Abstract

A plant cultivation apparatus having a function of reducing the discharge of a waste nutrient solution, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a plant arrangement unit in which plants are arranged; a nutrient solution spraying unit that sprays a nutrient solution on the plants; a nutrient solution supply unit that supplies the nutrient solution to the nutrient solution spraying unit; and a control unit that controls at least one of the nutrient solution spraying unit and the nutrient solution supply unit, wherein the control unit controls at least one of the nutrient solution spraying unit and the nutrient solution supply unit on the basis of at least one of the type of the plants, state information of the plants, environmental information of the plant arrangement unit, and information on the nutrient solution.
