Abstract
An apparatus, method, and computer-readable medium for a user equipment (UE) in a 5G New Radio (NR) network are disclosed. The UE encodes notification signaling indicating capability to support simultaneous reception of two downlink (DE) signals, decodes configuration signaling for bidirectional high-speed deployment, and decodes two DE signals received simultaneously during the deployment. The receive timing difference between subframe boundaries of the DE signals is within a pre-configured maximum. The configuration signaling includes fields for high-speed deployment type and measurements in frequency range 2 (FR2). The UE may be a power class 6 (PC6) device supporting simultaneous reception in FR2-1. Multiple receive chains enable simultaneous signal reception. A corresponding base station decodes the UE's notification signaling and encodes configuration and DE signals for transmission to the UE.
