Abstract

The object of the present invention is to provide a lens driving device in which a vibration damping member is more appropriately mounted. In the lens driving device (101), there is provided: a lens holding member (2) having an inner peripheral portion (12) capable of holding a lens body; a frame (HS) including a base member (18) arranged below the lens holding member; a leaf spring (6) supporting the lens holding member so as to be movable in the direction of the optical axis; and a driving mechanism (DM) including at least a coil (3) held on the outer peripheral portion (12j) of the lens holding member and a magnet group (5) opposite to the coil, and moving the lens holding member in the direction of the optical axis. The lens holding member has a through portion (2H) penetrating between the inner peripheral portion and the outer peripheral portion in the direction of the optical axis. The base member has a protrusion (18P) inserted into the through portion. Furthermore, a vibration damping member (DP) is arranged between the wall portion constituting the through portion and the protrusion.
