Description

Watchmaking mechanism Technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to a clockwork mechanism for a chronograph watch. The present invention also relates to a clockwork movement comprising such a mechanism, as well as a timepiece, for example a chronograph watch, in particular a wrist chronograph watch, comprising such a mechanism or such a movement. Although the mechanism according to the invention can be used in a chronograph watch, it is not limited to such an application, but it can also be used for any other clockwork application which requires the control or actuation of a function, for example and in a non-limiting manner, it can be used in a split-seconds clockwork mechanism, a minute repeater clockwork mechanism, a countdown clockwork mechanism, for example for a regatta watch, etc. State of the art

[0002] A chronograph watch is a timepiece that can measure time. Typically, a chronograph watch includes at least one indicator (such as a hand) that can be started and stopped by a push-piece or other control element to measure time. It can then be returned to its starting point. Chronograph watches generally also include indicators for displaying the current time in addition to displaying the measured time.

[0003] When a push-piece (or other actuating device) of a chronograph watch is first pressed, the indicator or second hand (also called "chronograph seconds indicator" or "chronograph seconds hand"), which is at rest on the zero division of the dial, starts to move (start phase or "start"). A second press on the same pusher or on another pusher has the effect of stopping the second hand at the precise point where it is at the time of this press (stop phase). By a third press, on the same pusher or on another one, the second hand quickly returns to its starting point, that is to say to the zero division of the dial (reset phase). In this way, it is possible to measure a duration in seconds.

[0004] The three phases or functions of a chronograph watch are therefore start, stop and reset.

[0005] In some chronograph watches, the energy source required to set in motion the kinematic chain enabling the measurement of a time duration is independent of that of the kinematic chain enabling the counting and display of the current time. However, in most cases, chronograph watches draw the energy required to operate the part of the movement enabling the measurement of a time duration from the kinematic chain enabling the counting and display of the current time, that is to say from the kinematic chain linking an energy source, for example a barrel, to the regulating organ and the wheels of the watch, which are linked to the indicators of the watch in order to display the current hour, minutes and / or seconds.

[0006] In these cases, in order to extract the energy needed to set in motion the kinematic chain allowing the measurement of a time duration, it is necessary to create a clutch between the kinematic chain which allows the current time to be counted and displayed and that which allows a time duration to be measured.

[0007] Two main organs are used in the majority of chronograph watch mechanism operations, namely clutch mechanisms and control mechanisms.

[0008] Clutch mechanisms allow the chronograph drive train to be driven by the drive train to count and display the current time. In particular, clutch mechanisms allow the chronograph drive train to be started and stopped very quickly, and also to be locked while keeping the chronograph indicator(s) stopped.

[0009] Various types of clutch mechanisms, including vertical, horizontal and oscillating pinion clutch mechanisms, are known in the art per se and will not be described here.

[0010] Known control mechanisms can be, for example, cam or column wheel.

[0011] The column wheel is generally made in one piece and comprises a ratchet and columns perpendicular to the ratchet. The columns create in a known manner solids and voids to control the various movements of the levers which are supported against a column or located between two columns. The levers and their movements which allow the "start", "stop" and "reset" functions to be carried out are known in the technical field and therefore they will not be described here.

[0012] The cam control mechanism generally consists of two parts, at least partially overlapping (also called shuttles), which are secured to each other. The cam is used to control levers to perform functions like the column wheel.

[0013] Documents CH716594 and CH716595 propose an alternative to known column wheels which have a relatively large thickness and are difficult to manufacture. The proposed solution is a mechanism comprising a single-layer part capable of rotating (always called "column wheel" in these documents), elastically connected to a frame and provided with two stable positions relative to the frame, this part being movable between these two stable positions by actuating a lever. The lever is connected to the frame by at least one flexible blade, which ensures the lever a preferred position to which it automatically returns after leaving it. This mechanism is devoid of any mechanical pivot (rigid) and it only includes flexible pivots. It includes bistables, even when it is not mounted in a watch movement. It has a thinner thickness than known mechanisms. This mechanism does not allow a reset.

[0014] Document EP3582029 describes a split-second mechanism comprising a single-piece split-second clamp. This clamp comprises two branches and a deformable elastic transverse arm which connects the two branches to each other. This arm is equipped at its ends with two pivoting members arranged to rotate around two parallel axes. The two branches can therefore move apart and towards each other thanks to the elastic transverse arm. The elastic transverse arm is subjected to stresses which make its undeformed configuration unstable. In order to find a stable configuration in which the stresses are reduced, the elastic transverse arm adopts a bent or curved shape.A moving part is arranged to cooperate with the elastic transverse arm so that, when a control device is switched, the passage of the moving part from one to the other of its two configurations causes the curvature of the elastic transverse arm to change, which causes the flyback clamp to open and close alternately. The two branches of the flyback clamp are arranged to cooperate with a flyback wheel so that the flyback wheel is immobilized or free to rotate depending on whether the flyback clamp is respectively closed or open.

[0015] The mechanism of document EP3582029 has certain disadvantages: the transverse arm is guided by two pins. The action of these pins in correspondence with the same place of the transverse arm, which is relatively thin, risks damaging or even breaking the transverse arm. In addition, the rotation of the (rigid) pivoting members is caused by the flexion of the arm: this causal link makes the operation of the mechanism less efficient.

[0016] Document EP3327518 describes a chronograph mechanism capable of switching between a first state and a second state, comprising, among other things, a first bipolar magnet, a second bipolar magnet having magnetic interaction with the first bipolar magnet, and a high magnetic permeability element forming a control member. The operation of this mechanism is not entirely mechanical, as it also relies on a magnetic interaction between these components.

[0017] Document US2019332061 describes a flexible monolithic component for transmitting the movement of an actuator to a driven part. The monolithic component comprises a first rigid drive member fixed to the rigid frame by an elastically flexible structure, and a possible second rigid functional member fixed to the rigid frame by a second elastically flexible structure. An actuating finger slides on a portion of a first rigid drive member generating a movement of the latter controlled by the blades. One end of the hook-shaped rigid drive member constitutes a driving means capable of engaging with the teeth of the driven part. The driving means performs a movement having a parallel component and a component perpendicular to the circumference of the driven part. Thus, the entire first drive member performs an alternating two-dimensional oscillation movement, thanks to the elastic deformation of the blades.

[0018] Document EP3876042 describes a system for resetting a chronograph, comprising a minute counter having a minute wheel, and a second counter, which comprises a chrono wheel. A hammer is held locked by a locking means and is movable between an inactive position and an active position. A flexible element connected between a reset control means and the hammer is used for resetting the chronograph, and is configured in such a way as to store energy during a movement of the control means before the unlocking of the hammer by the locking means, to be able to restore this stored energy in measurement at the time of unlocking of the hammer, and to drive the hammer for resetting the chronograph. [0088] In the following description provided by way of example, reference will be made, for simplicity, to a watch mechanism for a chronograph watch. It should however be understood that the invention is not limited to such an application, but also includes any other watch application which requires the control or actuation of a function, for example and in a non-limiting manner, it can be used in a split-seconds watch mechanism, a minute repeater watch mechanism, a countdown watch mechanism, etc.

[0089] In the context of the present application, the expression "flexible blade" designates a blade or a beam, arranged to deform elastically in a main plane of the watch mechanism according to the invention, for example according to a bending movement.

[0090] In the context of the present application, the term "bistable" designates a watch component arranged to occupy two stable positions relative to a frame of the watch mechanism according to the invention, and which can be moved between these two stable positions.

[0091] In the context of the present application, the adjective "rigid" indicates that the component to which this adjective refers is not intended to be deformed during the operation of the watch mechanism according to the invention, and it has a rigidity greater than that of flexible blades.

[0092] Figure 1 illustrates a perspective view of an embodiment of the clockwork mechanism 1000 according to the invention. In this embodiment, the clockwork mechanism 1000 belongs to the main plane xy and comprises: - a first actuating device 6, for example an actuating device 6 for the start and stop phases, - a pivoting part 3, arranged to pivot under the action of the first actuating device 6 around an axis z perpendicular to the plane main xy, - a first frame 7, - a first rigid part 1, arranged between the first frame 7 and the first pivoting part 3, - a first flexible blade 5A and connecting the first rigid part 1 to the first pivoting part 3, - two second flexible blades 5B and connecting the first rigid part 1 to the first frame 7, and - a locking part 8, arranged to activate or prevent - as will be seen - the resetting of the indicator associated with the core 200 via a second actuating device 9. In other words, the locking part 8 is arranged to lock the second actuating device 9, for example in the starting phase.

[0093] The assembly of the first rigid part 1, the first flexible blade 5A, and at least one second flexible blade 5B forms a first bistable.

[0094] The clockwork mechanism 1000 comprises a mechanical pivot (not shown) having a main axis offset in the main xy plane relative to the axis of rotation of the pivoting part 3 in a non-pre-stressed or initial state, the pivoting part 3 being mounted on this mechanical pivot. In one embodiment, the pin 34 visible in FIG. 1 is mounted on this pivot. In this case, the main axis of the pivot corresponds to the main axis of the pin 34. The presence of this pivot ensures the pre-stressing of the flexible blades 5A, 5B.

[0095] The pivoting part 3 therefore pivots around the mechanical pivot, which in the illustrated embodiment is fixed relative to the frame 7.

[0096] Figure 16A illustrates a top view of the pivoting part 3, the frame 7, the first rigid part 1, the first flexible blade 5A and the two second flexible blades 5B, the flexible blades 5A and 5B not being prestressed.

[0097] Figure 16B illustrates a top view of the mechanism of Figure 16A in which the flexible blades 5A and 5B are pre-stressed, because the pivoting part 3 is mounted on a mechanical pivot (not shown) having a main axis offset in the main xy plane relative to the axis of rotation of the pivoting part 3 in a non-prestressed state (that of Figure 16A), the position of the frame 7 being the same in the non-prestressed (Figure 16A) and pre-stressed (Figure 16B) states. Figure 16C, which is a superposition of Figures 16A and 16B, illustrates the offset d1 between the two axes of rotation. In one embodiment, the offset d1 is less than one tenth of the length of the shorter flexible blade 5A, 5B.

[0098] The presence of the mechanical pivot (rigid) offset from the axis of the pivoting part 3 in its non-pre-stressed or initial state makes it possible to make the assembly of the first rigid part 1 and the flexible blades 5A, 5B bistable. In other words, the same assembly is not bistable when the pivoting part 3 is not mounted on the pivot which pre-stresses the blades 5A, 5B. In other words, the assembly is bistable by the pre-stressed flexible blades 5A, 5B thanks to this pivot offset from the axis of rotation of the pivoting part 3 in its non-pre-stressed or initial state.

[0099] The presence of the pre-stressed flexible blades 5A, 5B thanks to this offset pivot makes it possible to obtain a bistable assembly which has a stroke (i.e. a path from one stable position to the other and vice versa) sufficiently long, which makes it possible to use the clockwork mechanism according to the invention also for a reset.

[0100] Thus, in the mechanism according to the invention, the pivoting of the pivoting part 3 causes a deformation of the flexible blades 5A and 5B. This deformation causes a displacement (by translation in the case of Figure 1) of the first rigid part 1, and after this displacement a function (the start or stop of a chronograph in the case of Figure 1) is executed.

[0101] When the pivoting part 3 rotates, the assembly formed by the rigid part 1 and the flexible blades 5A, 5B moves in the main plane xy, from a first stable position relative to the frame 7, to a second stable position relative to the frame 7.

[0102] In one embodiment, the pivoting part 3 also rotates from a first stable position relative to the frame 7 to a second stable position relative to the frame 7. In one embodiment, when the pivoting part 3 is in its first stable position, the bistable assembly is also in its first stable position, and when the pivoting part 3 is in its second stable position, the bistable assembly is also in its second stable position. In this embodiment, in other words, the assembly formed by the rigid part 1, the flexible blades 5A, 5B, and the first pivoting part 3 is also a bistable assembly.

[0103] The first actuating device 6 of the watch mechanism 1000 according to the invention moves, for example with a rotational and / or translational movement, under the action of a user of the watch (for example of a wristwatch) comprising the watch mechanism 1000. Its movement causes the pivoting part 3 of the watch mechanism 1000 to pivot around the z axis. The pivoting part 3 is therefore an interaction part, because it interacts, directly or indirectly, with the first actuating device 6.

[0104] Different embodiments of the actuating device 6 may be envisaged, and that of FIG. 1 should not be considered as limiting. The actuating device 6 may for example be in one piece or comprise several components, connected together with removable or non-removable connecting means. The actuating device 6 may for example comprise flexible blades or be devoid of such blades. The actuating device 6 may for example move with a rotational and / or translational movement.

[0105] In this context, the adjective "monobloc" indicates that the component to which this adjective refers is made in a monolithic manner.

[0106] In the embodiment of Figure 1, the actuating device 6 is in one piece and comprises a main body 60, in particular a rigid main body, which is connected on one side and on the other to two flexible blades 61, 62. In the embodiment of Figure 1, each flexible blade has an “S” shape and ends with an end 64 respectively 65 in correspondence of which the actuating device 6 is connected to a frame (not shown). The first actuating device 6 of Figure 1 moves with a roto-translation movement.

[0107] In the embodiment of Figure 1, the actuating device 6 comes into direct contact with the first pivoting part 3. In particular, it comprises a contact portion 63 in the form of a projection, which comes into contact with the first pivoting part 3. However, direct contact between the actuating device 6 and the first pivoting part 3 is not essential, as long as the actuating device 6 causes (directly or indirectly) the pivoting of the pivoting part 3 about the z axis.

[0108] When the pivoting part 3 pivots around the z axis, the flexible blades 5A and 5B, which are prestressed, deform, actuating the first rigid part 1 and causing it to move in the main xy plane.

[0109] Although in the embodiment of Figure 1 there are two second flexible blades 5B connecting the first rigid part 1 to the first pivoting part 3, the clockwork mechanism according to the invention could also operate with a single flexible blade 5B. However, the presence of two second flexible blades 5B makes it possible to better control the movement of the first rigid part 1, which in particular performs a translational movement in the principal xy plane, especially along the y direction.

[0110] Each flexible blade 5A and 5B is prestressed, namely it is deformed during its assembly in the watch mechanism 1000, for example visible in FIG. 3A, which illustrates a top view of a part of a watch mechanism 1000 according to an embodiment of the invention, at rest, in a first stable position. The prestressing of each flexible blade 5A and 5B is linked to the presence of the mechanical pivot having a main axis offset in the main plane xy relative to the axis of rotation of the pivoting part 3. In one embodiment, each flexible blade 5A and 5B is prestressed by deforming it in the xy plane.

[0111] Thanks to the prestressing of the flexible blades 5A and 5B, following the pivoting of the pivoting part 3, the displacement of the first rigid part 1 also actuates a deformation of the flexible blades 5A and 5B, which allows both the first rigid part 1 and the pivoting part 3, as well as each flexible blade 5A and 5B, to move from a first stable position to a second stable position, illustrated in Figure 3B. In particular, the first rigid part 1 moves from the first stable position of Figure 3A to the second stable position of Figure 3B with a translational movement in the direction of arrow B, thanks to the presence of two second flexible blades 5B. The pivoting part 3 moves from the first stable position of Figure 3A to the second stable position of Figure 3B with a rotational movement in the direction of arrow A.

[0112] Returning to the embodiment of Figure 1, each flexible blade 5A and 5B has a height in a direction parallel to the z-axis, which is at least five times greater than its thickness in the xy-plane, and which is at least ten times smaller than its length in a direction substantially parallel to the x-axis. The aspect ratio of each flexible blade 5A and 5B defines its flexibility in the plane of interest.

[0113] Each flexible blade 5A and 5B may be substantially perpendicular to the main xy plane, namely its height may be substantially perpendicular to the main xy plane, as illustrated in the embodiment of Figure 1.

[0114] The first flexible blade 5A, in particular its first end 50A which is connected to the first rigid part 1, may also be substantially perpendicular to a first lateral surface 15A of the first rigid part 1. In particular, it may form an angle α which at rest belongs to the range 80°-100°, in particular to the range 85°-95°, for example to the range 87°-93°, as illustrated in the embodiment of FIG. 1. This inclination introduces an asymmetry in the behavior of the bistable assembly formed by the rigid part 1 and the blades 5A, 5B. In the case of perpendicularity (α substantially equal to 90°), the travel of the bistable assembly during its translational movement is the same regardless of the direction of movement.Otherwise (α different from 90°), the stroke is no longer the same if the bistable assembly moves from a first stable position to a second stable position with respect to the opposite direction (i.e., when the bistable assembly moves from the second stable position to the first stable position). The total stroke between the stable position and the moment of the jump (the moment of the change of state, when the mechanism has a tendency to go towards the other stable position and not to go back), i.e. the total stroke between the two stable positions remains substantially the same.

[0115] The first flexible blade 5A can be connected to the first rigid part 1 in correspondence with a non-central (or peripheral) position of the first lateral surface 15A of the first rigid part 1, as illustrated in the embodiment of FIG. 1.

[0116] The first flexible blade 5A also comprises a second end 51A, opposite the first end 50A, which is connected to the pivoting part 3.

[0117] In one embodiment, the first flexible blade 5A may be a separate part from the pivoting part 3 and the first rigid part 1 and it is connected to the pivoting part 3 respectively to the first rigid part 1 with known connecting means, removable or non-removable.

[0118] In another embodiment, the first flexible blade 5A can form a single piece with the pivoting piece 3 and / or the first rigid piece 1.

[0119] In one embodiment (not shown), the clockwork mechanism 1000 comprises two (or more) first flexible blades 5A. In one embodiment (not shown), at least some of these first flexible blades 5A are parallel to each other.

[0120] In the case where the clockwork mechanism comprises two (or more) second flexible blades 5B, at least some of these second flexible blades 5B are parallel to each other, as illustrated for example in figure 1.

[0121] Each second flexible blade 5B, in particular its end 50B which is connected to the first rigid part 1, can also be substantially perpendicular to a second lateral surface 15B of the first rigid part 1. In particular, it can form an angle β which at rest belongs to the range 80°-100°, in particular to the range 85°-95°, for example to the range 87°-93°, as illustrated in the embodiment of figure 1.

[0122] In the case of non-perpendicularity (β different from 90°), the bistable assembly formed by the rigid part 1 and the blades 5A, 5B has different kinematics from a perpendicular bistable assembly in which β is substantially equal to 90°. For example, if β = 87°, it is possible to create an asymmetry in the kinematics of the bistable assembly, which can be used during resetting.

[0123] Each second flexible blade 5B can be connected to the first rigid part 1 in correspondence with a peripheral position of the second lateral surface 15B of the first rigid part 1, as illustrated in the embodiment of FIG. 1.

[0124] Each second flexible blade 5B also comprises a second end 51B, opposite the first end 50B, which is connected to a frame 7.

[0125] In one embodiment, the second flexible blade 5B may be a separate part from the first rigid part 1 and from the frame 7, and connected to the first rigid part 1 respectively to the frame 7 with known connecting means, removable or non-removable.

[0126] In another embodiment, the second flexible blade 5B can form a single piece with the first rigid piece 1 and / or the frame 7.

[0127] In one embodiment, at least some of the flexible blades 5A and / or 5B comprise one or more recesses or (through) openings 55A respectively 55B, for example in the xz plane, making it possible to reduce their bending rigidity (and therefore the stresses in the material), to lighten their weight and / or to (better) control their deformation. In one embodiment, these openings have a rectangular or polygonal shape, but any other shape can be envisaged.

[0128] Although in the embodiment of Figure 1, the first flexible blade 5A and the second flexible blades 5B project on a first side respectively on a second side opposite to the first from the first rigid part 1, in another embodiment, they project on the same side from the first rigid part 1.

[0129] In one embodiment, the clockwork mechanism 1000 comprises two or more first flexible blades 5A in series, and (at least) one additional rigid part (not shown) connecting two consecutive first flexible blades 5A. In a variant, the set of first flexible blades 5A and the additional rigid part(s) form a single-piece part.

[0130] In one embodiment, the clockwork mechanism 1000 comprises several second flexible blades 5B in series, and (at least) one additional rigid part (not shown) connecting two consecutive second flexible blades 5A. In one variant, the set of second flexible blades 5A and the additional rigid part(s) form a single-piece part.

[0131] In one embodiment, the clockwork mechanism 1000 comprises a clutch mechanism 100. Although in the example of FIG. 1 this clutch mechanism 100 is a clutch mechanism comprising a clutch return wheel 101 and a flange 102, this embodiment should not be considered limiting: the clockwork mechanism 1000 may comprise another type of clutch mechanism 100, for example a horizontal clutch mechanism, with an oscillating pinion, etc.

[0132] In the embodiment of Figure 1, the clutch mechanism 100 is coaxial with a core 200, linked to an indicator member (not shown), for example an indicator member of a measured time.

[0133] In one embodiment, when the first rigid part 1 is in a first stable position, it activates the clutch mechanism in order to perform a clutch engagement, and when it is in a second stable position, it deactivates the clutch mechanism in order to perform a disengagement. In the case where the watch mechanism 1000 is used in a chronograph watch, the first rigid part 1 allows the activation of the start / stop functions. In particular, the functions of start / stop are performed after the movement of the first rigid part 1.

[0134] The activation of the clutch mechanism 100 by the first rigid part 1 can be carried out in different ways, directly or indirectly, for example and in a non-limiting manner by contact, pinching, movement, etc.

[0135] The body 10 of the first rigid part 1 may be clamp-shaped or U-shaped, as in the example illustrated in FIG. 1. This shape does not necessarily imply that the first rigid part 1 clamps the clutch mechanism 100 in order to activate it.

[0136] In another embodiment, the clockwork mechanism comprises several clutch mechanisms 100 and the first rigid part 1 is arranged to activate these clutch mechanisms.

[0137] In one embodiment, the first rigid part 1 comprises one or more recesses or (through) openings, for example openings in the xy plane, in order to reduce its inertia and / or in order to activate a function. In one embodiment, these openings have a rectangular or polygonal shape, but any other shape can be envisaged.

[0138] The first rigid part 1 may comprise (at least) one projection 18 which may cooperate with the first rigid portion 81 of the locking part 8. In the example of FIG. 1, the stopper 80 belongs to the locking part 8, arranged to lock the second actuating device 9, as will be seen later.

[0139] In one embodiment, the first rigid part 1 is a single-piece part.

[0140] In one embodiment, the first rigid part 1 forms a single piece with the first flexible blade 5A and / or the second flexible blade 5B.

[0141] The frame 7 may comprise one or more (through) holes 70, in order to fix it to a bridge or a plate of a movement comprising the watch mechanism 1000 according to the invention, for example via screws (not illustrated in FIG. 1). However, the frame 7 may be fixed to a bridge or a plate with other fixing means, for example via one or more pins, for example pins on pivots (not illustrated). The use of pivots makes it possible to reduce the stresses in the blades 5A, 5B which are high and can cause mechanical breakage. It also makes it possible to increase the thicknesses of the blades 5A, 5B, while keeping the stresses acceptable and therefore the force either to actuate the clutch or to return the heart 200 to its initial position.

[0142] The frame 7 can be fixed to a bridge or a plate for example via also one or more additional flexible blades (not illustrated), placed between the blades 5A and / or 5B and the frame 7, which also make it possible to reduce the stresses in the material of the blades 5A, 5B when moving from one stable position to the other, which makes it possible to widen the blades 5A, 5B in the xy plane, in order to increase the strength of the bistable assembly to activate functions more easily and / or improve shock resistance. In one embodiment, these additional flexible blades form an angle different from 180° with the blades 5A and / or 5B.

[0143] The locking part 8 may comprise a first rigid portion 81 and a second rigid portion 82, connected to each other by one or more flexible blades 83. The stopper 80 may belong to a rigid portion, for example to the first rigid portion 81, as illustrated in FIG. 1. In the case where the two rigid portions 81, 82 are connected by two or more flexible blades 83, at least some may be parallel, as illustrated in FIG. 1.

[0144] Figure 2 illustrates a perspective view of another embodiment of the timepiece mechanism 1000 according to the invention, comprising, in addition to the components illustrated in Figure 1: - a second pivoting part 4, connected to the first pivoting part 3 (for example via a pin 34 mounted on the pivot according to the invention), and arranged to also pivot about an axis z, - a second frame 7', - a second rigid part 2, arranged between the second frame 7' and the second pivoting part 4, - a first flexible blade 5A' and connecting the second rigid part 2 to the second pivoting part 4, - two second flexible blades 5B' and connecting the second rigid part 2 to the second frame 7', and - a second actuating device 9, for example an actuating device for resetting the indicator associated with the heart 200.

[0145] In one embodiment, the assembly of the second rigid part 2 and the flexible blades 5A', 5B' forms a second bistable assembly.

[0146] In one embodiment, the second pivoting part 4 is also mounted on the same mechanical pivot of the first pivoting part 3, and the main axis of the mechanical pivot (which may correspond to the main axis of the pin 34) is offset in the x'y' plane also with respect to the axis of rotation of the second pivoting part 4 in a non-pre-stressed or initial state. Indeed, in the illustrated embodiment, the axis of rotation of the second pivoting part 4 corresponds to the axis of rotation of the first pivoting part 3. This ensures the pre-stressing of both the flexible blades 5A', 5B'.

[0147] The pivoting part 4 therefore pivots around the mechanical pivot, which in the illustrated embodiment is fixed relative to the frame 7'.

[0148] Figure 17A illustrates a top view of the pivoting part 4, the frame 7', the second rigid part 2, the first flexible blade 5A' and the two second flexible blades 5B', the flexible blades 5A' and 5B' not being prestressed.

[0149] Figure 17B illustrates a top view of the mechanism of Figure 17A in which the flexible blades 5A' and 5B' are pre-stressed, because the pivoting part 4 is mounted on a mechanical pivot (not shown) having a main axis offset in the main xy plane relative to the axis of rotation of the pivoting part 4 in a non-pre-stressed state (that of Figure 17A), the position of the frame 7' being the same in the non-pre-stressed (Figure 17A) and pre-stressed (Figure 17B) states. Figure 17C, which is a superposition of Figures 17A and 17B, illustrates the offset d2 between the two axes of rotation. In one embodiment, the offset d2 is less than one tenth of the length of the shorter flexible blade 5A', 5B'.

[0150] The presence of the mechanical pivot (rigid) offset from the axis of the pivoting part 4 makes it possible to make the assembly of the second rigid part 2 and the blades 5A', 5B' bistable. In other words, the same assembly is not bistable when the pivoting part 4 is not mounted on the pivot, which prestresses the blades 5A', 5B'.

[0151] When the second pivoting part 4 rotates, the assembly formed by the second rigid part 2 and the blades 5A', 5B' moves in a plane, from a first stable position relative to the frame 7, to a second stable position relative to the frame 7.

[0152] In one embodiment, the second pivoting part 4 also rotates from a first stable position relative to the frame 7, to a second stable position relative to the frame 7. In one embodiment, when the second pivoting part 4 is in its first stable position, the bistable assembly formed by the second rigid part 2 and the blades 5A', 5B' is also in its first stable position and when the second pivoting part 4 is in its second stable position, this bistable assembly is also in its second stable position. In this embodiment, in other words, the assembly formed by the second rigid part 2, the blades 5A', 5B' and the second pivoting part 4 is also a bistable assembly.

[0153] In one embodiment (not shown), the flexible blades 5A and 5B, the first rigid part 1, the first pivoting part 3 and the first frame 7, as well as the flexible blades 5A' and 5B', the second rigid part 2, the second pivoting part 4 and the second frame 7' all belong to the same xy plane. In other words, in this embodiment, the first bistable assembly and the second bistable assembly are coplanar.

[0154] In one embodiment (not shown), the first bistable assembly and the second bistable assembly belong to two planes inclined relative to each other.

[0155] In one embodiment, an example of which is illustrated in Figure 2, the first bistable set and the second bistable set belong to two parallel planes, xy and x'y'.

[0156] Although in the embodiment of Figure 2 the x'y' plane is above the xy plane, this embodiment is not limiting and in another embodiment (not shown) the x'y' plane may be below the xy plane.

[0157] In one embodiment, the xy plane is that of a first planar plate and the x'y' plane is that of a second planar plate.

[0158] In one embodiment, each of the first wafer and the second wafer may be produced by photolithography from a wafer, for example a silicon wafer, by laser cutting, by LIGA (for "Röntgenlithographie, Galvanoformung und Abformung"), etc. In one embodiment, at least one between the first plate and the second plate is made of a composite material comprising a forest of juxtaposed nanotubes held by a matrix. In one variant, the nanotubes are carbon nanotubes. In one variant, the matrix comprises amorphous carbon. In other variants, the nanotubes are made of other materials, for example boron nitride (“boron nitride nanotubes”, BNNT) or silicon. In one variant, at least one between the first plate and the second plate is made of steel. In another variant, at least one between the first plate and the second plate is made of glass, sapphire or alumina, diamond, in particular synthetic diamond (in particular synthetic diamond obtained by a chemical vapor deposition process), titanium, titanium alloy (in particular an alloy from the Gum metal (R) family) or an alloy from the elinvar family, in particular Elinvar (R), Nivarox (R), Thermelast (R), NI-Span-C (R) and Precision C (R), shape memory alloy, in particular Nitinol, or plastic.

[0159] In one embodiment, the second pivoting part 4 is arranged to rotate under the action of the first actuating device 6, so as to deform the first blade 5A' and the second blade 5B', by moving in the x'y' plane the second bistable (namely the second rigid part 2, as well as each flexible blade 5A' and 5B'), from a first stable position relative to the second frame 7', to a second stable position relative to the second frame 7', by performing a second function, different from the first performed by the movement of the first bistable (namely the first rigid part 1 and the blades 5A, 5B).

[0160] In one embodiment, the movement of the first bistable allows the activation of a clutch and the movement of the second bistable allows the resetting of an indicator member associated with the heart 200.

[0161] In one embodiment, for at least one function of the clockwork mechanism 1000 according to the invention, when the first set bistable assembly moves, the second bistable assembly remains stationary and vice versa. In one embodiment, at stop, only the first bistable assembly moves and at reset, only the second bistable assembly moves.

[0162] In one embodiment, for at least one other function of the timepiece mechanism 1000 according to the invention, when the first bistable assembly moves, the second bistable assembly also moves. In one embodiment, at start, both bistable assemblies move.

[0163] In one embodiment, for at least one function of the watch mechanism 1000 according to the invention, when the first pivoting part 3 rotates, the second pivoting part 4 remains stationary and vice versa. In one embodiment, when stopped, only the first pivoting part 3 moves and when reset, only the second pivoting part 4 moves.

[0164] In one embodiment, for at least one other function of the clockwork mechanism 1000 according to the invention, the first pivoting part 3 rotates, the second pivoting part 4 also moves. In one embodiment, at start, the two pivoting parts 3, 4 move.

[0165] In one embodiment, for at least one function of the watch mechanism 1000 according to the invention, the first rigid part 1 is at least partially superimposed on the second rigid part 2, as illustrated for example in FIG. 2. In another embodiment (not illustrated), the first rigid part 1 is not superimposed on the second rigid part 2.

[0166] In one embodiment, for at least one function of the watch mechanism 1000 according to the invention, the first flexible blade 5A is at least partially superimposed on the first flexible blade 5A', and / or the second flexible blade 5B is at least partially superimposed on the second flexible blade 5B'.

[0167] Although in the embodiment of Figure 2, the body 20 of the second rigid part 2 also has a U-shape similar to that of the first rigid part 1, in other embodiments, it does not have the same or similar shape. In other embodiments, it also does not have the same or similar dimensions.

[0168] Although in the embodiment of Figure 2, the first flexible blade 5A has a shape and dimensions similar to those of the flexible blade 5A', in other embodiments the first two blades 5A and 5A' do not have an equal or similar shape or dimensions.

[0169] Although in the embodiment of Figure 2, the second flexible blades 5B have a shape and dimensions similar to those of the flexible blades 5B', in other embodiments the second blades 5B and 5B' do not have an equal or similar shape or dimensions.

[0170] The considerations made above with reference to Figure 1 for the first flexible blade 5A and the second flexible blade 5B apply mutatis mutandis to the first flexible blade 5A' respectively to the second flexible blade 5B'.

[0171] The considerations made above with reference to figure 1 for the first frame 7 apply mutatis mutandis to the second frame 7'.

[0172] In one embodiment, the first frame 7 and the second frame 7' form a single piece. In another embodiment, the first frame 7 is connected to the second frame 7' with connecting means, removable or non-removable.

[0173] In one embodiment, when the second rigid part 2 is in a stable position, it activates the resetting of the organ indicator (not shown) associated with the heart 200. In the case where the watch mechanism 1000 is used in a chronograph watch, the second rigid part 2 is therefore, together with the blades 5A' and 5B', a reset bistable. The reset function is carried out after the movement of the second rigid part 2.

[0174] The second rigid part 2 may comprise (at least) a hammer portion 22 which may cooperate with the core 200, acting as a known hammer during the reset phase, as will be seen later.

[0175] The activation of the reset by the second rigid part 2 can be carried out in different ways, directly or indirectly, for example and in a non-limiting manner, by contact (direct or indirect) of the hammer portion 22 with the core 200.

[0176] The second rigid part 2 can be clamp-shaped or U-shaped, as in the example illustrated in Figure 2.

[0177] In another embodiment, the clockwork mechanism comprises several cores 200 and the second rigid part 2 is arranged to activate these cores 200, for example with several hammer portions 22.

[0178] In one embodiment, the second rigid part 2 comprises one or more recesses or (through) openings, for example openings in the x'y' plane, in order to reduce its inertia and / or in order to be able to activate a function. In one embodiment, these openings have a rectangular or polygonal shape, but any other shape can be envisaged.

[0179] In one embodiment, the second rigid part 2 is a single-piece part.

[0180] In one embodiment, the second rigid part 2 forms a single piece with the first flexible blade 5A' and / or the second flexible blade 5B'.

[0181] In one embodiment, the second pivoting part 4 is arranged to cooperate with the first actuating device 6 and to pivot about a second axis perpendicular to the xy and x'y' planes.

[0182] In one embodiment, this second axis corresponds to the z axis of rotation of the first pivoting part, as illustrated in Figure 2.

[0183] In one embodiment, the first pivoting part 3 is at least partially superimposed on the second pivoting part 4, as illustrated in FIG. 2.

[0184] In one embodiment, the clockwork mechanism 1000 comprises the pin 34 on a (rigid) mechanical pivot or any other connecting means on a (rigid) mechanical pivot, a first end 341 of which is connected to the first pivoting part 3 and the second end 342, which is opposite the first end 341, is received in a through opening 40 of the second pivoting part 4, as best seen in FIGS. 7A to 7D, which illustrate a perspective view of the first and second pivoting parts 3, 4 in the phase prior to the start phase, in the start phase, in the stop phase, respectively in the reset phase. In particular, the second end 342 can move in the through opening 40 of the second pivoting part 4.

[0185] In one embodiment, each pivoting part 3, 4 comprises an interaction portion 36 respectively 46, arranged to interact (directly or indirectly) with an actuating device. In the example of FIGS. 7A and 7C, these interaction portions 36, 46 have a substantially triangular shape, but any other shape can be envisaged. The interaction portions 36, 46 do not necessarily have to have the same shape.

[0186] Although in the embodiment of Figure 2 it is the same actuating device 6 which actuates each pivoting part 3, 4, in another embodiment each pivoting part 3, 4 is actuated by a separate actuating device, for example pivoting part 3 is actuated by a start actuating device and pivoting part 4 is actuated by a stop actuating device.

[0187] In one embodiment, each pivoting part 3, 4 also comprises a portion (not referenced in the figures) in correspondence with which it is linked to the first flexible blade 5A respectively 5A'.

[0188] In one embodiment, the second pivoting part 4 comprises a reset portion 49, visible for example in FIGS. 7A to 7D, arranged to cooperate (directly as visible in FIG. 2, or indirectly) with the second actuating device 9.

[0189] In one embodiment, the reset portion 49 is a projection of the second pivoting part 4.

[0190] The second actuating device 9 may comprise a first rigid portion 91 and a second rigid portion 92, connected to each other by one or more flexible blades 93. In the case where the two rigid portions 91, 92 are connected by two or more flexible blades 93, at least some may be parallel, as illustrated in FIG. 2.

[0191] The second actuating device 9 may comprise an interaction portion 94, arranged to interact (directly as visible in FIG. 2, or indirectly) with the reset portion 49 of the second pivoting part 4.

[0192] The second actuating device 9 may comprise a housing 98 arranged to receive the stopper 80.

[0193] Figures 4 to 6 illustrate a top view of an embodiment of the clockwork mechanism according to the invention, in the start, stop or reset phase respectively.

[0194] Before actuating the actuating device 6, the first and second pivoting parts 3, 4 are (at least partially) superimposed as illustrated in FIG. 7D. The second end 342 of the pin 34 is in abutment against a first wall 41 of the through opening 40.

[0195] When the actuating device 6 is actuated, it causes both the first and second pivoting parts 3, 4 to rotate around the z axis, in the direction of arrow F1 in Figure 7B.

[0196] The pivoting of the first pivoting part 3 causes, thanks to the prestressed flexible blades 5A and 5B, a displacement, for example by translation along the direction of the arrow C visible in Figure 4, of the first part 1 and the blades 5A, 5B towards a first stable position, so as to produce a clutch. In the embodiment of Figure 4, this first stable position is distant from the flange 102, so that the clutch return wheel 101 comes into contact with the flange 102. After the displacement of the first part 1, the indicator member (not shown) connected to the flange 102 therefore starts to rotate (starting phase).

[0197] In this starting phase, the second rigid part 2 is pre-armed by means of the pin 34 between the first and second pivoting parts 3, 4.

[0198] In this starting phase, the movement of the first part 1 causes, via the projection 18, the movement of the first rigid portion 81 of the locking part 8. Following this movement, the flexible blades 83 of the locking part 8 deform, which allows the stopper 80 to be received in the housing 98 of the second actuating device 9, thus blocking its movement. In this starting phase, it is therefore not possible to activate the reset of the indicator organ associated with heart 200.

[0199] The locking part 8 is not necessary for the operation of the watch mechanism: for example, it may be absent if the watch mechanism 1000 is used in a “flyback” type chronograph, where it is not necessary to make a “stop” before “resetting to zero”.

[0200] By actuating the first actuating device 6 again (or by actuating another actuating device not shown), only the first pivoting part 3 is caused to pivot in a direction F2 opposite to that F1 at the start, as illustrated in FIG. 7C. The second pivoting part 4 does not move. Following the pivoting of the first pivoting part 3, the second end 342 of the pin 34 is in abutment against the second wall 42 of the opening 40, opposite the first wall 41.

[0201] The pivoting of the first pivoting part 3 causes, thanks to the prestressed flexible blades 5A and 5B, a displacement, for example by translation along the direction of the arrow D visible in Figure 5 (and opposite to the direction of the arrow C in Figure 4), of the first part 1 towards a second stable position, so as to interrupt the clutch. In the embodiment of Figure 5, this second stable position lifts the flange 102, so that the clutch return wheel 101 no longer comes into contact with the flange 102. After the displacement of the first part 1, the indicator member (not shown) connected to the flange 102 stops (stop phase).

[0202] In this stopping phase, the second rigid part 2 remains pre-armed by means of the pin 34 between the first and second pivoting parts 3, 4.

[0203] In this stopping phase, the movement of the first rigid part 1 stops the interaction of the projection 18 with the first rigid portion 81 of the locking part 8. The flexible blades 83 of the locking part 8 redeform, which allows the stopper 80 to come out of the housing 98 of the second actuating device 9, thereby releasing the locking part 8 from the second actuating device 9. It is therefore possible to actuate the second actuating device 9, in order to carry out a reset of the indicator member associated with the core 200.

[0204] By now actuating the second actuating device 9, only the second pivoting part 4 is caused to pivot in a direction F3 which is the same as the direction F2 of pivoting of the first pivoting part 3 when stopped, as illustrated in FIG. 7D. Indeed, in this embodiment, the second actuating device 9 acts directly on the second pivoting part 4.

[0205] By actuating the second actuating device 9, the first pivoting part 3 does not move. Following the pivoting of the second pivoting part 4, the second end 342 of the pin 34 is again in abutment against the first wall 41 of the opening 40, opposite the second wall 42.

[0206] The pivoting of the second pivoting part 4 causes, thanks to the prestressed flexible blades 5A' and 5B', a displacement, for example by translation along the direction of the arrow E visible in Figure 5 (which corresponds to the direction of the arrow D in Figure 5), of the second part 2 towards a second stable position, so as to actuate the heart 200 via the hammer portion 22. After the displacement of the second part 2, the reset of the indicator member is thus carried out.

[0207] Figure 8 illustrates a perspective view of the first rigid part 1 of the clockwork mechanism according to another embodiment of the invention.

[0208] In this embodiment also, the clockwork mechanism 1000 comprises a mechanical pivot (not shown) having a main axis offset in the main xy plane relative to the axis of rotation of the pivoting part 3 in a pre-stressed or initial state, the pivoting part 3 being mounted on this mechanical pivot. This pre-stresses the first flexible blade 5A and the second flexible blades 5B and makes the assembly formed by the rigid part 1, the first flexible blade 5A and the second flexible blade 5B bistable. In one embodiment, the pin 38 (or any other rigid connecting means) is mounted on this pivot.

[0209] The pivoting part 3 therefore pivots around the mechanical pivot, which in the illustrated embodiment is fixed relative to the frame 7B.

[0210] Figure 18A illustrates a top view of the pivoting part 3, the frame 7B, the body 10 of the first rigid part 1, the first flexible blade 5A and the two second flexible blades 5B, the flexible blades 5A and 5B not being prestressed.

[0211] Figure 18B illustrates a top view of the mechanism of Figure 18A in which the flexible blades 5A and 5B are prestressed, because the pivoting part 3 is mounted on a mechanical pivot (not shown) having a main axis offset in the main plane xy relative to the axis of rotation of the pivoting part 3 in a non-prestressed state (that of Figure 18A), the position of the frame 7B being the same in the non-prestressed state (Figure 18A) and prestressed state (Figure 18B). The presence of the mechanical pivot (rigid) offset relative to the axis of the pivoting part 3 in its non-prestressed or initial state makes it possible to make the assembly of the first rigid part 1 and the flexible blades 5A, 5B bistable. In other words, the same assembly is not bistable when the pivoting part 3 is not mounted on the pivot which pre-stresses the blades 5A, 5B. Figure 18C, which is a superposition of Figures 18A and 18B, illustrates the offset d3 between the two axes of rotation. In one embodiment, the offset d3 is less than one tenth of the length of the shortest flexible blade 5A, 5B.

[0212] In this embodiment, the body 10 of the first rigid part 1 has a polygonal, substantially rectangular shape. It comprises several through openings 11 of different shapes (for example triangular, trapezoidal, etc.), in order to reduce its inertia and / or in order to be able to activate a function.

[0213] In this embodiment, the first rigid part 1 comprises a housing 12 which is arranged to cooperate with a clutch mechanism, as will be seen later.

[0214] In this embodiment, the first flexible blade 5A can be connected to the first rigid part 1 in correspondence with a central position of the lateral surface 15A of the first rigid part 1.

[0215] In this embodiment, each second flexible blade 5B can be connected to the first rigid part 1 in correspondence with a peripheral position of a second lateral surface 15B of the first rigid part 1.

[0216] In this embodiment, the flexible blades 5A and 5B comprise one or more recesses or (through) openings 55A respectively 55B, in order to reduce their bending rigidity, to allow their weight to be reduced and / or to better control their deformation. In this embodiment, these openings have a rectangular shape, but any other shape can be envisaged.

[0217] The first pivoting part 3 according to this embodiment is arranged to pivot under the action of an actuating device 6 (visible in Figure 11) around the z axis. It carries a pin 38, which is arranged to cooperate with both the second pivoting part and a third pivoting part 66, as will be seen.

[0218] Unlike the embodiment of Figure 1, in this embodiment, the frame 7 does not directly connect the two second flexible blades 5B, but there are two frames 7B, each connected to a second flexible blade 5B.

[0219] In this case also, each frame 7B may comprise one or more (through) holes 70, in order to fix it to a bridge or a plate of a movement comprising the watch mechanism 1000 according to the invention, for example via screws (not illustrated in FIG. 8). However, the frame 7B may be fixed to a bridge or a plate with other fixing means, for example via one or more pins, for example pivot pins (not illustrated), or for example also via one or more additional flexible blades (not illustrated), as indicated for the embodiments of FIGS. 1 and 2.

[0220] In this embodiment, the first rigid part 1 forms a single piece with the first flexible blade 5A, the second flexible blades 5B and the frames 7B.

[0221] Figure 9 illustrates a perspective view of the second bistable of the clockwork mechanism according to another embodiment of the invention, which is intended to cooperate with the first bistable, as visible in Figure 10.

[0222] In this embodiment, the body 20 of the second rigid part 2 has a polygonal shape. It comprises several through openings 21 of different shapes (for example triangular, trapezoidal, etc.), in order to reduce its inertia and / or in order to be able to activate a function.

[0223] In this embodiment, the second rigid part 2 comprises several hammer portions 22, which are substantially perpendicular to the body 20 and which project on one side and the other from the body 20. Each hammer portion 22 is arranged to cooperate with a heart (not shown), upon resetting.

[0224] In one embodiment, the second rigid part 2 comprises a single hammer portion 22.

[0225] In one embodiment, the second rigid part 2 comprises several hammer portions 22 which all project on one side from the body 20.

[0226] The considerations made above for the first flexible blade 5A and the second flexible blade 5B of Figure 8 apply mutatis mutandis to the first flexible blade 5A' respectively to the second flexible blade 5B' of Figure 9.

[0227] The considerations made above for the first 7B frames apply mutatis mutandis to the second 7B' frames.

[0228] The second pivoting part 4 of this embodiment is arranged to pivot under the action of a second actuating device 9 (not illustrated in FIG. 11, but visible for example in FIG. 12A) around the same axis z of the first pivoting part. It is devoid of openings (unlike the second pivoting part 4 of FIG. 2) and comprises an end 43, which is arranged to cooperate with the pin 38 of the first pivoting part 3, as will be seen.

[0229] In this embodiment, the second rigid part 2 forms a single piece with the first flexible blade 5A', the second flexible blades 5B' and the frames 7B'.

[0230] Figure 19A illustrates a top view of the pivoting part 4, the frame 7B', the body 20 of the second rigid part 2, the first blade flexible 5A' and the two second flexible blades 5B', the flexible blades 5A' and 5B' not being prestressed.

[0231] Figure 19B illustrates a top view of the mechanism of Figure 19A in which the flexible blades 5A' and 5B' are prestressed, because the pivoting part 4 is mounted on a mechanical pivot (not shown) having a main axis offset in the main plane xy relative to the axis of rotation of the pivoting part 4 in a non-prestressed state (that of Figure 19A), the position of the frame 7B' being the same in the non-prestressed state (Figure 19A) and prestressed state (Figure 19B). The presence of the mechanical pivot (rigid) offset relative to the axis of the pivoting part 4 in its non-prestressed or initial state makes it possible to make the assembly of the first rigid part 1 and the flexible blades 5A', 5B' bistable. In other words, the same assembly is not bistable when the pivoting part 4 is not mounted on the pivot which pre-stresses the blades 5A', 5B'. Figure 19C, which is a superposition of Figures 19A and 19B, illustrates the offset d4 between the two axes of rotation. In one embodiment, the offset d4 is less than one tenth of the length of the shortest flexible blade 5A', 5B'.

[0232] Figure 10 illustrates a perspective view of the first bistable of Figure 8 and the second bistable of Figure 9. In this embodiment, the first rigid part 1 is at least partially superimposed on the second rigid part 2. Although in this embodiment all the openings 11 and 21 of the bodies of the first respectively second rigid parts 1, 2 are at least partially superimposed, this is not essential for the operation of the clockwork mechanism 1000.

[0233] Figure 11 illustrates a perspective view of the assembly of the first bistable and the second bistable of Figure 10, with a first actuating device 6 of the clockwork mechanism according to another embodiment of the invention.

[0234] In this embodiment, the first actuating device 6 comprises a spring 68, connected to a rocker-push button 67.

[0235] In this embodiment, the mechanism also comprises a third pivoting part 66, which is superimposed on the second pivoting part 4, the second pivoting part 4 being at least partially sandwiched between the first pivoting part 3 and the third pivoting part 66.

[0236] The third pivoting part 66 comprises a (through) opening 660 arranged to receive the free end of the pin 38 of the first pivoting part 3.

[0237] A second pin 346 (illustrated in FIG. 12A) is inserted into the through openings 30 and 40 of the first and second pivoting parts 3, 4 (which are substantially aligned as seen in FIG. 10) and one of its ends is also received in the through opening 670 of the rocker-pusher 67.

[0238] The second pin 346 therefore connects the first, second and third pivoting parts 3, 4, 66.

[0239] When the rocker-push button 67 is actuated, for example via a translational movement, the spring 68 causes the third pivoting part 66 to pivot around the z axis.

[0240] Figure 12A illustrates a top view of the clockwork mechanism 1000 according to another embodiment of the invention, in the phase prior to the starting phase. In this embodiment, the clockwork mechanism 1000 comprises, in addition to the components illustrated in Figure 11: - a clutch mechanism 100, - a second actuating device 9, arranged to actuate a reset of an indicator member associated with a heart (not illustrated), - an intermediate part 8', arranged to cooperate with the second actuating device 9, in order to move the second rigid part 2, in particular during resetting, as will be seen.

[0241] In the embodiment of Figure 12A, the clutch mechanism 100 is a clamp, comprising a first clamp portion 103 and a second clamp portion 104, each clamp portion 103, 104 being arranged to pivot about the axis of rotation P respectively P', in order to clamp or not a wheel linked to an indicator member (not shown) that it is desired to block or start.

[0242] In the embodiment of Figure 12A, the two clamp portions 103, 104 are two rigid and distinct parts which come into direct contact in correspondence of one of their ends.

[0243] The first clamp portion 103 comprises a pin 112 which is arranged to be received in the housing 12 of the first rigid part.

[0244] The second clamp portion 104 comprises a flexible blade 107, one end of which is connected to a hole 70 of the frames 7B / 7B'.

[0245] Figure 12B illustrates a view from below of the clock mechanism of Figure 12A, in the phase prior to the start or “off” phase.

[0246] The embodiment of Figure 12A should not be considered limited to the specific clutch mechanism 100 illustrated.

[0247] The second actuating device 9 of FIG. 12A comprises a rigid body 96 connected to a flexible blade 95, in particular a hook-shaped flexible blade. Under the action of a user, it is arranged to rotate about the R axis. It includes a portion 98' arranged to cooperate with the interaction part, for example via direct contact during resetting, as seen in Figures 15A and 15B.

[0248] The second actuating device 9 of Figure 12A, unlike that illustrated in Figure 2, is not locked during the starting phase. Even if it is actuated during this phase, it does not allow a reset, because its portion 98' does not come into contact with the intermediate part 8': the hammer portion(s) 22 therefore cannot actuate the heart(s).

[0249] In the embodiment of Figure 12A, the intermediate part 8' comprises a rigid body 80', connected to two flexible blades 83', which can for example be arranged in a V shape. This V shape has two functions: - return of the intermediate part 8' in both directions of rotation; - positioning of the intermediate part 8' during the stopping phase.

[0250] The intermediate part 8' also comprises a first pin 81', arranged to be received in an opening 121 created by the at least partial superposition of an opening 11 of the first rigid part with a second opening 21 of the second rigid part, and a second pin 82' which is arranged to cooperate with a hammer portion 22 of the second rigid part 2. The first pin 81' is used in particular to disengage the reset function during the start phase.

[0251] Before actuating the actuating device 6, the first and second pivoting parts 3, 4 are (at least partially) superimposed as illustrated in FIG. 12B. The first and second rigid parts 1, 2 are (at least partially) superimposed. The clutch mechanism 100 is in the disengaged position, in particular the two clamp portions 103, 104 are at minimum spacing (clamp in the closed position).

[0252] Figure 13A illustrates a top view of the clockwork mechanism 1000 of Figure 12A, in the starting phase. Figure 13B illustrates a bottom view of the clockwork mechanism 1000 of Figure 13A.

[0253] When the actuating device 6 is actuated, it causes the rotation of both the first, second and third pivoting parts 3, 4, 66 around the z axis, in the direction of the arrow F4 in Figure 13A.

[0254] The pivoting of the first pivoting part 3 causes, thanks to the prestressed flexible blades 5A and 5B, a displacement, for example by translation along the direction of the arrow G visible in FIG. 12A, of the first rigid part 1 towards a first stable position, so as to produce a clutch. Indeed, the pin 112 is received in the housing 12, which causes a rotation of the first clamp portion 103 around the axis P in the direction of the arrow P1 and a rotation of the second clamp portion 104 around the axis P' in the direction of the arrow P2, opposite that of the arrow P1: the two clamp portions 103, 104 are at maximum separation (clamp in the open position), which allows the indicator member (not shown) to rotate.

[0255] The pivoting of the second pivoting part 4 causes, thanks to the prestressed flexible blades 5A' and 5B', a displacement, for example by translation, always along the direction of the arrow G visible in figure 12A, of the second part 2 as well.

[0256] In this starting phase, the second actuating device 9 is not locked. It is therefore possible to actuate it, but its actuation does not enable a reset to be activated, because it cannot come into contact with the interaction part 8'. In other words, in this embodiment, in the starting phase the second actuating device 9 once actuated "works in a vacuum".

[0257] Figure 14A illustrates a top view of the clockwork mechanism 1000 of Figure 12A, in the stopping phase. Figure 14B illustrates a bottom view of the clockwork mechanism 1000 of Figure 14A.

[0258] By actuating the first actuating device 6 again (or by actuating another actuating device not shown), only the first pivoting part 3 is caused to pivot in a direction F5 opposite to that F4 at the start, as illustrated in Figure 14A. The second pivoting part 4 does not move. The third pivoting part 66 also rotates like the first pivoting part 3, in the same direction of rotation F5, due to the pin 38 connecting the third pivoting part 66 to the first pivoting part 3.

[0259] The pivoting of the first pivoting part 3 causes, thanks to the prestressed flexible blades 5A and 5B, a displacement, for example by translation, along the direction of the arrow H visible in Figure 14A (and opposite to the direction of the arrow G in Figure 13A), of the first part 1 towards a second stable position, so as to interrupt the clutch. Indeed, the displacement of the first rigid part 1 causes the pin 112 to come out of the housing 12, as better visible in Figure 14: the first clamp portion 103 then rotates around the axis P in the direction of the arrow P1' (opposite to that of the arrow P1 in Figure 13A) and the second clamp portion 104 rotates around the axis P' in the direction of the arrow P2' (opposite to that of the arrow P2 in Figure 13A). The two clamp portions 103, 104 are at minimum spacing (clamp in closed position), which stops the indicator member (not shown).

[0260] The movement of the first rigid part 1 also allows the rotation of the interaction part 8' around the axis of rotation Q, in the direction of rotation of the arrow Q1: the pin 82' of the interaction part 8' then comes into contact with the hammer portion 22 of the second rigid part 2.

[0261] In this stopping phase, the second part 2 remains pre-armed by means of the (second) pin 346 between the three pivoting parts 3, 4, 66.

[0262] Figure 15A illustrates a top view of the clockwork mechanism 1000 of Figure 12A, in the reset phase. Figure 15B illustrates a bottom view of the clockwork mechanism 1000 of Figure 15A.

[0263] By now actuating the second actuating device 9, only the second pivoting part 4 is (indirectly) caused to pivot in the direction F6 (visible in Figure 15B) which is the same as that of F5 of the first pivoting part 3 when stopping, as illustrated in Figure 14B. The first pivoting part 3 does not move. The third pivoting part 66 does not move either.

[0264] Unlike the embodiment of Figure 6, in this embodiment the second actuating device 9 does not act directly on the second pivoting part 4. By actuating the second actuating device 9, it is caused to rotate around the axis R in the direction of rotation R1 illustrated in Figure 15A, which brings the portion 98' of the second actuating device 9 into contact with the corresponding portion 89' of the interaction part 8'.

[0265] Following this contact, the interaction part 8' rotates around the axis Q still in the same direction of rotation Q1 of the stopping phase (figure 14A), which causes via the pin 82' the displacement of the second rigid part 2 along the direction of the arrow L visible in figure 15A (which corresponds to the direction of the arrow H in figure 14A) towards a second stable position, so as to actuate the heart(s) (not illustrated) 200 via the hammer portion(s) 22.

[0266] In one embodiment, the watch mechanism 1000 according to the invention is received in a watch case comprising a bridge or a separating element defining two housings, for example one side dial and the other side bottom, the clockwork mechanism 1000 according to the invention being received in one of these housings.

[0267] Figure 22A illustrates a top view of a mechanism according to another embodiment, in the phase prior to the starting phase. Figure 22B illustrates a bottom view of the mechanism of Figure 22A.

[0268] In this embodiment, the clockwork mechanism comprises in a main plane xy: - an actuating device 6, - a pivoting part 3, arranged to pivot under the action of the actuating device 6 around an axis z perpendicular to the main plane xy, - a rigid part 1'', - a first flexible blade 5A connecting the rigid part 1'' to the pivoting part 3.

[0269] In this embodiment, the pivoting part 3 is also a rigid part and the rigid part 1'' is also a pivoting part, because it is arranged to pivot under the action of the flexible blade 5A around an axis z'' also perpendicular to the main plane xy. Therefore, in this embodiment the rigid pivoting part 3 will be called the input rigid pivoting part and the rigid pivoting part 1'' will be called the output rigid pivoting part.

[0270] In this embodiment and in accordance with the invention, the clockwork mechanism also comprises in the main xy plane a mechanical pivot (not shown) having a main axis offset in the main xy plane relative to the axis of rotation in a non-pre-stressed or initial being at least one between the pivoting rigid input part 3 and the output part 1''.

[0271] Advantageously, the rigid pivoting input part 3 and / or the output part 1'' are mounted on this mechanical pivot, which pre-stresses the first flexible blade 5A and makes the assembly formed by the part bistable rigid pivoting input 3, the output 1'' and the first flexible blade 5A, so that the rotating rigid pivoting input 3 part causes the bistable assembly to move in the main xy plane from a first stable position to a second stable position.

[0272] In one embodiment, this bistable is a bistable which makes it possible to execute the start and / or stop function of an indicator organ not illustrated in a chronograph watch.

[0273] Figure 20A illustrates a top view of the bistable for start and / or stop, in which the flexible blade 5A is not prestressed.

[0274] Figure 20B illustrates a top view of the bistable of Figure 20A in which the flexible blade 5A is prestressed, because the output pivoting rigid part 1'' is mounted on a mechanical pivot (not shown) having a main axis offset in the main plane relative to the axis of rotation of the output pivoting rigid part 1'' in a non-prestressed state (that of Figure 20A), the position of the input pivoting rigid part 3 being the same in the non-prestressed (Figure 20A) and prestressed (Figure 20B) states. Figure 20C, which is a superposition of Figures 20A and 20B, illustrates the offset d5 between the two axes of rotation. In one embodiment, the offset d5 is less than one tenth of the length of the flexible blade 5A''.

[0275] The termination mode of Figures 20A to 20C should not be considered limiting, because for example it is also possible that the position of the output pivoting rigid part 1'' is the same in the non-prestressed and prestressed state and that the input pivoting rigid part 3 is mounted on a mechanical pivot having a main axis offset in the main plane relative to the rotation axis of the input pivoting rigid part 3 in a non-prestressed state. It is also possible that both the input pivoting rigid part 3 and the output pivoting rigid part 1'' are mounted on a mechanical pivot having a main axis offset in the main plane by relative to the axis of rotation of the input pivoting part 3 respectively output 1'' in a non-prestressed state.

[0276] In one embodiment, the input pivoting rigid part 3 is arranged to also rotate from a first stable position to a second stable position and when the input pivoting rigid part 3 is in its first stable position, the bistable assembly for starting and / or stopping is also in its first stable position and when the input pivoting rigid part 3 is in its second stable position, the bistable assembly for starting and / or stopping is also in its second stable position.

[0277] In one embodiment, when the rigid pivoting output part 1'' is in a stable position, it is arranged to activate a clutch mechanism 100 (a clamp comprising two clamp portions 103, 104 in FIG. 20A), in order to perform a clutch, and when the rigid pivoting output part 1'' is in another stable position, it is arranged to deactivate the clutch mechanism in order to perform a disengagement.

[0278] In one embodiment, the rigid pivoting output part 1'' is arranged to directly activate the clutch mechanism 100 by coming into direct contact with the clutch mechanism 100. In another embodiment, the rigid pivoting output part 1'' is arranged to indirectly activate the clutch mechanism 100.

[0279] Advantageously, the pivoting of the pivoting rigid input part 3 causes a deformation of the flexible blades 5A and 5B. This deformation causes a displacement (by rotation in the case of figure 22A) of the pivoting rigid output part 1'', and after this displacement a function (the start or stop of a chronograph in the case of figure 22A) is executed.

[0280] In one embodiment, the rigid pivoting output part 1'' comprises a pin 112'' and the clutch mechanism 100 comprises a housing 12 arranged to receive this pin 112'', in order to activate the clutch mechanism 100 to perform a clutch.

[0281] In one embodiment and as visible for example in Figure 22A, the clockwork mechanism comprises: - a second actuating device 9, - a second rigid part 2, arranged to move (in particular in the same xy plane as the first pivoting rigid output part 1'') under the action of the second actuating device 9, from a first stable position (relative to a frame 7B), to a second stable position (relative to a frame 7B), the movement of the second rigid part 2 making it possible to perform a function, for example a reset function.

[0282] In one embodiment, the movement of the second rigid part 2 is a translational movement.

[0283] In one embodiment and as seen for example in Figure 22A, the clockwork mechanism comprises a second pivoting part 4, arranged to pivot under the action of the first actuating device 6 (as shown for example in Figure 20A) or another second actuating device (not shown) around an axis perpendicular to the main plane. In the embodiment of Figure 22A, this axis is the same z axis of the input pivoting part 3.

[0284] In one embodiment and as visible for example in figure 22A, a first flexible blade 5A' connects the second rigid part 2 to the second pivoting part 4, and at least one second flexible blade 5B' (two in the mode illustrated in figure 22A) connects the second rigid part 2 to the frame 7B.

[0285] In one embodiment, the second pivoting part 4 is mounted on a mechanical pivot having a main axis offset in the main xy plane relative to the axis of rotation of the second pivoting part 4 in a non-prestressed or initial state. This prestresses the first flexible blade 5A' and the second flexible blade(s) 5B' and makes the second assembly formed by the second rigid part 2, the first flexible blade 5A' and the second flexible blade(s) 5B' bistable so that, when the second pivoting part 4 rotates, this second bistable assembly moves from a first stable position relative to the frame 7B' to a second stable position relative to the frame 7B'.

[0286] In one embodiment, the second bistable assembly moves by a translational motion. In one embodiment, the second bistable assembly moves in the main xy plane.

[0287] Figure 21A illustrates a top view of the pivoting part 4, the frame 7B', the second rigid part 2, the first flexible blade 5A' and the two second flexible blades 5B', the flexible blades 5A' and 5B' not being prestressed.

[0288] Figure 21B illustrates a top view of the mechanism of Figure 21A in which the flexible blades 5A' and 5B' are prestressed, because the pivoting part 4 is mounted on a mechanical pivot (not shown) having a main axis offset in the main plane xy relative to the axis of rotation of the pivoting part 4 in a non-prestressed state (that of Figure 21A), the position of the frame 7B' being the same in the non-prestressed (Figure 21A) and prestressed (Figure 21B) states. The presence of the mechanical pivot (rigid) offset relative to the axis of the pivoting part 4 in its non-prestressed or initial state makes it possible to make the assembly of the second rigid part 2, the first flexible blade 5A' and the two second flexible blades 5B bistable. In other words, the same assembly is not bistable when the pivoting part 4 is not mounted on the pivot which pre-stresses the blades 5A', 5B'.Figure 21C, which is a superposition of Figures 21A and 21B, illustrates the offset d6 between the two axes of rotation. In one embodiment, the offset d6 is less than one tenth of the length of the shortest flexible blade 5A', 5B'.

[0289] Returning to Figure 22A, the input pivoting part 3 and the output pivoting rigid part 1'' are free to rotate around the pivot axes, these axes being the same in Figure 22A.

[0290] The input pivoting part 3 may include a pin 34 which allows the hammer to be raised at the first start. The second pivoting part 4 includes a pin 112'' which is used to actuate the clutch clamps 103, 104.

[0291] The actuating device 6 is arranged to act on the input pivoting part 3 which in one embodiment comprises at least one notch (two in Figure 20B, references 31 and 32). Depending on its position, a beak or projection 63 of the actuating device 6 fits into one of the notches 31, 32 and causes the input pivoting part 3 to pivot and the blade 5A to bend until the bistable jumps for start and / or stop (i.e. until the output pivoting rigid part 1'' pivots), after which the bistable for start and / or stop stops in its second stable position. The bistable can therefore be activated in both directions as many times as desired.

[0292] Of course, the actuating device 6 of figures 22A and 22B is not limiting: it can be for example a monolithic pusher or another actuating device, for example an actuating device without rigid rockers.

[0293] If at the time of activation of the bistable for start and / or stop, the second pivoting part 4 (which in the mode of figure 22A is also rigid) of the bistable for reset is in the "hammer against the hearts" position, the pin 34 for start and / or stop will come into contact with the second pivoting part 4 and make it pivot around its axis. The blades 5A' and 5B' of the bistable for reset will therefore bend until the bistable jumps for the reset which will find itself in its second stable position (“hammer raised”).

[0294] Any other actuation of the input pivoting part 3 will only act on the bistable for start and / or stop because the pin 34 will no longer come into contact with the second pivoting part 4 in the “hammer raised” position.

[0295] In order to reset the chronograph to zero (Figures 23A, 23B and 26B), the previously raised hammer 22 must be brought into the stable position resting against the hearts (not shown). To do this, the force exerted by the user on the second actuating device 9 (for example via a system of mechanical rockers) causes the second pivoting part 4 to pivot in the opposite direction (clockwise in Figure 23A, arrow M) until the bistable for resetting jumps and strikes the hearts (not shown) of the chronograph and sets them to the zero position.

[0296] By pressing the second actuating device 9 again, the rocker will no longer touch the pin 34 of the input pivoting part 3: the second actuating device 9 will therefore work in a vacuum.

[0297] In one embodiment, when the chronograph is started (Figures 24A, 24B and 26C), the first actuating device 6 activates the input pivoting part 3; the second pivoting part 4 pre-arms the bistable for resetting via the pin 34 of the input pivoting part 3 (Figure 26C). The rigid output pivoting part 1'' rotates and opens the clutch clamps 103, 104 via the pin 112''. The clutch ensures the connection of the chronograph with the time chain.

[0298] In one embodiment, this position of the clamps 103, 104 guarantees a stop for the second actuating device 9: the chronograph cannot be reset to zero when it is running. In this embodiment, there is therefore a safety feature against resetting.

[0299] In one embodiment, by pressing the first actuating device 6 again (or another actuating device not shown), the chronograph is stopped (Figures 25A, 25B and 26D). In this case, the bistable for starting and / or stopping takes its second stable position. The clamps close (arrows P and Q in Figure 25A), the chronograph is disengaged. In this case, the second pivoting part 4 rotates (in the direction of arrow S in Figure 25A) without interacting with the hammer 22 which remains pre-armed. By pressing the first actuating device 6 again, the chronograph can be restarted.

[0300] In one embodiment, when the chronograph is stopped, the indicator organs (not shown) can be reset to zero by pressing the second actuating device 9, since there is no longer a stop.

[0301] When the chronograph is stopped, the user can reset the indicator organs (not shown): pressing the second actuating device 9 results in the lever pivoting for resetting, this lever acting on the second pivoting part 4 (figure 23A), which will cause the bistable to jump from one stable position to another for resetting.

[0302] When jumping, the bistable for resetting strikes the hearts (not shown) of the chronograph indicator organs and sets them to zero position.
