Abstract
Regarding a reservoir tank in which a retention chamber is disposed at a position shifted toward the forward direction F of a vehicle from a master cylinder, in a state in which a vehicle that uses such a reservoir tank is inclined forward, a float is not lowered sufficiently when brake fluid flows out due to failure of one of the ports of the master cylinder, and failure of the port of the master cylinder cannot be detected. The present invention comprises a groove (21a) that is provided to a bottom surface (4a) of a passage chamber (4) extending at least in the forward direction (F) of a vehicle from a primary port (21) and / or a secondary port (22).
