Abstract

The present invention proposes the use of at least one sphingolipid for a hair treatment intended to induce growth and / or inhibit hair loss, including eyelashes and eyebrows. This sphingolipid is preferably a ceramide having a fatty acid with a long hydrocarbon chain in the C18-C24, predominantly C20-C22, and a phytosphingosine base. Furthermore, and advantageously, the treatment is comprehensive, also suitable for improving the properties of the scalp and hair.
