Abstract
To provide a quantum system, device and method for realizing reliable formation and entanglement of quantum bits.SOLUTION: In fusion-based quantum computing methods, each interleave module 2200 includes a set of reconfigurable fusion circuits that receive or generate resource states consisting of entangled physical qubits and perform fusion operations or single qubit measurements on pairs of qubits from different resource states, routing paths connected to the reconfigurable fusion circuits, and delay lines 2214 and routing switches 2216 that select routing paths in the qubits of the resource states to implement a desired combination of fusion operations and single qubit measurements. The routing paths include local routing paths that couple to the reconfigurable coalescing circuitry 2212 and network routing paths that couple the routing switches to reconfigurable coalescing circuitry in different interleaving modules in the network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22
