AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing cell culture systems face challenges in creating culture schedules that adhere to time constraints and avoid overlapping with other projects, requiring manual effort to ensure compliance with operation intervals and project schedules.

Method used

A management device that includes an acquisition unit to acquire the sequence and start timing of culture operations, a creation unit to assign time frames, and a determination unit to check for conflicts with existing schedules or time constraints, assisting in creating a culture schedule that avoids non-assignable time frames.

Benefits of technology

Automatically generates culture schedules that consider time constraints and avoid overlaps, reducing user labor and ensuring compliance with project schedules, even for inexperienced users.

Abstract

To provide a management device that can support creating a culture schedule in consideration of time constraints in culture operations and a culture schedule of another project.SOLUTION: A management device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires a sequence representing the order of execution of a plurality of culture operations to be executed in a project, and a time frame serving as the start timing of the project; a creation unit that creates, on the basis of the sequence and the start timing, a culture schedule in which time frames for executing each of the culture operations of the project are allocated; and a determination unit that determines whether or not the culture operations of the project have been allocated to a non-allocatable time frame that is at least one of a time frame allocated to a culture operation of another project or a time frame that does not satisfy the time constraints of operation intervals determined in advance for each combination of sequential culture operations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
