Two-tiered litter box comprising: an upper level with a slotted walking floor, wherein the slots are dimensioned to allow a cat to walk on it, and wherein cat litter adhering to the paws falls through the slots, and a lower level forming a toilet chamber filled with cat litter, and an opening through which the cat can pass from the upper level to the lower level.

Description

Technical field The invention relates to the field of pet hygiene, in particular cat litter boxes with devices for reducing the amount of cat litter that is carried out. State of the art Conventional litter boxes typically consist of a single level with an entry opening. When the cat leaves the box, litter often sticks to its paws and gets tracked around the house. Mats, grids, or rugs exist that are supposed to catch the litter, but these are often insufficient because they only place the box in front of it and don't prevent the cat from getting litter on its paws once inside. Multi-stage systems are known, but an integrated solution is lacking in which the cat automatically sheds litter when entering and leaving the toilet, without the need for additional external elements. Object of the invention The object of the invention is to provide a cat toilet that prevents cat litter from being carried into the surrounding area when entering and leaving the toilet, while at the same time allowing natural, safe and comfortable movement of the cat. Solution to the task The problem is solved by a two-tiered litter box, where the cat first enters an upper level with a specially designed slotted floor. The slots are sized so that the cat can walk safely on them, while at the same time cat litter clinging to its paws falls through the slots. At the end of the upper level is an opening through which the cat enters the lower level, which is the actual toilet chamber containing cat litter. When leaving the toilet, the cat follows the same path, thus separating litter from its paws and returning it to the lower level. The litter falls through the slots directly into the toilet chamber or into a collection area below. Examples of implementation 1. Design (large version) The first embodiment comprises: • an upper level with a slotted floor, • slots with a width selected to allow cat paws to rest securely, • a lower level with a toilet chamber filled with cat litter, • an opening between the upper and lower levels, • side walls, • a lid and a front flap for opening, • a return function whereby litter falls back through the slots into the lower level. This version is designed for households with multiple cats. 2. Design (smaller version) The invention can be implemented in a more compact design that functions according to the same technical principle. The smaller embodiment includes: • a shortened upper level with a similarly slotted running surface, • identical slot geometry for litter return, • a smaller toilet chamber in the lower level, • a proportional opening between the levels, • reduced external dimensions for space-saving installation, • a lid and a front flap for opening. The functionality is identical to the first version. The smaller version is particularly suitable for one cat and households with limited space. Note on the variability of the invention The invention can be implemented in different sizes, shapes and material versions, as long as the basic technical principle of two-stage scatter return by means of a slotted running surface is retained.

Two-tiered litter box comprising: an upper level with a slotted walking floor, wherein the slots are dimensioned to allow a cat to walk on it, and wherein cat litter adhering to the paws falls through the slots, and a lower level forming a toilet chamber filled with cat litter, and an opening through which the cat can pass from the upper level to the lower level. Cat litter box according to claim 1, wherein the slotted running surface extends over the entire length of the upper level. Cat litter box according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the slots have a width between 4 and 10 millimeters. Cat litter box according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the upper level forms an inclined surface. Cat litter box according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the litter falls directly into the toilet chamber through the slots. Cat litter box according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the upper level has lateral boundary walls. Cat litter box according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the cat, upon leaving the toilet chamber, passes through the same slotted floor again. Cat litter box according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the slotted floor is made of a non-slip material. Cat litter box according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the upper level has a closed or partially closed cover.
