704] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 4, and method 400 of the present application may further include that condition 8 is satisfied.
[0705] For example, if conditions 4 and 8 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI or the seventh CSI in the first hour.
[0706] For example, if conditions 4 and 8 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first or seventh CSI in the first hour for the fifth cell set.
[0707] For example, if CSI masking is set for a terminal device, and for symbol n, the on-lifetime timer for unicast is not activated, but the on-lifetime timer for multicast is activated, the terminal device will skip sending CSI over PUCCH for all cells or cell sets except for both / one of the following: a multicast-associated cell (e.g., a multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or a multicast-associated cell for which a multicast DRX is not configured.
[0708] For example, if CSI masking is set for a terminal device, and for symbol n, the on-lifetime timer for unicast is not active, but the on-lifetime timer for multicast is active, then for cells or cell sets other than both / one of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., a multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells where a multicast DRX is not configured within the DRX group, or for cells or cell sets other than both / one of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., a multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells where a multicast DRX is not configured within the DRX group, the terminal device will skip sending the CSI over PUCCH.
[0709] For example, if conditions 4, 5, and 8 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or seventh CSI in the first hour.
[0710] For example, if conditions 4, 5, and 8 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first or seventh CSI in the first hour for the fifth cell set.
[0711] For example, if DCP is not set for the terminal device, and symbol n is not within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, or if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast has been started or restarted, and CSI masking is set for the terminal device, and for symbol n, the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not active, but the on-lifetime timer corresponding to multicast is active, then the terminal device will skip sending a CSI over PUCCH for any cell or cell set other than both / one of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., a multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells for which a multicast DRX is not set.
[0712] For example, if DCP is not set for the terminal device, and symbol n is not within the duration of the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast, or if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast has been started or restarted, CSI masking is set for the terminal device, and for symbol n, the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the DRX group is not active, but the on-lifetime timer corresponding to multicast associated with the DRX group is active, then for cells or cell sets other than both / one of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., a multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells where multicast DRX is not set within the DRX group, or for cells or cell sets other than both / one of the multicast-associated cells (e.g., a multicast-associated cell where symbol n is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and / or multicast-associated cells where multicast DRX is not set within the DRX group, the terminal device will skip sending a CSI over PUCCH.
[0713] Condition 10: The first timer is not operating during the first hour, and the first hour does not belong to the active time of the fourth DRX set.
[0714] The fourth DRX set includes at least one multicast DRX, at least one DRX includes the fourth multicast DRX, and the fourth multicast DRX is for controlling the monitoring of control information related to the fifth multicast service.
[0715] For example, the fourth DRX set may include DRXs corresponding to multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or DRXs corresponding to multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0716] For example, the fourth DRX set may include DRXs corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or DRXs corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0717] For example, the 4th DRX set may be associated with the 6th multicast service set, and the 6th multicast service set may include the 5th multicast service.
[0718] The sixth multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0719] For example, the sixth multicast service set may include any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0720] For example, the fifth multicast service may be understood as a multicast service associated with the fifth G-RNTI and / or the fifth G-CS-RNTI, or as multicast associated with the fifth G-RNTI and / or the fifth G-CS-RNTI.
[0721] The fourth multicast DRX may alternatively be used to control terminal devices to monitor other control information. It should be noted that this is not limited to the present invention.
[0722] For example, control information relating to the fifth multicast service may include / be understood to include control information associated with (or scrambled by using) the fifth G-RNTI and / or the fifth G-CS-RNTI, and / or control information scrambled by using a unicast RNTI (e.g., C-RNTI and / or CS-RNTI).
[0723] For example, the active time of the fourth multicast DRX may include one or more of the following: the operating time of the on-duration timer (e.g., drx-onDurationTimerPTM) corresponding to the fifth multicast service (or fifth G-RNTI and / or fifth G-CS-RNTI); the operating time of the inactivity timer (e.g., drx-InactivityTimerPTM) corresponding to the fifth multicast service (or fifth G-RNTI and / or fifth G-CS-RNTI); or the operating time of the retransmission timer (e.g., drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM) corresponding to the fifth multicast service (or fifth G-RNTI and / or fifth G-CS-RNTI).
[0724] For example, the active time of the 4th DRX set is: the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the 6th multicast service set, the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the 6th multicast service set, or the4 This may include one or more of the active times of the G-RNTI set corresponding to the DRX set and / or the DRX set corresponding to the G-CS-RNTI set.
[0725] For example, the active time of the fourth DRX set may include one or more of the operating times of the following drx-onDurationTimerPTM, drx-InactivityTimerPTM, or drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM, which are specific to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the fourth DRX set.
[0726] Optionally, a pre-set condition includes condition 10, where the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour, and for the first cell set, this includes the terminal device skipping sending the first CSI in the first hour.
[0727] Regarding the statement "For the first cell set, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI in the first hour," it should be understood that the relevant description above should be referenced. For brevity, further details will not be provided again.
[0728] Optionally, the first cell set includes the eighth cell set.
[0729] For example, the eighth cell set is either a subset of the first cell set, or the eighth cell set is equal to the first cell set.
[0730] The 8th cell set is associated with the 4th DRX set, and the 8th cell set contains at least one cell.
[0731] It may be understood that the 4th DRX set may be associated with the 1st DRX.
[0732] For example, the fourth DRX set may include a DRX that is received by a terminal device and corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first DRX, a DRX that a terminal device joins and corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first DRX, or a DRX that corresponds to a multicast / multicast service associated with the first cell set / first DRX.
[0733] For example, the fourth DRX set may include a DRX received by a terminal device and corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX, a DRX in which a terminal device participates and corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX, or a DRX corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX.
[0734] In some examples, the fourth DRX set may include / may include a multicast DRX set associated with the first DRX, or a multicast DRX set corresponding to a multicast service associated with the first cell set.
[0735] For example, a terminal device includes / possesses two DRXs, with the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1. If the timer of the first DRX group is not operating in the first hour, and the first hour is not within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for the first DRX group / first cell set. The first timer is the timer of the first DRX group, the fourth DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the eighth cell set is cell 1.
[0736] For example, a terminal device includes / possesses two DRXs, with the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. If the timer of the first DRX group is not operating in the first hour, and the first hour is not within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 or the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for the first DRX group / first cell set. The first timer is the timer of the first DRX group, the fourth DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the eighth cell set is cell 1 and cell 2.
[0737] For further information regarding the 4th DRX set, it should be understood that one should refer to the relevant information above for the 2nd DRX set. For brevity, further details will not be provided again.
[0738] In some embodiments, it can be determined by the terminal device that the first time does not belong to the active time of the fourth DRX set.
[0739] Optionally, the fact that the first time does not fall within the active time of the fourth DRX set includes the terminal device determining that the first time does not fall within the active time of the fourth DRX set.
[0740] For a specific explanation of how a terminal device determines that the first time does not belong to the active time of the fourth DRX set, it should be understood that one should refer to the relevant description of how a terminal device determines that the first time does not belong to the active time of the second DRX set.
[0741] In other embodiments, the fact that the first time does not belong to the active time of the first timer and the first time does not belong to the active time of the fourth DRX set includes the terminal device determining that the first time does not belong to the active time of the first timer and the first time does not belong to the active time of the fourth DRX set.
[0742] For the technical solution, it should be understood that the terminal device determines that the first time does not belong to the active time of the first timer, and that the first time does not belong to the active time of the fourth DRX set. For brevity, further details are omitted.
[0743] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 10, and the first CSI may be / may include / be replaced with the eighth CSI.
[0744] For information on the 8th CSI, please refer to the relevant description under the 2nd CSI.
[0745] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 10, and "the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour" may be replaced with / may include / may include / may include / may include / may include / may be "the terminal device skips sending the eighth CSI in the first hour."
[0746] It should be understood that the description of what is included in a terminal device skipping the transmission of the 8th CSI in the first hour should refer to the relevant description above regarding what is included in a terminal device skipping the transmission of the 2nd CSI in the first hour.
[0747] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 10, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 5.
[0748] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 10, and method 400 of the present application may further include that condition 5 is satisfied.
[0749] For example, if conditions 10 and 5 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first or eighth CSI in the first hour.
[0750] For example, if conditions 10 and 5 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI or the eighth CSI in the first hour for the first cell set.
[0751] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 10, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 6.
[0752] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 10, and the method of this application may further include that condition 6 is satisfied.
[0753] For example, if conditions 10 and 6 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI at the first time.
[0754] For example, if conditions 10 and 6 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0755] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 10, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 7.
[0756] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 10, and the method of this application may further include that condition 7 is satisfied.
[0757] For example, if conditions 10 and 7 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI at the first time.
[0758] For example, if conditions 10 and 7 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0759] For example, if conditions 10, 6, and 7 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI at the first time.
[0760] For example, if conditions 10, 6, and 7 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0761] Condition 11: The first timer is not operating during the first hour, and the first hour falls within the active time of the fifth DRX set.
[0762] The fifth DRX set includes at least one multicast DRX, and at least one multicast DRX includes the fifth multicast DRX, which controls the monitoring of control information related to the sixth multicast service.
[0763] For example, the fifth DRX set may include DRXs corresponding to multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or DRXs corresponding to multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0764] For example, the fifth DRX set may include DRXs corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or DRXs corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0765] For example, the 5th DRX set may be associated with the 7th multicast service set, and the 7th multicast service set may include the 6th multicast service.
[0766] For example, the seventh multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0767] For example, the 6th multicast service may be understood as a multicast service associated with the 6th G-RNTI and / or the 6th G-CS-RNTI, or as a multicast service associated with the 6th G-RNTI and / or the 6th G-CS-RNTI.
[0768] For example, control information relating to the sixth multicast service may include / be understood to include control information associated with (or scrambled by) the sixth G-RNTI and / or the sixth G-CS-RNTI, and / or control information scrambled by using a unicast RNTI (e.g., C-RNTI and / or CS-RNTI).
[0769] It should be noted that the fifth multicast DRX may alternatively be used to control the monitoring of other control information. This is not limited to the present invention.
[0770] For example, the active time of the fifth multicast DRX may include one or more of the following: the operating time of the on-duration timer (e.g., drx-onDurationTimerPTM) corresponding to the sixth multicast service (or the sixth G-RNTI and / or the fifth G-CS-RNTI); the operating time of the inactivity timer (e.g., drx-InactivityTimerPTM) corresponding to the sixth multicast service (or the sixth G-RNTI and / or the sixth G-CS-RNTI); or the operating time of the retransmission timer (e.g., drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM) corresponding to the second multicast service (or the sixth G-RNTI and / or the sixth G-CS-RNTI).
[0771] For example, the active time of the 5th DRX set may include one or more of the following: the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the 6th multicast service set, the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the 6th multicast service set, or the active time of the DRX set corresponding to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the 7th DRX set.
[0772] For example, the active time of the fifth DRX set may include one or more of the operating times of the following drx-onDurationTimerPTM, drx-InactivityTimerPTM, or drx-RetransmissionTimerDL-PTM, which are specific to the G-RNTI set and / or G-CS-RNTI set corresponding to the fifth DRX set.
[0773] It should be noted that the active time of the 5th DRX set may include other times, and this is not limited to the present invention.
[0774] Optionally, a pre-set condition including condition 11, where a terminal device skips transmitting the first CSI in the first hour, may include, for the ninth cell set, a terminal device skipping transmitting the first CSI in the first hour.
[0775] The 9th cell set contains at least one cell, and the 9th cell set is not associated with the 5th DRX set.
[0776] For example, the 14th cell set is associated with the 5th DRX set or the 7th multicast service set.
[0777] The 14th cell set contains at least one cell
[0778] The fact that the 9th cell set is not associated with the 5th DRX set can be understood as the 9th cell set not being associated with the 7th multicast service set.
[0779] For example, the 9th cell set may be understood as / may include cells / cell sets other than those associated with the 7th multicast service set, or cells / cell sets other than the 14th cell set.
[0780] Optionally, the 9th cell set is associated with the 1st DRX.
[0781] For example, the association of the 9th cell set with the 1st DRX can be understood as the cells in the 9th cell set using the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters relating to the 1st DRX) and the reception of control information for the cells in the 9th cell set being controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the 1st DRX).
[0782] Optionally, the 14th cell set is associated with the 1st DRX.
[0783] For example, the association of the 14th cell set with the 1st DRX can be understood as the cells contained in the 14th cell set using the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters relating to the 1st DRX), and the reception of control information for the cells contained in the 14th cell set being controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the 1st DRX).
[0784] Optionally, the first cell set includes the ninth cell set.
[0785] For example, the 9th cell set is either a subset of the 1st cell set, or the 9th cell set is equal to the 1st cell set.
[0786] In some embodiments, a terminal device includes / has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, i.e., cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, i.e., cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1. If the timer of the first DRX group is not operating in the first hour, but the first hour falls within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for cells other than cell 1 in the first cell set (i.e., cell 2 and cell 3). The first timer is the timer of the first DRX group, the fifth DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the ninth cell set is cell 2 and cell 3.
[0787] In some embodiments, a terminal device includes / has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, i.e., cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, i.e., cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. If the timer of the first DRX group is not operating in the first hour, but the first hour falls within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for all cells in the first cell set except both cell 1 and cell 2 (i.e., cell 3). The first timer is the timer of the first DRX group, the fifth DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the ninth cell set is cell 3.
[0788] Optionally, the 9th cell set is not associated with the 8th multicast service set.
[0789] The 11th multicast service set includes at least one multicast service, and at least one multicast service includes the 12th multicast service.
[0790] Multicast DRX is not configured for the 12th multicast service.
[0791] It should be understood that for the 12th multicast service, one should refer to the relevant description above for the 2nd multicast service.
[0792] For example, the 15th cell set is associated with the 8th multicast service set.
[0793] The 15th cell set contains at least one cell.
[0794] For example, the fact that the 9th cell set is not associated with the 8th multicast service set can be understood as the 9th cell set not being associated with the 15th cell set.
[0795] For example, the 9th cell set may be understood as / may include cells / cell sets other than those associated with the 8th multicast service set, or cells / cell sets other than the 15th cell set.
[0796] It should be noted that condition 11 may be replaced by the fact that the first timer is not operating during the first hour. That is, it is not necessary that the first hour falls within the active time of the fifth DRX set. For example, if there is an eighth multicast service set / fifteenth cell set, condition 11 may be that the first timer is not operating during the first hour. In this way, the UE can report a CSI for / in the case of a cell corresponding to multicast where a DRX is not set.
[0797] For example, a terminal device contains / has three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If the timer of the first DRX group is not operating in the first hour, and the first hour is not within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for cells 3 and 1. The first timer is the timer of the first DRX group, the fifth DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the ninth cell set is cell 3 and cell 1, and the fifteenth cell set is cell 2.
[0798] For example, a terminal device contains / has three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If the timer of the first DRX group is not operating during the first hour, and the first hour falls within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI for cell 3 during the first hour. The first timer is the timer of the first DRX group, the fifth DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the ninth cell set is cell 3, the fourteenth cell set is cell 1, and the fifteenth cell set is cell 2.
[0799] For example, if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not operating on symbol n, the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH for any cell or cell set other than the multicast associated cell for which a multicast DRX is not configured, and / or the terminal device will skip sending a CSI on PUSCH.
[0800] For example, if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to unicast is not operating for symbol n, but symbol n is within the active time of a multicast DRX in which the terminal device participates, then for cells or sets of cells other than those associated with multicast (e.g., a multicast associated with symbol n that is within the active time of the multicast DRX) and those associated with multicast for which no multicast DRX is configured, the terminal device will skip sending a semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending a CSI on PUSCH.
[0801] Optionally, the 8th multicast service set / 15th cell set is associated with the 1st DRX / 1st cell set.
[0802] For example, the eighth multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services that are received by terminal devices and associated with the first cell set / first DRX, and for which multicast DRX is not configured; multicast / multicast services that terminal devices participate in and are associated with the first cell set / first DRX, and for which multicast DRX is not configured; or multicast / multicast services that are associated with the first cell set / first DRX, and for which multicast DRX is not configured.
[0803] For example, the eighth multicast service set may include any one or more / all multicast / multicast services received by a terminal device and associated with the first cell set / first DRX, for which multicast DRX is not configured; any one or more / all multicast / multicast services in which a terminal device participates and is associated with the first cell set / first DRX, for which multicast DRX is not configured; or any one or more / all multicast / multicast services associated with the first cell set / first DRX, for which multicast DRX is not configured.
[0804] For example, the association of the 8th multicast service set / 15th cell set with the 1st DRX / 1st cell set can be understood as the cells included in the 15th cell set using the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters related to the 1st DRX), and the reception of control information for the cells included in the 15th cell set being controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the 1st DRX).
[0805] Optionally, the first cell set includes the fifteenth cell set.
[0806] For example, the 15th cell set is either a subset of the 1st cell set, or the 15th cell set is equal to the 1st cell set.
[0807] Optionally, the first cell set includes the ninth and fifteenth cell sets.
[0808] For example, the 9th and 15th cell sets are equal to the 1st cell set.
[0809] For example, the 9th and 15th cell sets do not have a common subset.
[0810] For example, if the on-lifetime timer corresponding to the DRX group is not operating at symbol n, the terminal device will skip sending the semi-persistent CSI configured on PUSCH and / or the terminal device will skip sending the CSI on PUSCH for cells or cell sets other than those associated with multicast where multicast DRX is not configured within the DRX group.
[0811] Optionally, the first cell set includes the ninth, fourteenth, and fifteenth cell sets. Alternatively, the first cell set may include the ninth cell set and the union of the fourteenth and fifteenth cell sets.
[0812] For example, the 9th cell set, the 14th cell set, and the 15th cell set are equal to the 1st cell set.
[0813] For example, the 9th and 15th cell sets do not have a common subset.
[0814] For example, the union of the 9th cell set and the 14th and 15th cell sets has no intersection.
[0815] It should be noted that the 14th and 15th cell sets may or may not have a common subset. This is not limited to the present application.
[0816] It should be noted that the 14th and 15th cell sets may be the same or different. This is not limited to the present application.
[0817] For example, a terminal device has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1 and multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If the timer of the first DRX group is not operating in the first hour, and the first hour is not within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour for cells other than cell 2 in the first cell set (i.e., cell 3 and cell 1). The first timer is the timer of the first DRX group, the fifth DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, the ninth cell set is cell 3 and cell 1, and the fifteenth cell set is cell 2.
[0818] For example, a terminal device has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponds to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1 and multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If the timer of the first DRX group is not operating during the first hour, and the first hour falls within the active time of the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI during the first hour for all cells in the first cell set except for both cell 1 and cell 2 (i.e., cell 3). The first timer is the timer of the first DRX group, the fifth DRX set is the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, the ninth cell set is cell 3, the fourteenth cell set is cell 1, and the fifteenth cell set is cell 2.
[0819] Cell sets or cells other than the 9th cell set (for example, the 14th cell set and / or the 15th cell set) set It should be understood that, in the case of ), terminal devices may transmit the first CSI or CSI in the first hour. For example, within a cell or cell set associated with the eighth multicast service set, a terminal device may transmit the first CSI in the first hour. Alternatively, within a cell or cell set associated with the twelfth multicast service, a terminal device may transmit the first CSI in the first hour.
[0820] In this embodiment of the present invention, if a multicast DRC is not set up in a multicast in which the terminal device participates, the terminal device may report a CSI, thereby allowing the base station to obtain the CSI, which helps the base station perform multicast scheduling.
[0821] In some embodiments, it is determined by the terminal device that the first time falls within the active time of the fifth DRX set.
[0822] Optionally, the fact that the first time does not belong to the active time of the fifth DRX set includes the terminal device determining that the first time does not belong to the active time of the fifth DRX set.
[0823] For specific implementations of how a terminal device determines that the first time falls within the active time of the fifth DRX set, it should be understood that the relevant description of how a terminal device determines that the first time falls within the active time of the third DRX set should be referenced.
[0824] In another embodiment, the determination that the first time does not belong to the active time of the first time and that the first time belongs to the active time of the fifth DRX set includes the terminal device determining that the first time does not belong to the active time of the first timer and that the first time belongs to the active time of the fifth DRX set.
[0825] Regarding the technical solution, it should be understood that the relevant description above should be used to determine whether the terminal device determines that the first time does not belong to the active time of the first DRX and whether the first time belongs to the active time of the third DRX set.
[0826] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 11, and the first CSI may be / may include / be replaced with the ninth CSI.
[0827] For information on the 9th CSI, please refer to the relevant description under the 4th CSI.
[0828] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 11, and "the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour" may be replaced with / may include / may include / may include / may include / may be "the terminal device skips sending the ninth CSI in the first hour."
[0829] The terminal device was 9 Regarding the contents of skipping the transmission of the CSI, it should be understood that one should refer to the relevant description above regarding the contents of skipping the transmission of the 4th CSI by the terminal device in the first hour.
[0830] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 11, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 5.
[0831] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 11, and method 400 of the present application may further include that condition 5 is satisfied.
[0832] For example, if conditions 11 and 5 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI or the ninth CSI in the first hour.
[0833] For example, if conditions 11 and 5 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first or ninth CSI in the first hour for the third cell set.
[0834] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 11, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 6.
[0835] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 11, and the method of the present application may further include that condition 6 is satisfied.
[0836] For example, if conditions 11 and 6 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI at the first time.
[0837] For example, if conditions 11 and 6 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI in the first time for the ninth cell set.
[0838] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 11, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 7.
[0839] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 11, and the method of the present application may further include that condition 7 is satisfied.
[0840] For example, if conditions 11 and 7 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI at the first time.
[0841] For example, if conditions 11 and 7 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for the ninth cell set.
[0842] For example, if conditions 11, 6, and 7 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI at the first time.
[0843] For example, if conditions 11, 6, and 7 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI in the first time for the ninth cell set.
[0844] Condition 12: The first hour does not belong to the active time of the first DRX, and the fourth timer set is not operating during the first hour.
[0845] The fourth timer set includes at least one multicast timer, and at least one multicast timer includes a fifth multicast timer, and while the fifth multicast timer is operating, the terminal device can monitor control information relating to the seventh multicast service.
[0846] For example, the fourth timer set may include multicast timers corresponding to multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or multicast timers corresponding to multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0847] For example, the fourth timer set may include multicast timers corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0848] The fact that the fourth timer set is not operating during the first hour can be understood as meaning that none of the timers within the fourth timer set are operating during the first hour.
[0849] For example, the fourth timer set may be associated with the eleventh multicast service set, and the eleventh multicast service set may include the seventh multicast service.
[0850] For example, the fourth timer set may include multicast timers corresponding to multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or multicast timers corresponding to multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0851] For example, the fourth timer set may include multicast timers corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0852] For example, the 11th multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0853] For example, the 11th multicast service set may include any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0854] For example, the seventh multicast service may be understood as a multicast service associated with the 14G-RNTI and / or the 14G-CS-RNTI, or as a multicast service associated with the 14G-RNTI and / or the 14G-CS-RNTI.
[0855] For example, control information relating to the seventh multicast service may include / be understood to include control information associated with (or scrambled by using) the 14G-RNTI and / or the 14G-CS-RNTI, and / or control information scrambled by using a unicast RNTI (e.g., C-RNTI and / or CS-RNTI).
[0856] It should be noted that while the fifth multicast timer is operating, terminal devices may alternatively monitor other control information. This is not limited to the present invention.
[0857] The fifth multicast timer may be a timer for the seventh multicast service, a drx-onDurationTimerPTM for the seventh multicast service, a timer for the 14G-RNTI and / or the 14G-CS-RNTI, or a drx-onDurationTimerPTM for the 14G-RNTI and / or the 14G-CS-RNTI.
[0858] Optionally, pre-set conditions include condition 12, where the terminal device transmits the first CSI at the first time, which may include the terminal device skipping the transmission of the first CSI at the first time for the first cell set.
[0859] The first cell set includes at least one cell and is associated with the first DRX or the first timer.
[0860] Regarding the relevant description of "the terminal device skipping sending the first CSI in the first hour for the first cell set," it should be understood that one should refer to the relevant description above. For brevity, further details are not provided again.
[0861] Optionally, the first cell set includes the tenth cell set.
[0862] For example, the 10th cell set is either a subset of the 1st cell set, or the 10th cell set is equal to the 1st cell set.
[0863] The 10th cell set is associated with the 4th timer set, and the 10th cell set contains at least one cell.
[0864] The fourth timer set is a multicast timer set that corresponds to a multicast timer set associated with the first timer or the first DRX, or a multicast service set associated with the first cell set.
[0865] For example, a terminal device includes / has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1. If the first time is not within the active time of the first DRX group and the timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 is not operating, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for the first DRX group / first cell set. The first DRX is the first DRX group, the fourth timer set is the timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the tenth cell set is cell 1.
[0866] For example, a terminal device includes / has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. If the first time is not within the active time of the first DRX group, and the timers for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2 are not operating, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for the first DRX group / first cell set. The first DRX is the first DRX group, the fourth timer set is the timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and the timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the tenth cell set is cell 1 and cell 2.
[0867] For example, a terminal device includes / has two DRX groups, the first DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the second DRX group corresponding to three cells, namely cell 4, cell 5, and cell 6. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, multicast 2 in cell 2, and multicast 4 in cell 4. If the first time is not within the active time of the first DRX group, and the timers for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2 are not operating, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for the first DRX group / first cell set. The first DRX is the first DRX group, the fourth timer set is the timer for the multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 1 and multicast DRX corresponding to multicast 2, the first cell set is cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3, and the tenth cell set is cell 1 and cell 2.
[0868] For further information regarding the fourth timer set, it should be understood that one should refer to the relevant information above for the second timer set.
[0869] In some embodiments, the fact that the fourth timer set is not operating can be determined by the terminal device.
[0870] Optionally, the fact that the fourth timer set is not operating includes the terminal device determining that the fourth timer set is not operating.
[0871] For a specific explanation of how the terminal device determines that the fourth timer set is not operating, it should be understood that one should refer to the relevant description of how the terminal device determines that the second timer set is not operating. The implementation is similar.
[0872] In other embodiments, the fact that the first timer does not belong to the active time of the first DRX and that the fourth timer set is not operating during the first time includes the terminal device determining that the first timer does not belong to the active time of the first DRX and that the fourth timer set is not operating during the first time.
[0873] Regarding the technical solution, it should be understood that the relevant description above should be used to refer to the terminal device determining that neither the first timer nor the second timer set is operating during the first hour. For brevity, further details are omitted.
[0874] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 12, and the first CSI may be / may include / be replaced with the tenth CSI.
[0875] For information on the 10th CSI, please refer to the relevant description under the 6th CSI.
[0876] Optionally, pre-set conditions include condition 12, and "the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour" may be replaced with / may include / may include / may include / may be "the terminal device skips sending the tenth CSI in the first hour."
[0877] It should be understood that the description of what is included in a terminal device skipping the transmission of the 10th CSI in the first hour should refer to the relevant description above regarding what is included in a terminal device skipping the transmission of the 6th CSI in the first hour.
[0878] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 12, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 5.
[0879] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 12, and method 400 of the present application may further include that condition 5 is satisfied.
[0880] For example, if conditions 12 and 5 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI or the tenth CSI in the first time.
[0881] For example, if conditions 12 and 5 are satisfied, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI or the tenth CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0882] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 12, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 6.
[0883] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 12, and the method of the present application may further include that condition 6 is satisfied.
[0884] For example, if conditions 12 and 6 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI at the first time.
[0885] For example, if conditions 12 and 6 are satisfied, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0886] Optionally, the pre-set conditions may include condition 12, and the pre-set conditions may further include condition 7.
[0887] Optionally, pre-set conditions may include condition 12, and the method of this application may further include that condition 7 is satisfied.
[0888] For example, if conditions 12 and 7 are met, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI at the first time.
[0889] For example, if conditions 12 and 7 are satisfied, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0890] For example, if conditions 12, 6, and 7 are met, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI at the first time.
[0891] For example, if conditions 12, 6, and 7 are satisfied, the terminal device will skip sending the first CSI in the first time for the first cell set.
[0892] Condition 13: The first hour does not belong to the active time of the first DRX, and the fifth timer set is operating during the first hour.
[0893] The fifth timer set includes at least one multicast timer, and at least one multicast timer includes a sixth multicast timer, and while the sixth multicast timer is operating, the terminal device can monitor control information relating to the eighth multicast service.
[0894] For example, the fifth timer set may include a multicast timer corresponding to a multicast / multicast service received by a terminal device, or a multicast timer corresponding to a multicast / multicast service in which a terminal device participates.
[0895] For example, the fifth timer set may include multicast timers corresponding to any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services received by the terminal device, or any multicast / multicast service / all multicast / multicast services in which the terminal device participates.
[0896] For example, the fifth timer set may be associated with the ninth multicast service set, and the ninth multicast service set may include the eighth multicast service.
[0897] For example, the fifth timer set may include a multicast timer corresponding to a multicast / multicast service received by a terminal device, or a multicast timer corresponding to a multicast / multicast service in which a terminal device participates.
[0898] For example, the ninth multicast service set may include multicast / multicast services received by terminal devices, or multicast / multicast services in which terminal devices participate.
[0899] For example, the 8th multicast service may be understood as a multicast service associated with the 8th G-RNTI and / or the 8th G-CS-RNTI, or as a multicast associated with the 8th G-RNTI and / or the 8th G-CS-RNTI.
[0900] For example, control information relating to the 8th multicast service may include / be understood to include control information associated with (or scrambled by using) the 8th G-RNTI and / or the 8th G-CS-RNTI, and / or control information scrambled by using a unicast RNTI (e.g., C-RNTI and / or CS-RNTI).
[0901] It should be noted that while the sixth multicast timer is operating, terminal devices may alternatively monitor other control information. This is not limited to the present invention.
[0902] The sixth multicast timer may be a timer for the eighth multicast service, a drx-onDurationTimerPTM for the eighth multicast service, a timer for the eighth G-RNTI and / or the eighth G-CS-RNTI, or a drx-onDurationTimerPTM for the eighth G-RNTI and / or the eighth G-CS-RNTI.
[0903] Optionally, pre-set conditions include condition 13, where the terminal device transmits the first CSI at the first time, which may include skipping the terminal device transmitting the first CSI at the first time for the 11th cell set.
[0904] The 11th cell set contains at least one cell, and the 11th cell set is not associated with the 5th timer set.
[0905] For example, the 16th cell set is associated with the 5th timer set or the 9th multicast service set.
[0906] The 16th cell set contains at least one cell.
[0907] The fact that the 11th cell set is not associated with the 5th timer set can be understood as the 11th cell set not being associated with the 9th multicast service set.
[0908] For example, the 11th cell set may be understood as a cell / cell set other than the cell / cell set associated with the 9th multicast service set, or a cell / cell set other than the 16th cell set.
[0909] "For the 11th cell set, the terminal device skips sending the first CSI in the first hour" means the following: The terminal device skips sending a CSI (e.g., the first CSI) within the 11th cell set in the first hour, or The terminal device skips sending a CSI specific to the 11th cell set (e.g., the 1st CSI) during the first time. It should be noted that it is acceptable to include / understand that any one of these is acceptable.
[0910] It should be noted that if a terminal device "skips transmitting a CSI (e.g., a first CSI) within the 11th cell set in the first hour," it is not limited in this application whether the terminal device transmits a CSI specific to the 11th cell set in other cells or cell groups.
[0911] It should be noted that if the terminal device "skips transmitting a CSI specific to the 11th cell set (e.g., the first CSI) in the first time," it is not limited in this application whether the terminal device transmits CSIs specific to other cells or cell sets within the 11th cell set.
[0912] Optionally, the 16th cell set is associated with the 1st DRX.
[0913] For example, the association of the 16th cell set with the 1st DRX can be understood as the cells in the 16th cell set using the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters relating to the 1st DRX) and the reception of control information for the cells in the 16th cell set being controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the 1st DRX).
[0914] Optionally, the 11th cell set is associated with the 1st timer or the 1st DRX.
[0915] For example, the cells included in the 11th cell set use the same DRX parameters (e.g., parameters related to the first timer or the first DRX), and the reception of control information for the cells included in the 11th cell set is controlled by the same DRX (e.g., the first timer or the first DRX).
[0916] Optionally, the first cell set includes the eleventh cell set.
[0917] For example, the 11th cell set is either a subset of the 1st cell set, or the 11th cell set is equal to the 1st cell set.
[0918] The 11th cell set is not associated with the 12th multicast service set.
[0919] The 12th multicast service set includes at least one multicast service, and at least one multicast service includes the 13th multicast service.
[0920] Multicast DRX is not configured for the 13th multicast service.
[0921] It should be understood that for the 12th multicast service set, one should refer to the relevant description above for the 8th multicast service set.
[0922] For example, the 17th cell set is associated with the 12th multicast service set.
[0923] The 17th cell set contains at least one cell.
[0924] For example, the fact that the 11th cell set is not associated with the 12th multicast service set can be understood as the 11th cell set not being associated with the 17th cell set.
[0925] It should be noted that condition 13 may be replaced by the fact that the first time does not fall within the active time of the first DRX. In other words, it is not essential that the fifth timer set is operating during the first time. For example, if there is a 12th multicast service set / 17th cell set, condition 13 may be that the first time does not fall within the active time of the first DRX. In this way, the UE can report a CSI for / in the case of a cell corresponding to multicast where no DRX is configured.
[0926] For example, a terminal device contains / has three cells, namely cell 1, cell 2, and cell 3. The terminal device receives multicast 1 in cell 1, and the terminal device receives multicast 2 in cell 2. A multicast DRX is configured for multicast 1, but not for multicast 2. If the first time is not within the active time of the first DRX group, and the on-lifetime timer corresponding to multicast 1 is not activated, the terminal device skips sending the ...
