Abstract

There is provided a system and a method of generating optical coherence tomography angiography (octa) images with improved image quality, the method comprising, generating an initial set of OCTA images of a region of interest based on a set of OCT images using an optical microangiography (OMAG) technique; generating a compressed feature map of the region of interest based on the set of OCT images using an encoder-decoder model; and concatenating the initial set of OCTA images with the compressed feature map to generate a concatenated image of the region of interest.
