The invention provides an interface switching method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: generating mask images corresponding to a preset frame number of time frames based on a gray vector diagram and performance parameters corresponding to the preset frame number of time frames; in response to the interface switching instruction, determining a first interface currently displayed in the graphical user interface and a second interface to be switched, and sequentially covering the graphical user interface with the mask image corresponding to each time frame according to a time sequence, so as to display an interface element corresponding to the first interface through an image area corresponding to a first color in the mask image, the image area corresponding to the second color displays an interface element corresponding to the second interface; and displaying a second interface in the graphical user interface in response to display completion of the mask pictures corresponding to the preset number of time frames. In the mode, a user can set different expression effects of the mask graph through different expression parameters, so that the interface switching is more novel and vivid through the mask graph.
