Abstract
The Power Vest is designed to be bulletproof due to its choice of materials, which are characterized by a Kevlar layer (1) made of heterocyclic aramid, high-performance fibers, or treated long carbon nanotubes. The combination of these materials can absorb energy of up to 706 megajoules per cubic meter. This property is achieved by reinforcing the aramid molecule chains with carbon nanotubes, ensuring they are straight and parallel to each other.
