DEVICE FOR REPRODUCING A MODEL IN THREE DIMENSIONS CONTAINING NATURAL MINERAL ELEMENTS

By employing fingerprint games with natural mineral element reliefs in concrete block molds, the aesthetic and integration issues of existing concrete blocks are addressed, resulting in blocks with minimally visible molding marks that are both robust and visually appealing.

AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing concrete blocks used for safety barriers and coastal protection lack aesthetic appeal and integration with urban furniture, as they have smooth surfaces and do not effectively mimic natural mineral elements.

Method used

The use of fingerprint games with reliefs that reproduce the appearance of natural mineral elements, such as stone walls or rocky surfaces, is applied to the internal walls of a concrete block mold to create an aesthetic facing. This process involves modifying the arrangement of at least two imprints to reduce or eliminate pattern repetition between blocks, thereby masking the artificial nature of the blocks.

Benefits of technology

The resulting concrete blocks feature a surface with natural mineral element patterns that are minimally visible, providing a more aesthetically pleasing and integrated urban furniture solution while maintaining the structural robustness required for safety and coastal protection.

Abstract

TITLE OF THE INVENTION: DEVICE FOR REPRODUCING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODEL CONTAINING NATURAL MINERAL ELEMENTS. The device for reproducing a three-dimensional model (10) containing natural mineral elements, in the form of a rigid block made from a liquid or paste-like product, in a rigid mold (20) having at least two walls (25, 30) forming an edge (40) between them, the space between the walls (25, 30) being the interior of the mold (20), comprises at least two so-called "coplanar" cavities (45, 46, 48) made by molding the model, the peripheries of the coplanar cavities having protrusions (50) and hollows (55) configured so that the protrusions of one and the hollows of the other are complementary when the coplanar cavities (45) are juxtaposed in the same plan on a first wall (30) of the mold.Preferably, the reproduction device also includes at least one so-called "corner" impression (60) made in conjunction with at least one of the coplanar impressions (46) on an edge of the model.
