Description

[0001] The invention relates to a multifunctional lamp, which is particularly versatile in its use and positioning. The invention also relates to a system comprising the multifunctional lamp and at least one suitable base that interacts with the lamp. State of the art

[0002] From DE 10 2022 13 892 A1, an adapter for suspending lamps, and in particular ceiling lamps, is known, comprising a housing designed to at least partially accommodate a lamp canopy or lamp head. The housing has a lower opening through which a lamp canopy or lamp head, at least partially enclosed within the housing, is accessible. The housing also has a top cover in which a predetermined number of magnetic elements are arranged. The adapter, with its cover, can be easily and flexibly attached adjacent to a metallic ceiling element fixed to the ceiling at a specific position. The magnetic elements interact with the ceiling element in such a way that the adapter is attached to the ceiling element and the ceiling, and the lamp, and in particular the ceiling lamp, is suspended together with the adapter. The ceiling element is a flat metal disc that can be attached to the ceiling at a predetermined position, either by screwing or gluing it to the ceiling.

[0003] The protruding adapter, designed for ceiling lights, is not suitable for floor lamps or desk lamps. Furthermore, the positioning of the lamp's suspension is fixed to a predetermined position on the ceiling by attaching the ceiling element, thus limiting its options. Task

[0004] The object of the invention is to provide a lamp that can be used and positioned flexibly and in a variety of ways, as well as a system for easy positioning of the lamp that allows for diverse and reversible use of the lamp.

[0005] The problem is solved by the characteristics of independent claims.

[0006] Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims and / or the following description.

[0007] The invention relates in particular to a lamp comprising a lamp body, a lamp base and a lamp head, wherein a lamp stand for the lamp head is provided together with the lamp body and the lamp base, which is arranged opposite the lamp base at the other end of the lamp body and is supported by the lamp stand.

[0008] The lamp body can be arranged and designed in particular as a slim, rod-like or stem-like connecting element between the lamp base and the lamp head, and provide a lamp neck for the lamp.

[0009] The lamp base has an advantageous central magnet adjacent to its bottom, the magnetic properties of which, in particular its holding force or magnetic attraction and its dimensions, are selected, designed and arranged in accordance with the lamp in such a way that the lamp is held by the magnet in a non-slip and fixed position at a predetermined location, where a suitable metal element or a suitable metal layer is provided that interacts with the magnet.

[0010] With the advantageous magnet positioned adjacent to the base of the lamp, a multifunctional lamp is provided that can be used simply, flexibly, in a variety of ways and, in particular, is stationary, non-slip and stable for many applications.

[0011] The magnet, when used with a flat cylindrical lamp base, can also be suitably flat cylindrical with a diameter slightly larger than half the diameter of the lamp base, and can advantageously be a neodymium magnet. The magnet's magnetic properties, particularly its holding force or magnetic attraction and its dimensions, can be selected, designed, and arranged to suit the lamp and especially the lamp base, such that the lamp is held securely, stably, and firmly in a predetermined position by the magnet. A suitable metal element or layer is provided at this position to interact with the magnet.

[0012] In this case, the magnet can be advantageously selected, designed and arranged in accordance with the lamp and especially the lamp base in such a way that the predetermined position can also be on a vertical wall or ceiling, so that the lamp with its lamp base is attached to the vertical wall or ceiling and held there, and the lamp body extends horizontally or vertically downwards from the lamp base, making the use of the multifunctional lamp as a floor lamp, but also as a wall lamp and even as a ceiling lamp particularly versatile.

[0013] The magnet can be suitably arranged and designed such that, when used as a floor lamp, the lamp placed on the lamp base essentially rests on a suitable base provided on the lamp base, while the centrally arranged magnet is spaced at a predetermined very small distance from a surface on which the lamp base is placed.

[0014] This also applies, of course, to the advantageous alternative use of the multifunctional lamp as a wall or ceiling lamp, where the base is in contact with the wall surface. The magnet maintains a predetermined, very small distance from the wall surface at the designated position where the lamp base is attached to the wall, and is held securely, non-slip, and firmly in place by the magnet. It is clear that the wall surface must have a suitable metal element or layer that interacts with the magnet.

[0015] The lamp base can be suitably designed, in particular, as a flat cylinder and open at the bottom, as described above. A first iron plate, a second iron plate, and the magnet are arranged and fixed in the lamp base such that the magnet is screwed to the first iron plate below it and is positively engaged in a central recess of the second iron plate. In this way, the magnet is advantageously shielded from the first iron plate in the direction of the lamp head, in which, as described below, suitable electronics for the advantageously multifunctional operation of the lamp can be provided.

[0016] For screwing the magnet to the first iron plate, the magnet has two through-holes, which are suitably arranged diametrically opposite each other and adjacent to the edge of the magnet. Each of the two hole holes is designed for a screw to fasten the magnet to the first iron plate in the lamp base. To protect the magnet and the interior of the lamp base from moisture and dirt, the exposed underside of the magnet, which is positively fitted in the central recess of the second iron plate and screwed to the first iron plate, can suitably be covered and protected with a thin protective film made of metal and / or plastic. The protective film can suitably be bonded to the underside of the magnet.

[0017] The magnet can also be suitably arranged in a central recess of the base provided on the lamp foot, which, as described above, is in contact with the surface onto which the lamp foot is placed or attached. The base is advantageously designed and arranged such that it surrounds the magnet in a ring shape and is suitably attached to the second iron plate. For example, the base can be glued to the lower second iron plate.

[0018] The second iron plate, the magnet, and the base each have a predetermined thickness, advantageously selected such that the lamp, mounted on the assembled lamp base, rests essentially on the base, while the centrally positioned magnet is only a predetermined, small distance from the surface on which the lamp base rests. Due to the dimensions and arrangement of the iron plates, the magnet, and the base, the magnet is held at a small distance from a smooth contact surface.

[0019] The predetermined distance is suitably on the order of max. 2 mm and advantageously max. 1 mm. This spacing is particularly advantageous for protecting both the magnet and a surface, especially from scratches, and for providing beneficial slip resistance in conjunction with the base that surrounds the magnet in a ring and a coaster described below. Furthermore, the predetermined, advantageously small distance does not impair the holding force or magnetic attraction of the magnet in its intended function in conjunction with a metal layer or metal element.

[0020] The protruding base provided on the lamp base can be advantageously designed to be non-slip by means of a circular silicone base, having a central recess and being arranged on the lamp base in such a way that the base surrounds the magnet in a ring shape.

[0021] The first upper iron plate can advantageously be designed as a flat circular disc corresponding to the diameter of the suitably cylindrical lamp base and have a recess extending radially from the center of the iron plate to its edge, reaching a recess on the side wall of the lamp base. This recess houses a charging port for charging a battery located in the lamp head, enabling the lamp to be electrically operated by suitable electronics. The rechargeable battery allows for advantageously flexible and versatile use of the multifunctional lamp, independent of a power source, at any location, even at a distance from any power source. The charging port can suitably be a USB Type-C connector for a suitable cable that connects to a suitable charger.

[0022] As mentioned above, the lamp head can house an electronic unit with suitable control electronics, an LED board, and a reflector, which interacts with the battery and is configured so that the lamp has a dimming function and a function for adjusting the lamp's color temperature. This multifunctional lamp can therefore be used in a variety of flexible ways in any suitable predetermined position as a floor lamp, wall lamp, or ceiling lamp. The lighting can also be adjusted in a variety of advantageous ways, adapted to the lamp's position and use. It is clear that, for this purpose, a suitable control panel for adjusting the lighting is provided on the lamp head, which interacts with the electronics described above.

[0023] The lamp head can be designed to allow flexible use of the multifunctional lamp as a floor lamp, wall lamp, and / or ceiling lamp, particularly by swiveling 180° on the lamp body, such that the lighting can be continuously adjusted from one direction towards the lamp base to the opposite direction. For this purpose, the lamp head can have a suitably designed recess in which the end of the lamp body connected to the lamp head is connected to the lamp head via a suitable joint, wherein the lamp body or the lamp neck is suitably rod-shaped.

[0024] The lamp head described above can suitably have a predetermined cylindrical and, in particular, a suitable conical shape with a lower translucent cover through which the illumination is provided. The lamp head and the suitably flat cylindrical lamp base can suitably be made of aluminum. It is clear that the lamp head can, of course, also have a different shape, such as a spherical one.

[0025] The recess described above in the swiveling lamp head can suitably extend in a slot-like fashion to a central axis of the lamp head, so that the lamp body, designed as a slender lamp neck, enters the lamp head centrally at a swivel angle of 0°, just as with a non-swiveling lamp. The lamp head, swiveled through an angle of 0° to 180°, advantageously remains at all times in the center of the support surface, and the occurrence of potential tilting moments, even for the lamp head itself, is advantageously minimized. A suitable self-locking mechanism for the joint to hold the lamp head in a predetermined swiveled position is therefore advantageously less required, and the joint is also advantageously protected from contamination.

[0026] A multifunctional lamp as described above can be particularly advantageous for use in the home and / or garden and / or while camping, and especially for use on a means of transport and / or in a vehicle, particularly since, in conjunction with a metallic surface, it allows for flexible, easy, safe, stable, and slip-resistant handling. Of course, the flexible use of the multifunctional lamp can also be desirable and advantageous, for example, in offices or restaurants.

[0027] For use with the aforementioned multifunctional lamp equipped with a magnet, the lamp can interact with a suitable metallic surface as described above, and in particular advantageously interact with a suitable coaster that has a metal layer interacting with the lamp's magnet and is suitably designed as a nano-gel adhesive pad with a non-slip, adhesive underside. Such a coaster is particularly advantageous because it allows for convenient, simple, and flexible retrofitting of a surface such as a tray, table, shelf, wall, etc., and enables simple, convenient, and especially flexible, reversible, secure, and stationary positioning of the multifunctional lamp.

[0028] The invention therefore also relates to a system with a multifunctional lamp described above and at least one coaster corresponding to the lamp and the magnet, which has a metal layer that interacts with the magnet and is designed as a nano-gel adhesive pad with a non-slip, adhesive underside such that the coaster adheres to a predetermined position in a non-slip and secure manner, and thereby interacts with the base provided on the lamp base and in particular with the magnet as intended, such that the lamp with the lamp base adheres to the coaster in a secure, stable and non-slip manner.

[0029] The system can advantageously include a multitude of protruding bases designed to prevent slipping on the multifunctional lamp in at least one, and preferably multiple, positions. The bases can also vary in size, particularly in their dimensions. Bases that adhere especially well to a surface, such as a vertical wall or ceiling, can cover a larger area than the base of the lamp and have correspondingly larger dimensions. Such a system allows for particularly easy and flexible handling of the multifunctional lamp described above for a wide range of applications. Examples of implementation

[0030] Exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the figures and are explained in more detail below. The figures show: Fig. 1 an exploded view of a multifunctional lamp according to one embodiment of the invention; Fig. 2 the lamp of Fig. 1 Assembled in an enlarged perspective view; Fig. 3A The lamp of Fig. 2 from another perspective; Fig. 3 Legs Side view of the lamp from Fig. 3A adjacent to a wall; Fig. 4 a perspective view of a multifunctional lamp according to an embodiment of the invention; Fig. 5 the lamp of Fig. 4 Positioned as intended on a wall; Fig. 6 the lamp of Fig. 1 and 2 together with a suitable base for positioning the lamp; Fig. 7A the lamp of Fig. 1 together with a charging cable and a charger; Fig. 7B shows a schematic representation of an exemplary selected lighting function of the multifunctional lamp from Fig. 7A .

[0031] The figures contain simplified, schematic representations. In some cases, identical reference symbols are used for elements that are the same but may not be identical. Different views of the same elements may be scaled differently. Not all reference symbols are shown in all figures.

[0032] Fig. 1A shows a multifunctional lamp 1 according to an embodiment of the invention in a schematic exploded view with the lamp body 11, the lamp base 12 and the lamp head 13. The assembled multifunctional lamp 1 is shown in an enlarged perspective view in Fig. 2The rod-like, slender lamp body 11, together with the lamp base 12, forms a lamp stand 11, 12 for the lamp head 13, which is arranged opposite the lamp base 12 at the other end of the lamp body 11 and is supported by the lamp stand 11, 12. The lamp body 11 is designed as a rod-like, stem-like connecting element between the lamp base 12 and the lamp head 13 and provides a slender lamp neck 11 for the lamp 1.

[0033] A first iron plate 121, a second iron plate 122, and a magnet 123 are arranged and secured in the flat, cylindrical, and downward-facing aluminum lamp base 12. The first, upper iron plate 121 is designed as a flat circular disc corresponding to the diameter of the cylindrical lamp base 12 and has a recess extending radially from the center of the iron plate 121 to its edge, reaching a recess on the side wall of the lamp base 12. A charging port 125 for charging a rechargeable battery 134 provided in the lamp head 13 for the electrical operation of the lamp 1 is located in the lamp base 12 at this point.

[0034] The diameter of the second iron plate 122, located below the first iron plate 121, corresponds to the diameter of the lamp base 12, just as the diameter of the first iron plate 121 does. Unlike the first iron plate 121, the second iron plate 122 has a central recess designed to accommodate the flat cylindrical magnet 123, and its dimensions correspond accordingly. The diameter of the magnet 123 is slightly larger than half the diameter of the lamp base 12. The magnet 123 has two through-holes for screws to fasten the magnet 123 to the lamp base 12. A circular silicone base 124, also with a central recess, is designed to be non-slip and surrounds the magnet 123 in a ring.

[0035] For stable and secure attachment of the magnet 123 in the lamp base 12, the cylindrical magnet 123 suitably has two diametrically opposed, continuous recesses, each designed for a screw (not shown in the drawing) to fasten the magnet 123 to the first iron plate 121 in the lamp base 12. To protect, in particular, the interior of the lamp base 12 from moisture and dirt, the exposed underside of the magnet 123, which is positively engaged in the central recess of the second iron plate 122 and screwed to the first iron plate 121, can suitably be covered and protected with a thin protective film made of metal and / or plastic. The protective film (not shown in the drawing) can suitably be bonded to the underside of the magnet 123.

[0036] The first iron plate 121, the second iron plate 122, the magnet 123, and the base 124 are assembled and attached to the lamp base 12 such that the magnet 123 is screwed to the first iron plate 121 below it and is positively engaged in the central recess of the second iron plate 122. The magnet 123 is also positioned in the central recess of the base 124, which surrounds the magnet 123 in a ring-like fashion and is attached to the second iron plate 122. For example, the base 124 can be glued to the second iron plate. The second iron plate 122, the magnet 123 and the base 124 each have a thickness that is selected such that the lamp 1 placed on the assembled lamp base 12 rests essentially on the base 124, while the centrally arranged magnet 123 is spaced at a very small distance from a surface on which the lamp base 12 is placed.

[0037] The predetermined small distance is suitably on the order of max. 2 mm and advantageously max. 1 mm, as described above. This spacing is particularly advantageous for protecting both the magnet 123 and a surface from scratching and for providing advantageous slip prevention in conjunction with the base 124, which surrounds the magnet 123 in a ring shape, and also with a coaster 2 described below. Furthermore, the predetermined advantageous very small distance does not impair the holding force or the magnetic attraction force of the magnet 123 in its intended function in conjunction with a metal layer M or a metal element M.

[0038] The magnet 123 is advantageously provided by means of a neodymium magnet and its magnetization is selected such that the multifunctional lamp 1 can be positioned and used or operated in a variety of ways at any position that has a metallic surface interacting with the magnet 123. In particular, the multifunctional lamp 1 can be used with a [missing information] as described below with reference to Fig. 6 The described suitable coaster 2 can be used in conjunction with the magnet 123. The following description refers to the advantageous applications and, in particular, positioning of the multifunctional lamp 1 with the magnet 123. Fig. 3A, Fig. 3B , Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 referred.

[0039] As described above, the magnet 123 is arranged in the assembled lamp base 12 directly below the first iron plate 121 and screwed to the first iron plate 121, whereby the first iron plate 121 shields the magnetic field of the magnet 123 and thereby provides protection for the electronics arranged in the lamp head 13 described below.

[0040] The lamp head 13, attached to the lamp body 11 opposite the lamp base 12, is slightly conical and, like the lamp base 12, is also made of aluminum. The lamp head 13 has a first upper cover 131 and a second lower cover 132, each of which can be suitably translucent. A central control panel for operating the lamp 1 is provided on the upper cover. The control electronics 133, arranged on a carrier 135 inside the lamp head 13, interact with the central control panel. A rechargeable battery 134 for powering the lamp 1 is also arranged on the carrier. For this purpose, suitable cables extend from the charging port 125 through the lamp base 12 and the lamp body 11, which are connected to Fig. 1 are not shown.

[0041] With its advantageous power supply via a rechargeable battery, the multifunctional lamp 1 can be used in a variety of ways at any position, even at a distance from any power source. An LED board 136 and a reflector 137 are arranged in the lamp head 13 below the support 135. The electronics for operating the multifunctional lamp 1, including in particular the control electronics 133, the LED board 136, the reflector 137, and the translucent lower cover 132, can be easily and versatilely configured using the control panel provided on the upper cover 131. This enables not only multifunctional use through diverse and flexible positioning but also multifunctional lighting operation of the lamp 1, as illustrated below with reference to Fig. 7B is described.

[0042] Fig. 3A The multifunctional lamp 1 of Fig. 1and Fig. 2 from a different perspective, and Fig. 3B shows a side view of lamp 1 adjacent to a wall W.

[0043] The central magnet 123 is attached to the lamp base 12 by means of screws, as described above, and is surrounded by the base 124 in a ring-like fashion. The cylindrical magnet 123 has a diameter that is slightly larger than half the diameter of the lamp base 12. As also described above, the magnet 123 and the base 124 are designed and arranged such that the lamp 1, with its lamp base 12, comes into contact with the base 124, which is placed on or supported by a surface, with the centrally arranged magnet 123 being spaced from the surface at a predetermined small distance, as described above.

[0044] As stated at the beginning and above with reference to Fig. 1As described, the magnet 123 has two diametrically opposed, continuous recesses adjacent to its edge, the two recesses being designed for screws to fasten the magnet 123 to the first iron plate 121 in the lamp base 12. To protect the magnet 123 and the interior of the lamp base 12 from moisture and contamination, the exposed underside of the magnet 123 can be suitably covered and protected with a thin protective film made of metal and / or plastic (not shown in the drawing), which may be bonded to the underside of the magnet 123.

[0045] Due to the advantageous magnet 123, the surface on which the lamp base 12 is placed or to which the lamp base 12 is attached can be not only a flat surface but also an inclined surface and, in particular, a metallic surface with a metal layer or metal sheet M of a vertical wall W, on which the multifunctional lamp 1 can advantageously be reversibly positioned and attached by means of the magnet 123. Fig. 3B Figure 1 shows the multifunctional lamp 1 with its lamp base 12 adjacent to a predetermined position P on a wall W with a metal layer M, wherein the lamp base 12 is attached to the wall W by means of the magnet 123 when fully attached to the wall W and the lamp body 11 extends essentially horizontally from the lamp base 12 attached and fixed at position P.

[0046] Fig. 4Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a multifunctional lamp 1 according to an embodiment of the invention, which is essentially the embodiment of Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 This corresponds to the above description, which is why reference is made here. Unlike the explanation of Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 The lamp head is 13 of the version of Fig. 4 The lamp head 13 is suitably designed to pivot 180° in a direction R such that the lamp head 13 with its lower translucent cover 132 can be continuously pivoted from a position in which the cover 132 faces the lamp base 12 to a position in which the cover 132 is completely turned away from the lamp base 12. For this purpose, the lamp head 13 has a suitable recess 138 in which the lamp body 11 engages the lamp head 13, which is attached to the lamp body 11 by means of a suitable joint.

[0047] Fig. 5 This is shown by lamp 1 of Fig. 4The lamp is positioned and attached as intended to a wall W, which has a suitable metal layer M that interacts with the magnet 123. Position P and wall W are, for example, a metal door frame M. The lamp base 12 is attached to the wall W by means of the magnet 123, the lamp body 11 extends essentially horizontally from the lamp base 12, and the lamp head 13 is, for example, pivoted by approximately 90° such that the lower translucent cover 132 of the lamp head 13 is directed downwards towards the floor.

[0048] The recess 138 of the lamp head 13 can suitably extend in a slot-like manner to a central axis of the lamp head 13, so that the lamp body 11, designed as a slender lamp neck, enters the lamp head 13 centrally at a swivel angle of 0°, as with a non-swivelable lamp. The lamp head 13, swiveled through an angle of 0° to 180°, always remains in the center of the support surface, and the occurrence of potential tilting moments, even for the lamp head 13 itself, is advantageously minimized. A suitable self-locking mechanism for the joint to hold the lamp head 13 in a predetermined swiveled position is therefore advantageously less required, and the joint is also advantageously protected from contamination.

[0049] Fig. 6 The multifunctional lamp 1 of Fig. 1 and 2 together with a suitable base for positioning lamp 1 2.

[0050] The flat coaster 2 is a suitable nano-gel adhesive pad with a non-slip, adhesive underside, featuring a metal layer that interacts with the magnet 123 of the lamp base 12. The coaster 2, with its non-slip, adhesive underside, is designed to be easily and flexibly placed at a predetermined position P, P1, P2 on a surface, such as a piece of furniture like a table, shelf, or wall W. Once in place, the coaster 2 is positioned securely and reversibly for its intended use in conjunction with the multifunctional lamp 1. Fig. 6In this case, the underside of the lamp base 12 has a larger surface area and adhesive area, which is an exemplary and advantageous feature, as a result that the coaster 2 adheres particularly well to vertically extending walls W.

[0051] The lamp base 12, with its non-slip silicone base 124 and in particular its magnet 123, interacts as intended with the coaster 2, which has a metal layer, in such a way that the multifunctional lamp 1 is held securely and also non-slip on the coaster 2.

[0052] The coaster 2, which interacts with the magnet 123 of the lamp base 12, is arranged with its underside in a non-slip position P, P1 or P2. Fig. 6In addition to the aforementioned coaster 2 at position P, two further exemplary positions P1 and P2 are shown schematically. As mentioned above, positions P, P1 and P2 can each be a predetermined position P, P1, P2 on a surface, e.g., of a piece of furniture such as a table, shelf or storage unit, for example, also in a vehicle and of course also on a wall W.

[0053] A system 1, 2 for the non-slip positioning of the multifunctional lamp 1 at at least one predetermined position P, P1, P2 is provided by a multifunctional lamp 1, the lamp base 12 of which has a central magnet 123, and at least one cooperating base 2, which has a metal layer M cooperating with the magnet 123 and is designed as a nano-gel adhesive pad with a non-slip and adhesive backing. The system 1, 2 can advantageously comprise a plurality of bases 2, each designed for non-slip positioning at a plurality of positions P, P1, P2.

[0054] Fig. 7A shows a reduced-size representation of the multifunctional lamp 1 of Fig. 1 and Fig. 2together with a charging cable and a charger, for the advantageous charging of the battery 134 described above, whereby the lamp 1, with the battery 134 charged, can be easily positioned, used and operated flexibly at any predetermined position P, even at a distance from any power source. The charging port 125 described above is suitably a USB Type C port.

[0055] Fig. 7BA schematic diagram illustrates an exemplary function of the multifunctional lamp 1, demonstrated by manually operating the central touch-sensitive control panel in the upper cover 131. This allows for stepless adjustment of the dimming function, in particular, using the electronics described above. Furthermore, the color temperature of the multifunctional lamp 1 can also be set using the control panel and the electronics described above.

[0056] Even though the figures show various aspects or features of the invention in combination, it is apparent to the person skilled in the art – unless otherwise stated – that the combinations shown and discussed are not the only possible ones. In particular, corresponding units or sets of features from different embodiments can be interchanged. Multifunctional lamp Reference symbol list
