Abstract

Countersinking tool for producing cylindrical holes, with the following features: - there is a base body (10) with a rotation axis (14) which is formed in several parts in the longitudinal direction, - the base body (10) has coupling elements (17) at a first end section (11) for coupling to the work spindle of a machine tool, - the base body (10) has a carrier body (19) at the second end section (13) facing away from the first end section (11), on the end face (25) of which at least two insert seats are provided, - one cutting insert (21) is attached to each insert seat, - the cutting tip (22) of the cutting plates (21) is - - located in the radial direction on a radius which is larger than the radius of the peripheral surface (23) of the carrier body (19), and - - axially in a plane (24) (cutting plane) which is located beyond the end face (24) of the carrier body (19), - only two strip seats (26; 27) are arranged on the peripheral surface (23) of the carrier body (19), which have a contact surface (28) aligned parallel to the rotation axis (14) and at least one side surface (32) aligned in the cutting direction, - a support strip (34) is attached to each strip seat (26; 27), - each of the two support strips (34) has on the inside a flat contact surface (35) which is matched to the contact surface (28) of the strip seat (26; 27), and on the outside at least one peripheral area with a cylindrical support surface (39), - - whose cylinder axis is aligned with the rotation axis (14) of the base body (10) and - - whose radius is at least approximately equal to the radius of the cutting tip (22), - each support strip (34) has two side surfaces (36; 37) which are aligned parallel to the rotation axis (14) and parallel to each other, of which the side surface (37) aligned opposite to the cutting direction is matched to the side surface (32) of the strip seats facing it, - the two support strips (34) are arranged distributed around the circumference in such a way that the central angle (a) between the radials (46; 47) of the circumferential center of the two support strips (34.1; 34.2) is less than 180° and - whereby two cutting plates are arranged between the two support strips in the circumferential direction.
