Abstract
The system comprises a battery (HV-BATT), a load connection, a first high-voltage supply path (HV+) having a first switchable disconnecting device (SW1), a second high-voltage supply path (HV-) having a second switchable disconnecting device (SW2), a positive battery-side insulation, a negative battery-side insulation, a positive load-side insulation, a negative load-side insulation, and an insulation monitoring device (20). On the basis of voltage values provided by the insulation monitoring device (20), it is detected whether there is a positive insulation fault or a negative insulation fault. If a positive insulation fault is detected, a verification switching phase is set in such a way that the first disconnecting device (SW1) and the second disconnecting device (SW2) are in an open state and the pre-charging disconnecting device (SW_PRE) is in a closed state, and if a negative insulation fault is detected, the verification switching phase is set in such a way that the first disconnecting device (SW1) is in a closed state and the second disconnecting device (SW2) and the pre-charging disconnecting device (SW_PRE) are in an open state.
