AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing account-linking platforms rely on challenge-response authentication schemes that are susceptible to fraudulent operations, failing to provide strong user identity verification.

Method used

Implement biometrically authenticated centralized access by generating a reference biometric identifier (RBI) from user biometric data, which is transmitted to a central server for verification against a biometric data packet (BDP) during transactions, ensuring secure access to multiple accounts.

🎯Benefits of technology

Enhances user identity verification through biometric authentication, reducing fraudulent activities and ensuring secure access to multiple user accounts across participating service providers.

Abstract

The disclosed systems and methods are directed to an implementation of a biometrically authenticated centralized access to multiple accounts, via an account-linking platform. The described implementation involves generation, of a reference biometric identifier (RBI) from biometric data scanned from a user associated with a user account stored by the first server. The implementation may further comprise transmission of the generated RBI, to a central server linking a plurality of account servers. The implementation may further comprise generation, by the first device, a biometric data packet (BDP) from biometric data captured from the user, and transmission of the same to the central server. A verification of the BPD, may then be carried out by the central center, based on determining a match between the BDP received from the first device and the RBI received from the first server.
