Abstract

The invention relates to a thermal insulation device (10) for a wall envelope (9) or a roof (4) of a building and comprising for this purpose at least one rigid support structure (20) intended to be attached to a load-bearing element (6; 7;8) of said wall envelope (9) or of said roof (4) and thermal insulation (30) carried by said support structure (20), characterized in that the thermal insulation (30) comprises at least one flexible outer envelope containing an insulating material and provided around its perimeter with at least two prominent opposing attachment members, and the rigid support structure (20) comprises at least two longitudinal profiles in the general form of a rail intended to be fixed to the wall envelope (9) or the roof (4) to be insulated, said rails respectively comprising facing attachment means to each receive a longitudinal securing element adapted on the one hand to be inserted removably into the respective opposing attachment members of the flexible outer envelope and on the other hand to cooperate with said attachment means so as to attach said thermal insulation (30) to the rigid support structure (20).
