A tent that is detachably attached to a hitch receiver fixed to the rear of a vehicle, and a method for installing the same are provided. The tent, which is easy to fold and unfold, may include a hitch connector that is detachably attached to a hitch receiver, a housing connected to the hitch connector and fixed to be adjacent to a vehicle or fixed to be adjacent to the ground, an air tent body that is folded and stored inside the housing, and a plurality of height adjustment units that adjust the height of the air tent body into which air is injected from the ground.
