To allow a visualization device to visualize traffic information even before an event related to the traffic information occurs.SOLUTION: An information visualization system includes a network device that generates traffic information in response to transmission and reception of signals, an information collecting device that collects the traffic information from the network device, a visualization device that acquires the traffic information from the information collecting device, generates a monitoring screen based on the acquired traffic information, and displays the generated monitoring screen, and a maintenance device that extracts visualization target items, which are items of traffic information to be visualized, from a visualization item file in which the traffic information used to generate the monitoring screen is described in a predetermined file format, and notifies the network device of the extracted visualization target items.
