Abstract

A communication method executed by user equipment that switches serving cells by means of L1 / L2 triggered mobility (LTM) includes: receiving an LTM candidate cell configuration transmitted from a first cell by means of a radio resource control (RRC) message; using the LTM candidate cell configuration to perform an LTM cell switch from the first cell to a second cell; retaining the LTM candidate cell configuration, said retained LTM candidate cell configuration including a configuration for the first cell; and, after performing the LTM cell switch to the second cell, continuing to use the LTM candidate cell configuration to perform a subsequent LTM cell switch to the first cell.
