Rubber compositions and articles thereof

Abstract

In accordance with the object(s) of the present disclosure, as particularized and broadly described herein, is a vulcanized rubber composition having improved physical properties such as tread wear, rolling resistance, snow performance, chunking, and dry performance. In one embodiment, the present disclosure provides an uncured rubber composition comprising a styrene butadiene elastomer, a cis 1,4-polybutadiene elastomer, a silica, and a plasticizer. The uncured rubber composition can be vulcanized to produce various components for tire production.
