[0001] The object of this specification is a sofa base pull-out system, which is particularly applicable for increasing the depth of the seat without any joint therein and which works by means of a system of semi-rigid bands that allow the mattress to be retracted when it is closed and held in place when it is opened. A sofa base pull-out system, characterised in that it comprises a sliding seat (1), which is extended by a deployment mechanism (4) and which allows a mattress (2) to move back and forth in a straight line increasing its depth up to a maximum of 20 centimetres beyond the depth of the backrest of the sofa (10).
