[Technical Field]

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a laundry treating apparatus. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a laundry treating apparatus capable of intensively treating small laundry.[Background]

[0002] In general, a laundry treating apparatus is a concept including a washing machine that moistens laundry into wet laundry and removes foreign substances via a chemical action of a detergent and a physical action such as drum rotation, and a dryer that dries the wet laundry using hot air and steam.

[0003] However, in recent years, a laundry care apparatus that keeps the laundry fresh and clean without wetting the dry laundry in water has emerged. Such a laundry care apparatus is able to perform a refreshing cycle of deodorizing, drying, or sterilizing the laundry by supplying steam or hot air in a state in which the laundry is hung.

Claims

1. A laundry treating apparatus comprising: a cabinet; an inner casing disposed in the cabinet and providing an accommodation space where laundry is accommodated; and a space partitioner disposed inside the inner casing to be movable in a direction parallel to a bottom surface of the inner casing for selective partitioning or communication of the accommodation space.

2. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 1, further comprising: a machine room in communication with the inner casing, wherein the machine room includes a heater configured to generate steam supplied to the inner casing and a compressor configured to generate hot air supplied to the inner casing; and a through-hole defined to extend through the inner casing so as to be in communication with the machine room, wherein the through-hole is constructed to introduce hot air and steam generated in the machine room into the inner casing, wherein the space partitioner includes a film membrane withdrawable in the direction parallel to the bottom surface of the inner casing and configured to block a flow of hot air or steam discharged from the through-hole.

3. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 2, wherein the film membrane is disposed between a first space where the through-hole is defined and a second space, a remaining portion of the accommodation space excluding the first space, and blocks or guides the flow of hot air or steam introduced into the inner casing from the first space to the second space.

4. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a support rack disposed in the inner casing upward of the bottom surface of the inner casing, wherein the space partitioner is withdrawable from the support rack in the direction parallel to the bottom surface of the inner casing.

5. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 4, wherein the space partitioner includes: a film membrane accommodated in one side of the support rack and withdrawable in the direction parallel to the bottom surface of the inner casing; and a protruding fixer coupled to the film membrane so as to protrude therefrom and fixed to the other side of the support rack.

6. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 5, wherein the support rack includes: a support body disposed inside the inner casing and constructed to accommodate the film membrane therein; and an expansion portion withdrawable from the support body in a direction opposite to a withdrawal direction of the film membrane, wherein the protruding fixer is fixed to the withdrawn expansion portion.

7. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 6, wherein the expansion portion further includes: an expansion body withdrawn from the support body; and a partitioner fixer disposed on the expansion body to fix the protruding fixer.

8. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 6, wherein the support body is spaced apart from an inner surface of the inner casing, wherein the expansion portion is constructed to be withdrawn from the support body and be in contact with an inner surface of the inner casing.

9. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 4, further comprising a mounting rack disposed in the inner casing to be in parallel with the bottom surface of the inner casing and constructed to mount an article thereon, wherein the support rack is installed to be spaced upwardly apart from the mounting rack.

10. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 9, further comprising: a support body disposed in the inner casing and having the space partitioner; and a support leg withdrawable from the support body and constructed to connect the support rack with the mounting rack.

11. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 10, wherein the support leg includes: a leg body connected to the support body and mountable on the mounting rack; and a leg hinge rotatably disposed at one side of the leg body to allow the support leg to be withdrawn downward from the support body.

12. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 11, wherein the support leg includes a leg hook formed in a ring shape and disposed at a side opposite to said one side of the leg body, wherein the leg hook is constructed to be coupled to the mounting rack.

13. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 4, further comprising a storage hanger protruding from an inner surface of the inner casing and where the support rack is seated.

14. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 1, wherein the space partitioner is withdrawable from one surface of the inner casing in the direction parallel to the bottom surface of the inner casing.

15. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 14, further comprising a partitioner accommodating portion disposed on said one surface of the inner casing and constructed to accommodate the space partitioner therein.

16. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 15, further comprising: a first holder disposed on said one surface of the inner casing and constructed to fix the partitioner accommodating portion; and a second holder disposed to face the first holder and constructed to fix the space partitioner withdrawn from the partitioner portion accommodating portion.

17. The laundry treating apparatus of claim 16, wherein the first holder includes a plurality of first holders, wherein the plurality of first holders are arranged to be spaced apart from each other in a height direction of the inner casing to fix the partitioner accommodating portions at different vertical levels.

18. A rack comprising: a support body including both side surfaces, and a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface connecting respective ends of said both side surfaces to each other, wherein an article is seated on the support body; a ventilation hole defined to extend through at least a portion of the support body and allowing a fluid to pass therethrough; and a space partitioner withdrawable from one of said both side surfaces, the first surface, and the second surface to selectively shield the ventilation hole.

19. The rack of claim 18, wherein the space partitioner includes a film membrane withdrawn from one of said both side surfaces, the first surface, and the second surface and fixed to another of said both side surface, the first surface, and the second surface to shield the ventilation hole.

20. The rack of claim 19, wherein the film membrane is withdrawn from one of said both side surfaces and fixed to the other of said both side surfaces.

21. The rack of claim 19, wherein the film membrane is withdrawable from one of the first surface and the second surface and fixed to the other of the first surface and the second surface.

22. The rack of claim 19, further comprising an expansion portion withdrawable from one of said both side surfaces, the first surface, and the second surface, wherein the withdrawn film membrane is fixed to the withdrawn expansion portion.

23. The rack of claim 18, wherein the support body includes: first frames forming said both side surfaces; and second frames connecting respective ends of the first frames to each other and forming the first surface and the second surface, wherein the first frames and the second frames form a quadrangular cross-section, wherein the ventilation hole includes a plurality of ventilation holes arranged inward of the first frames and the second frames so as to be spaced apart from each other.
