Control system, learning device, inference device and control

Abstract

A control system comprises a detector for sensing the position of a workpiece moving along a feed path, a drive for powering a processing device to perform processing on the workpiece, a controller (12) for controlling the drive, and a remote input / output unit for sending a sensing signal from the detector to the controller (12). The controller (12) includes a Kalman filter (23) for estimating a future position of the workpiece based on the sensing signal and a time generator (25) for generating a time at which the processing device performs the processing, based on the estimated future position of the workpiece. The controller sends the processing time to the drive via the remote input / output unit.
