Specific gravity separation device

Abstract

Provided is a specific gravity separation device capable of efficiently separating and recovering a high-specific-gravity object from an object to be separated, suppressing an amount of a low-specific-gravity object mixed in the recovered high-specific-gravity object, and recovering the high-specific-gravity object at a high recovery rate. The specific gravity separation device: performs specific gravity separation by means of a conical drum into which an object to be separated is introduced from the upper end side and separation process water supplied from a discharge pipe connected to the lower end side; discharges a low-specific-gravity object from the upper end of the conical drum; and recovers a high-specific-gravity object from the discharge pipe. In the specific gravity separation device, an agitating blade for agitating the object to be separated as the conical drum rotates is mounted on the inner wall of the conical drum.
