Vehicle tires with a profiled, directional
tread pattern with first and second oblique grooves (1, 1') extending across the
tread width in a V-shape towards each other and with pitches extending across the width, each consisting of a first
pitch part (P11, P22, P33) assigned to the first oblique grooves (1) and a second
pitch part (P11, P22, P33) assigned to the second oblique grooves (1'), wherein the
pitch parts (P11, P22, P33) are provided in at least two different circumferential lengths. The
tread contains combination pitches (A to E), each of which contains at least two consecutive pitches in the circumferential direction, wherein each pitch, viewed across the tread width, is composed of a combination of a first and a second pitch part (P11, P22, P33) with different circumferential lengths, wherein each pitch contains pitch parts (P11, P22, P33) that either differ from the combination of pitch parts (P11, P22, P33) in each further pitch of the combination pitch (A to E) or are arranged such that consecutive pitch parts (P11, P22, P33) in the circumferential direction are different from each other.
