Title of the invention: Portable device consisting of a USB digital stethoscope and ECG blood pressure monitor for telemetry
[0001] The present invention relates to a lightweight, waterproof, portable, flexible and pliable device comprising an electronic stethoscope and an electronic ECG blood pressure monitor combined.
[0002] The entire inseparable device allows the digital capture of heartbeats and the detection of cardiac abnormalities for the stethoscope part on the one hand, and of blood pressure and blood pressure abnormalities for the electronic ECG blood pressure monitor part on the other hand - independently or simultaneously - in digital form for the purpose of making available for medical video conferencing between doctor and patient.
[0003] The device is equipped with small-capacity memory storage both in the stethoscope head and in the ECG blood pressure monitor cuff, allowing for offline use. The device is designed for connected use in order to transmit data.
[0004] The digitization of the readings from the stethoscope part is performed using heart rate sensors (A-001) arranged in the transparent, flexible polymer coating (A-003) of the device head ([Fig. 2]) in its intermediate layer (A-002). The body of the stethoscope head is shaped like a flat, flexible spatula to facilitate contact and improve its surface area. The sensors only capture the pulses from the underside to avoid spurious measurements during handling.
[0005] The digitization of the ECG blood pressure monitor readings is performed using digital and optical blood pressure sensors distributed across the inner contact surface of the simplified, flexible cuff (B-003). This cuff has a water-repellent coating. It is a simplified, 3 mm thick rubber band. According to the invention, it is held in place and closed by clasps made of slightly magnetic plates (B-002) to adjust its diameter, the sensors in question not being affected by the electromagnetic waves of the weak magnets used.
[0006] The whole, in one piece, is covered with a coating with water-repellent and anti-slip properties (A-003, A-004, B-003, C-001, D-001).

[Claim 1] Demands Assembly comprising a digital stethoscope and a digital ECG blood pressure monitor in one unit, connected by a water-repellent cable (C-001), the assembly being covered with a coating having water-repellent and anti-slip properties (A-003, B-003), the stethoscope comprising a head at the end of the cable (C-001) and being composed of heart rate sensors (A-001) arranged in the soft transparent and flexible polymer coating (A-003, B-003) of the stethoscope head, the ECG blood pressure monitor being composed of a rubberized cuff located 40 cm from the end to allow simultaneous measurements and comprising digital blood pressure sensors and optical blood pressure sensors (B-001) distributed on the inner contact surface of the cuff, the assembly including a blood pressure and heart rate data storage system, the assembly being lightweight, waterproof.
