The invention discloses an epoxy-maleimide modified polybutadiene and butyl hot melt adhesive and a preparation method of the epoxy-maleimide modified polybutadiene and butyl hot melt adhesive. The epoxy-maleimide modified polybutadiene is obtained by reacting epoxidized polybutadiene and maleimide carboxylic acid under the action of a polymerization inhibitor and a phase transfer catalyst. Epoxy-maleimide modified polybutadiene is introduced into raw materials such as polyisobutene, furyl phenol is used as a dynamic cross-linking agent, and the epoxy-maleimide modified butyl hot melt adhesive is prepared. The butyl hot melt adhesive realizes crosslinking at normal temperature, has relatively high hardness, water resistance and shear strength, and can realize crosslinking bond dissociation at a high temperature of 90 DEG C or above, so that the butyl hot melt adhesive has relatively good processability; in addition, the butyl hot melt adhesive disclosed by the invention is good in adhesive strength with glass, high in curing speed and long in storage life.
