Abstract

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a source node may transmit, to a target node, a handover request associated with handing over a user equipment (UE) from a first cell to a second cell, the handover request including a first type of UE trajectory information. The source node may receive, directly or via at least one hop from the target node, an information update message, conveying a second type of UE trajectory information associated with the UE, as a response to the handover request including the first type of UE trajectory information.
