Abstract

To provide a technology that sufficiently reduces a polyurethane content in a recovered fabric and enables creation of a polymer material with the same quality before and after chemical recycling.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for reducing a polyurethane content of a recovered fabric by contacting the recovered fabric having a polyurethane content of 0.3 wt.% or more and 15.0 wt.% or less with ethylene glycol at 150°C or more and 205°C or less for 5 minutes or more and less than 90 minutes.SELECTED DRAWING: None
