AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

The existing battery pack insulation voltage resistance detection method has a long pressurization time, resulting in low detection efficiency.

Method used

The pressurization device applies a DC voltage from zero voltage to the target voltage to the battery cell to be tested within the first preset time period, and obtains the current value; the target voltage is continuously applied within the second preset time period, and the current value is monitored. If the current value is less than the preset threshold within the preset time period, it is determined that the detection result is passed.

Benefits of technology

The voltage rise and maintenance time is shortened and the efficiency of insulation voltage withstand detection is improved.

Abstract

Provided in the present disclosure are an insulation withstand voltage testing method and system for a battery. The method comprises: in response to a test starting signal, a voltage application device applying, to a battery cell to be tested, a direct-current voltage from a zero voltage to a target voltage by means of a voltage application circuit within a first preset time period, and acquiring a first current value which is generated by said battery cell on the basis of the direct-current voltage within the first preset time period; the voltage application device continuously applying to said battery cell the direct-current voltage, i.e. the target voltage, by means of the voltage application circuit within a second preset time period, and acquiring a second current value which is generated by said battery cell on the basis of the direct-current voltage within the second preset time period; and if the first current value is less than a first preset current threshold value and the second current value is less than a second preset current threshold value, the voltage application device determining that a test result of said battery cell is said battery cell passing the present insulation withstand voltage test.
