Abstract

Electric powertrain (1) for an electric vehicle comprising a power electronics housing (2), an electric motor housing (3) and a transmission housing (4), wherein the electric motor housing (3) is arranged between the power electronics housing (2) and the transmission housing (4), wherein an electrical connection exists between at least one component arranged in the power electronics housing (2) and at least one component arranged in the transmission housing (4), wherein the at least one component arranged in the power electronics housing (2) is directly electrically connected to the at least one component arranged in the transmission housing (4) via a single electrical interface (5), characterized in that the electrical interface (5) is at least at one point where it interrupts a first wall (11) separating the power electronics housing (2) from the electric motor housing (3), and at a point,where it interrupts a second wall (13) separating the gearbox housing (4) from the electric motor housing (3), and has at least one seal (16, 17) in each case.
