The multifunctional cutting machine for garment production and the cutting method thereof are characterized in that the conveying mechanism is arranged on both sides of the whole cutting mechanism, a clamping mechanism is arranged above the conveying mechanism, the two sides of the accumulated fabric can be clamped through the clamping mechanism on the conveying mechanism, then, when the clamping mechanism is conveyed to the top position along with the conveying mechanism, the extrusion mechanism symmetrically arranged on the cutting machine is matched to clamp the two top ends of the fabric, so that the accumulated fabric can be laid flat and tightened.
