AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing AI home robots face inconvenience in call relaying processes when a caller wants to speak directly with the user, as they often lack the ability to identify the location of the intended recipient and efficiently relay calls across different areas.

Method used

A portable electronic device equipped with processors, sensors, and communication circuits that can identify the location of the recipient using Bluetooth Low Energy packets and sensors, and move to that location to relay calls or transmit information via data networks if the recipient is not within the same area.

🎯Benefits of technology

Enables seamless call relaying and information delivery to the intended recipient, enhancing user convenience by moving to the recipient's location or relaying calls through data networks based on location identification, thus overcoming the limitations of traditional AI home robots.

Abstract

A mobile electronic device is disclosed. When instructions are individually or collectively executed, one or more processors instruct the electronic device to: acquire information corresponding to a received call through a response corresponding to the received call; on the basis of information received through a communication circuit from a first external device related to the acquired information, identify whether the first external device is located in the same area as the electronic device; and if the first external device is located in the same area as the electronic device, move to a location corresponding to the first external device so as to provide the information corresponding to the received call.
