Medical image analysis

Abstract

Proposed concepts aim to provide schemes, solutions, concepts, designs, methods, and systems pertaining to medical image analysis. In particular a difference between annotations relating to an anatomical object in first and second medical images of an area of interest is detected and used to generate a further annotation describing a difference between the anatomical objects. Such an annotation, based on the difference of the anatomical object in the medical images taken at different point in time, may be used for the training of a machine learning model adapted to identify differences in anatomical objects, or simply be provided to medical professionals and / or subjects.
