AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

In dual-card dual-pass terminal devices, when the signals corresponding to the two SIM cards are time-division multiplexed, the antenna transmission performance is poor, and the frequency combination without the CA tuning state cannot support time-division multiplexing DSDA.

Method used

By acquiring the transmission time information of the signal in the terminal device, adjusting the resonant frequency of the antenna to match the transmitted frequency band, thereby improving the transmission performance of the antenna. At the same time, the tuning switch is used to adjust the resonant frequency, simplifying the implementation process.

Benefits of technology

It improves the transmission performance of the antenna in the time division multiplexing communication process, and can achieve time division multiplexing DSDA without the frequency combination of CA tuning state, which expands the scope of application.

Abstract

Embodiments of the present application provide an antenna tuning method and a related apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device obtains a first time for configuring a resonance frequency of a first antenna, and the terminal device configures, at the first time, the resonance frequency of the first antenna as a first resonance frequency; during a first time period, the terminal device uses the first antenna to send a signal of a first frequency band, the resonance frequency of the first antenna being the first resonance frequency, and the first time period being later than the first time; the terminal device obtains a second time for configuring the resonance frequency of the first antenna, and the terminal device configures, at the second time, the resonance frequency of the first antenna as a second resonance frequency, the second time being later than the first time period; and during a second time period, the terminal device uses the first antenna to send a signal of a second frequency band, the resonance frequency of the first antenna being the second resonance frequency. In this way, when the terminal device performs time division multiplexing, a resonance frequency of an antenna is adjusted to match a transmitted frequency band, improving transmission performance of the antenna.
