Abstract

This utility model relates to the field of medical device technology, specifically to a transbiliary dilatation balloon catheter. The hollow catheter includes a straight section and a flexible elbow connected to the end of the straight section. The outer wall of the straight section has an inwardly recessed fitting groove along its axial direction. The balloon covers the outer wall of the straight section near the flexible elbow. A connecting tube is disposed in the fitting groove and communicates with the balloon. A guidewire passes through the hollow catheter and extends from the end of the flexible elbow. The connecting tube is used to inject fluid medium into the balloon. The interference fit design of the fitting groove and the rubber sleeve ensures that the connecting tube is completely embedded in the catheter wall, keeping the outer wall of the catheter smooth and intact, and avoiding tissue scratches caused by tube protrusion.
