Abstract

Female Fluid Connection Element and Associated Fluid Connection: This female fluid connection element (100) (R) is designed to be connected to a Schrader-type male fitting (10) with a threaded tubular portion (16). The female element (100) comprises a main body (110), which provides a distal opening (112) for receiving the male fitting in an engaged position, and an adapter (120), which is designed to be secured to a pipe and is assembled to the main body. A locking mechanism (140), which is received in a housing (118) radially formed in the main body, provides a through opening (145) for receiving the male element in the engaged position.A locking stop (170) is guided in the main body (110) and extends into the housing (118) and the opening (145) of the lock, so as to allow movement of the lock between a locked position and an unlocked position, while preventing movement beyond the locked position.
