Abstract

To provide an exchange station which enables automatic exchange of a grinding disk in a relatively simple manner. [Solution] An apparatus is disclosed that includes a retaining plate having a surface for retaining an abrasive disc, a movable clamping element raised to a first position relative to the retaining plate, an actuator coupled to the clamping element and configured to move the clamping element to a second position in which the clamping element is pressed against the retaining plate so that the abrasive disc is clamped between the retaining plate and the clamping element, and a trigger element positioned relative to the retaining plate to be activated when the abrasive disc is placed and pressed against the surface of the retaining plate, wherein the trigger element and the actuator are coupled such that when the trigger element is activated, the actuator moves the clamping element from the first position to the second position.
