AI Technical Summary
Technical Problem
Existing double-door connection systems for transferring objects between a container and a cell experience significant suction forces that require substantial effort to open, leading to potential accidents and operator fatigue, and conventional vent holes introduce contamination risks.
Method used
A cell flange with a unique annular seal design and lock mechanism that reduces suction force by selectively exposing the seal to air, allowing easier door opening and minimizing contamination risks.
Benefits of technology
The design significantly reduces the effort required to open the cell door, preventing accidents and maintaining a sealed environment by minimizing air intake during door opening.

Abstract
A cell flange (200) comprising an annular flange body (201) with a main axis (AX) fixed to a wall (100). The flange body (201) defines an internal passage (202) and carries a cell door (15) capable of selectively closing this passage. A peripheral annular gasket (60) is mounted on the cell door (15) and bears against a gasket surface (80) of the flange body (201) to ensure sealing. The gasket surface (80) is a stepped gasket surface. (Shorthand figure: Figure 3.)
