Abstract
A nasal cannula assembly 400 including a coupling member 404 arranged to receive the flow of respiratory gases, a frame 402 coupled with the coupling member, and one or more nasal prong modules removably coupled with the frame. The coupling member has a single gas input, and first and second gas outputs 451 leading to separate nasal prongs. A number of different nasal prong modules may have different nasal prong geometries, which may include at least one asymmetric nasal prong geometry. Figure 7
