Method used

A sanitary product dispenser with a housing, discharge tray, and drive mechanism that allows for the controlled dispensing of hygiene products one at a time, using a rack and pinion mechanism to move the discharge tray and a lid mechanism to secure the product after dispensing.

Benefits of technology

The dispenser ensures that hygiene products are provided to users with confidence, preventing misuse and ensuring that products are available only to those who need them, thus maintaining hygiene and reducing waste.

Abstract

A dispenser (10) comprises an accommodation part (21), a discharge tray (30), a housing (11), and a drive mechanism (60). The accommodation part (21) accommodates a plurality of flat napkins (N) that are stacked vertically. The discharge tray (30) has an upper surface (31) on which the plurality of napkins (N) are loaded, is mounted to a bottom plate (24) of the accommodation part (21) so as to be movable in a discharge direction intersecting the stacking direction of the napkins (N), and has a vertical wall (32) protruding from the upper surface of a rear end on the upstream side in the discharge direction. The vertical wall (32) has a flat pressing surface (32a) extending substantially perpendicularly from the upper surface (31) to a protruding height equal to or less than the thickness of a single napkin (N). The housing (11) has discharge ports (13L, 13R) provided facing the downstream side in the discharge direction of a napkin (N1) at the lower end in the stacking direction that is in contact with the upper surface (31) of the discharge tray (30). The drive mechanism (60) moves the discharge tray (30) in the discharge direction in response to a provision request from a user.
