Find Innovative SolutionsGenerate Solutions
Solution Overview
Problem
Industrial robotic simulation tools lack the capability to inspect and adjust robotic target paths and programs effectively, limiting the validation and editing of robotic operations, especially when interacting with external platforms.
Innovation Solution
Implementing an AI-based robotic program module within the simulation tool that predicts and generates robotic programs from received poses, allowing for 3D visualization and editing of robotic paths, enabling independent simulation without external platform connectivity.
Engineering Contradictions & Design Principles
Engineering Contradiction Analysis
1Reliability
If robotic simulation tools are connected to external robotic platforms to simulate robot behavior, then the simulation capability is enhanced, but the ability to inspect and edit robotic target paths is lost
Solution Approach 1:
The system separates the simulation execution function (handled by external robotic platforms) from the program inspection and editing function (handled by the robotic simulation tool). The AI module acts as an intermediary that translates between the external platform's pose data and the simulation tool's program structure, allowing both functions to operate independently while maintaining full inspection and editing capabilities within the simulation tool.
2Productivity
If robotic simulation tools receive only pose data from external platforms, then simulation can be performed, but essential program data for validation and editing is missing
Solution Approach 1:
The AI module implements a feedback mechanism that analyzes pose data from external platforms and generates the corresponding robotic program structure. This feedback loop reconstructs the complete program information including target paths, motion parameters, and control logic, making the full program data available within the simulation tool for validation and editing purposes.
Solution Approach 2:
The system replaces the traditional mechanical connection to external platforms with an AI-based inference system. Instead of directly receiving incomplete pose data, the simulation tool uses the AI module to infer and reconstruct the complete robotic program, substituting the data transmission mechanism with an intelligent data generation mechanism.
3Reliability
If users rely on external robotic platforms for simulation, then robot behavior can be calculated, but independent validation and debugging within the simulation tool is not possible
Solution Approach 1:
The robotic simulation tool is enhanced with multi-functionality through the AI module, enabling it to perform both simulation execution (receiving pose data from external platforms) and independent program validation (inspecting, debugging, and editing programs within the tool). This universal capability allows the simulation tool to function autonomously while maintaining compatibility with external platforms.

AI summary
System and a method for simulating a motion behavior of a virtual robot. Data on a robotic pose list comprising at least poses of a virtual robot in a simulation interval are received from an external robotic platform. The robotic pose list is inputted into a robotic program Al module trained for outputting a robotic program. The outputted robotic program comprises at least data on the robotic target path of the interval. The robotic simulation tool uploads the robotic program and generates one or more 3D graphic views around one or more corresponding targets of the robotic path. The robotic simulation tool simulates the robot's motion behavior from the robotic program on at least one of said 3D graphic views.
