Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a mattress with replaceable pad layers, and more particularly, to a mattress consisting of a plurality of layers that can be selectively removed and replaced with other layers for the mattress to meet different users' requirements.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The conventional mattress structure internally includes a plurality of layers, which include a comfort layer, a spring-supported layer, and a base layer. The comfort layer may be made of synthetic latex, high-density support foam; the spring-supported layer may be made of polymeric foam, isolation foam, stretchable cloth, joining fabric, pocket springs or support springs; and the base layer includes an anti-slip bottom cloth. These layers are superposed to form a mattress core that meets consumer satisfaction. The mattress core is wrapped in an outer cover, which includes an upholstery layer that is in direct contact with a user's skin. The upholstery layer may be made of high-class jacquard cloth, Tencel breathable fabric, graphene fabric, cooling and hydrophilic cotton or high-functional cotton to provide users with a variety of choices in mattresses.

[0003] Conventionally, the internal layers of the mattress are joined first by sewing two adjacent layers together and then connecting all the sewed up layers sequentially, so that all the internal layers of the mattress are firmly held together without the risk of moving relative to one another easily.

[0004] Therefore, the conventional mattress is heavy and large in volume, making it uneasy for users to move or transport. Further, the conventional mattress is also subjected to many factors in use environment, such as temperature and moisture, which would lead to mildewed, molded or oxidized layers or rusted support springs of the mattress. Therefore, the conventional mattress having been used for a long time tends to become sagging and less even support. The mildewed or molded layers of the mattress will also cause skin allergy.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
