Abstract

A procedure for the destruction of cancer cells based on the use of magnetically coated nanoparticles (NPs), preferably coated with biocompatible molecules, which are taken up by cells through endocytosis or cell membrane transport proteins, and the application, preferably, of variable electromagnetic fields using device (1). These fields can be modified in frequency, intensity, and duration using a data input device (10), and these parameters are displayed using display devices (8) (9). This generates a magneto-mechanical process that agitates the nanoparticles inside the cell and causes their destruction, without the need for chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapies, heat treatments, surgery, or any other intervention. This procedure is applicable to any type of tumor, regardless of size, shape, or location in the body.
