Abstract

Disclosed herein is a method of calculating a consistent furrow measurement for when a soil apparatus is pulled through a furrow, wherein the soil apparatus is capable of measuring one or more soil properties, the method comprising: a. measuring, using the soil apparatus, during a measurement period: i. a percent of furrow time, optionally a percent of void, and optionally a percent of moisture change; or ii. a percent of void and a percent of moisture change; to obtain a measurement; and b. calculating a consistent furrow by subtracting the measurement from 100%.
