Abstract
Description
[0001] ACCESSORY HOLDER FOR INSIDE HELMET
[0002] DESCRIPTIVE MEMORANDUM
[0003] The present utility model is aimed at an accessory holder for inside a helmet that has a safe and discreet space to store and protect all kinds of objects or accessories inside a helmet in a quick and simple way for the user, without having to part with their personal belongings.
[0004] Utility model applicable in the technical sector of industry, sports, entertainment and in all fields related to the use of protective helmets.
[0005] Flexible polyethylene accessory holder device that fits between the harness and the inner wall of the helmet, which adjusts to any type or geometry of helmet.
[0006] Attached to the center of this accessory holder is the fastening, hooking, or securing system for the accessory to be carried. This fastening system consists of two sailboat straps that fit the dimensions of the accessory, dimensions that must be compatible with the available space between the harness and the inner wall of the hull.
[0007] This device consists of two arms articulated at their midpoint and with claws at their ends, allowing it to adapt to any helmet harness anchoring position. These arms have a sliding adjustment system that allows them to extend or retract depending on the harness configuration.
[0008] Sailboat straps have a layer of adhesive and non-slip material to ensure a good grip and thus prevent the object being carried from coming loose and falling even under the most severe conditions of use such as bumps and drops.
[0009] The sliding adjustment is achieved by means of a buckle with perforations, which allows the other end of the arm to slide with clasps that fit perfectly into said perforations to form a single rigid and snug assembly. STATE OF THE ART
[0010] Currently, the use of personal protective equipment is required in almost all areas of industry, sports, and entertainment.
[0011] It is in these activities that it becomes necessary to take advantage of the usable space inside a helmet to carry, store and therefore protect accessories and items that we cannot keep in our hands, in our work clothes or sportswear; items that can be very valuable such as documents, money or jewelry; and delicate accessories such as cell phones, watches, glasses, medicine boxes, alcohol gel and masks, etc., that is, many types of accessories.
[0012] The prior art reports some devices for safety helmets with special harnesses, such as the one in application ES2065728, which comprises internal equipment for protective helmets. The elements of this disclosed device, although part of the helmet's interior, do not serve to store or protect accessories.
[0013] A device with a similar use to that offered by the present utility model is disclosed in document ES1071797, which consists of a helmet with a removable compartment for storing objects. While this device can store objects, it is limited to a small number of items due to its dimensions. It should also be noted that this device is part of the helmet's structure, unlike the present utility model, which is a separate device.
[0014] TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES
[0015] - Protect objects by taking advantage of the existing space inside the helmet.
[0016] - Portable and adaptable to all types of helmets.
[0017] - Completely discreet.
[0018] - Versatile due to its varied uses and applications.
[0019] DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[0024] FIGURE 5. Shows an overview of how this device takes the shape of the inside of the helmet, making the most of the available space.
[0025] FIGURE 6. Shows an example of using the device by carrying an accessory wrapped in sailcloth straps.
[0026] FIGURE 7. Shows the cross-section of a helmet and the device installed between the helmet walls and the harness, carrying an accessory that respects the dimensions of the aforementioned usable space.
[0027] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0028] The present utility model consists of an accessory holder for inside a helmet that allows, in a discreet manner, the carrying or storage of accessories, objects or any element inside a helmet, taking advantage of the space existing between the harness and the inner wall of the helmet.
[0029] This accessory holder consists of two arms (1) and (2) and their ends (3) and (4), which, when joined in the center (11), form the device. Both arms (1) and (2) are articulated thanks to the connection between the male pivot (15), which is press-fitted into the female hole (16). This allows it to adapt to any distance between helmet anchor points by joining in the center (11).
[0030] The four ends of this device have claws (7), (8), (9) and (10) that allow it to be firmly attached to the helmet harness anchors.
[0031] These arms (1) and (2) are made extendable or retractable by means of buckles (17) and clasps (14), which allow the length of the arms (1) and (2) to be adjusted by inserting them into the holes (18) and remaining perfectly joined.
[0032] In the central part of the two arms (1) and (2) are positioned two Velcro straps (5) and (6) located in the center of the two arms (1) and (2) joined by means of stitching (13). These Velcro straps (5) and (6) have a layer of adhesive and non-slip material (12) that allows them to firmly hug or wrap the accessory to be carried.
[0033] An example of the application of this accessory holder for inside the helmet is to be able to carry sound alert devices or cell phones to be able to hear the ring or feel the vibration of a call or message that we could not hear or feel in conditions of excessive ambient noise having the device in the pockets or clothing.
[0034] It is also very convenient for carrying and protecting objects in high-risk activities where we experience sudden turns and movements that keep us immobilized, conditions in which we could lose our belongings.
[0035] As background, during the pandemic, the need arose to carry first-aid kit items such as medicine boxes, disposable masks, and a small bottle of hand sanitizer in a safe and easily accessible place. Observing the usefulness of the space between the harness and the helmet walls, the idea arose to design this accessory holder for inside the helmet with the mission of protecting and storing these items, yielding excellent results and transforming it into an improvised portable mini-first-aid kit.
[0036] Having said all of the above, this utility model, due to its versatility, can be used as a document holder, wallet, cigarette case, cosmetic bag, Bluetooth speaker holder, etc., that is, it can be used for countless purposes.
